yea i know but i ment like a whole army full lead by one alpha female

im planing to plaint mine black and red...ill post pics when im done

the helmet on the bottom looks like a rectangle where you can store 3 dvd cases. You litterally have to dismantle every piece to get the extra crap in the helmet to make it wearable (Look at my first pic, look for the big black block.) As a hollow helmet, there's a lot of holes to put screws in. No cushioning whatsoever, so it really hurts your scalp if you wear it for prolong periods of time.

Keep us updated with pics and links to the auction. :D

I actually saw one of these for the first time today and damn it looks awesome I wish I hadn't been so cheap and would have bought the Legendary instead of the CE.

Well I don't have the tools to sever the visor, so I basically just hollowed it out and superglued it back together (since there are no inside supports anymore). I finished gluing it back together earlier but since I had class I couldn't take a picture. I'll post it up sometime tomorrow afternoon.
What method did you use to hollow it out? Or does your sister suffer from rectangle head?

LOLI, EVERYWHERE

Well I decided to smolder the inner visor.

I also had my girlfriend try it on, and it *barely* fit her head. I'm going to touch up the smoldered edges tomorrow, fix some padding to the inside so it doesn't hurt like a bitch, and then list it tomorrow night on eBay (hopefully).

Because anyone can unscrew the helmet and put it back together. Besides, if I do sell it for purposes of a child's costume, it's much better that they're able to see on Halloween night than to have them walk around holding it.

Went from mildly interesting to ruined fast.

I think the only way to fix it now is to remove the entire visor part and get some clear plastic of an orange tint to put in there.

Since it now looks awful you should see if you can find orange plastic wrap and cover the hole with it, so it doesn't look like you complete destroyed a $70 helmet.

EDIT: ok jer7583's post wasn't there when I started writing so since we both made the same idea within 5 mins I think that is your best bet especially since as you said anybody can do that.

I can't believe you just did that. The helmet's ruined now. Next thing to do would be to insert a see-through visor. Only thing that will save it now...

yes... someone already said that.

And only you can make it look this awesome!!!! How much were you looking to get of this thing please tell me no more than $50 if your lucky.

lol
everybody's reaction is the same as mine xP
yep, sounds like orange seethrough plastic is the way to go now
the more reflective the better

Any kind of clear plastic should work. See if you can find some cheapass clear plastic tumblers that are orangish at a thrift store or somewhere.. I'm thinking you might be able to find some plastic container you could do a hackjob on and then shoehorn it in there with superglue if it's the right size. I don't know.

Or you could sell it as the "Headshotted Spartan Helmet"

The first mod was good. The second...you might as well have made a smashing video like these douches.

Seriously, your helmet looks like ass now.

He can also check his local hobby shops for translucent orange/gold model paint. It comes in little cans, and I'm fairly certain orange is an available color.

Thanks for the link.

Wow you guys are harsh- I forgot the line that said I was replacing the part I cut out. Like he^ and another poster said, I'm going to look for a clear orange plastic to replace what I soldered. My girlfriend has some in the past that would have been perfect (some orange tinted squares used in photography) but I need to buy some now. I thought she had them, so the listing is being pushed back again. :whistle2:(

But seriously, what's the point of wearing the helmet if you can't see?

Looks like ass with that hole in it. I be surprised if you could pay someone to take that off your hands, let alone get any money for it on ebay.

Have your girl give you head with the helmet on.
Post video.
Gently stroke the helmet while she works on your joystick.

It looks like ass now...... Hopefully you can save it somehow.

Ok maybe thats why he cut it in the first place :whistle2:s

But seriously, should look cool when you "fix" the visor.

I think my original post has even more significance until you fix that hole. If that's even possible.

well i guess it's not so bad now that you're filling the hole.. but it'll still be tough to match it to the rest of the visor.

Says Kotaku:

"As far as I can tell there really isn't a good one. I could cut holes in the visor, but that would ruin the effect. I even through of covering the wholes with pieces of like-colored sunglasses, but that's just stupid.

I think the best idea might be to not do this
