CUSTOMIZED Halo 3 Legendary Helmet (Smoldered visor, no more blindness!)
If the legendary is 130, game is 60, that makes the helmet 70. :)
Well I bought mine for $30 so NANANANANA!

Still, it doesn't matter, because that POS is worth 5 cents, tops.

To the OP:

Couldn't you have pulled it all appart and just removed the visor completely? Then you could have used the visor to make a cast and then fashioned a new visor out of translucent plastic, and then sprayed it over with mirrored transparent gold paint.

As you have it now, it looks like shit, you've ruined the real visor forever, and you'll never get something transparent to match the shit surrounding the hole.

You've basically fucked this one up majorly, IMO.

beat me to it glockant
anyways, yeah i thought that one lost it's effect without the mirrored amber visor
gonna need that to make the helmet look any good

the clear visor looks a little, and i stress little bit better, a fair attempt either way, i'm sure some bad ass form of this will pop up soon, so hopefully we can see it then
lol, use a black marker and draw the lines on the visor like the original visor. Oh btw, still fed up. xD
Thats a different person, at least that guy took out the whole visor not just ripped a glory hole into it.

The helmet will never work aesthetically without a mirrored finish. It's not right when you can see the person's eyes through it. It just ends up looking like a semi-futuristic Motorcross helmet.

i would just go to a motorcycle shop like first gear or some place and pick up an orange or red iridium helmet visor.. use a dremel and file to cut it to form of the helmet. then you get the same mirrored look, but can still see though. common guys.. ;)

It's a very narrow shape and I can't imagine you can just grab a visor off the rack and install it with some minor modifications.
How can two people both share the same horrendous vision?
What about the people actually bidding on it? As of my typing this, it's at $102 w/ bids.
Wow. Way to fuck up a collector's item.
Always naysaying.
