Mag Prices - $5 single issue, $15 year sub of 10 issues not 12(2 months of coupons overlaps)

SUBSCRIBING - (In-Store vs Online)
In-Store - You get the current months mag for FREE JUST HAVE THEM SCAN IT when you bring the subscription receipt($15) from the gaming pre-order kiosk. Keep this receipt in the event you don't get the next months mag & a gaming rep MAY allow you to use a store copy until you start getting yours in the mail. It's usually 6-8 weeks BEFORE you should start receiving your 1st issue.

I had to do what Pez did as well. I signed up linked to my reward zone account so enter whatever email is linked to that and it will email you the account number and then you can log in.
 
I was really hoping for a KOA:R coupon in next month’s issue :whistle2:\ I played the Homefront multiplayer demo and I thought it was pretty fun, I'll definitely pick it up for around $2, not much else for me though unless some of those games go on sale and I can score some for around the $5 range. last month spoiled me and I can't see myself paying more than $5 for a new game. My fingers are still crossed for the time being for an eventual KOA:R coupon.

I'll definitely pick up KOA when I can get it somewhere for $20. The demo had a fun but very $20 feel to it. I almost felt like the gameplay to Dungeon Siege 3 felt a little more polished.

I think thats a little harsh.

The multiplayer was actually pretty fun, felt different enough from COD and the like. I think for $5 its well worth it.

5 minutes of a Hamburger or 3-4 hours of a mediocre shooter. I'll take the shooter

Thanks, thats exactly what i had to do. Signed up for GCU in October and only ever received one issue of @gamer in the mail. Just been getting them in store for free. But yeah so i filed a missing issue report and they extended my subscription.

BB is extremely happy with the results from March but they will adapt if the $5 single issue sales aren't good enuf. The total # of mags in circulation is key since the advertisers can be charged more money & BB is still getting $5 per mag to boot. There's also the inpulse buying from extra foot traffic & people paying $2 per game for their warranty as add ons.

Out of the 10 mags per yr I expect 5 epic ones, 3 good ones & the rest will vary based on used game availability & game tastes. PS vita games & 3ds games will start to trickle in as well.

I am working a way to get even better deals than these along with ways for us to make our own deals on games we want

Taken from Wikipedia page.

"Each new copy of Homefront contains an online pass, enabling users the full multiplayer experience. Although the online pass is not required to play multiplayer, those who play without an online pass will be capped at level 5 out of 75."

At least you will still be able to play online, even if it is still only to level 5. Probably enough of a tryout to decide if you want to pay for the online pass.

I personally can't stand playing online shooters (I'm fairly anti-social online), so I'll probably just pick it up for the single player campaign and not even touch online content.

For the record, I LOVED the multiplayer in Homefront. Then again, I'm the same guy that played Medal of Honor and Killzone 3 over BFBC2 and the other shooters around.
 
I'd get Homefront for pocket change. I'm probably gonna get it for campaign, but does it require an online pass?

Yes.

To my understanding, you can play multiplayer just fine, but you can't gain XP/"level up" past Rank 5 without it.
 
Totally in for a Yakuza: Dead Souls. The only problem is the temptation to buy it as soon as the coupon drops rather to wait for them to put it on sale. :D
 
yakuza dead souls is amazing. i got lucky and got it on release from gamefly, gonna beat it this month and then pick it up this fall for 20 hopefully. would love to get this month for 20, but doubt it. soooo much game packed in this. and i thought i was originally mad cuz it is the exact same world from yakuza 4, but then that makes it so much awesomeness.
 
So are people starting to receive April's magazine or is the coupon information coming from a different source? I'm wondering what the dates on the coupons are and hoping I get the magazine before Sunday.

Well the start date for the April mag is gonna be 04/08 because the March issue doesn't expire until 04/07. More than likely we won't get the April mags in the mail until next week...

I know the March coupons are good until 4/7, but I thought we'd get the April issue sooner. I believe my March issue arrived at the very end of February.

Looks like I will get Homefront. For that price, I won't worry about online, which was good in the demo but I have Halo Reach and Bad Company 2 for that anyway.

Sin and Punishment: Star Successor has been $15-20 consistently at Kmart for over a year now. If anyone really wants some for that price, let me know and I can go take a look at the Kmart near me.
