Used it on Alice: Madness Returns artbook and got Paprika on Blu Ray to round out the free shipping and after tax it totaled at $27.27. Awesome. Thanks OP!

The art of Alice: Madness Returns is what I was considering using this on as well.

I Haven't even started the game, but I got to say been eyeing the designs since it was first announced and I can't help, but want to get it. That and I heard Dark Horse actually did a knock out job with the design of the book itself so I kinda felt nothing to lose.
Oh, how I really miss Borders... Whoop de doo, 30% off for only six hours...
Pretty stupid comment considering Borders' sales were pretty much off of MSRP while this sale could be used on already discounted items.

So for example that Art of Alice Madness Returns book we were talking about comes down to $15.31 after the coupon. At Borders, even with a 40% off coupon it would have been $20.99, a whole dollar less than B&N's everyday price.

That's actually the perfect example of why Borders constant 30-40% sales sucked. For the most part they just brought things down to the prices of their competition, and in many circumstances they were still higher than Amazon and others.

Actually you couldn't. Being the dicks that they are, B&N raised the price of the Star Wars set yesterday to $126, no joke it's one of the first things I looked to buy. They raised the price of the Original trilogy set to $62. Thus, even with the 30% off it would have just brought it down precisely to their everyday price. Dicks I tell you.

edit: reading on SD, for a short time it was $88 so you could get it for around $62 but I guess they realized that they didn't want to sell it that low so they raised it.

They also raised other sets. They raised the LOTR extended set to $108. This is the kind of shit that makes me never want to deal with them again. I hate companies that do things like this. If you're going to have a 30% off everything (exclusions aside) don't jack up the fucking prices on the things that aren't excluded to negate any savings. Ugh

I agree - if you have exceptions fine, but screwing around with pricing when you realize you made an error is pretty shifty.

Too bad I missed out. Would of used it on that Pink Floyd "Dark Side" box set. 30% off would have brought it down to $81.90 or so which would of been a decent deal.
