Mag Prices - $5 single issue, $15 year sub of 10 issues not 12(2 months of coupons overlaps)

In-Store - You get the current months mag for FREE JUST HAVE THEM SCAN IT when you bring the subscription receipt($15) from the gaming pre-order kiosk. I don't want or need FFXII-2, but damn, that's a good deal. I've already played and beaten Homefront, but I'm debating picking it back up for that price.
 
Will definitely get a copy os Sin and Punishment again. Been wanting to play that some more since playing Kid Icarus.
 
Since homefront is only 1.19 after the card and coupon you would be crazy to not pick it up no matter if you have played it or not. I forgot if it has offline coop or not. If it does then me and my father could kick some ass together :)
 
Quick question, so none of the stores around me have Homefront available. However it says "Usually ships to store 3-5 days" so could I purchase it and when I go pick it up, hand them the coupon and just pay the rest?

The nice thing about Resistance 3 is that if all you care about is getting a platinum, you don't need the online pass. There are no online trophies in the game. There are some co-op trophies, but they can be done split screen.

Personally, I would send them to the stores that BUY the most used games...maybe there is a direct correlation between used trades and store buys but I doubt it with the potential for flippers to skew the numbers.

Not really but you can if you get ymmv lucky. I went through this, complained with customer service and got a flat no. Went into the store, showed them my receipt and told them cs said it was legit and they were fine with it.

I actually liked 3 better because we could enjoy the whole campaign story together, I do wish there some some asymmetry in co op players though.
 
my grrl and i just played resistance 3 co op until the game just wouldnt let us go any further. There must have been a badguy that didnt register or something cuz the barn door would never open and this was farely beginning of the game. so then she dropped out and no more co op ;)

anyone know if bb automatically gives you rz certificates everytime u get 250 pts? i thought before you could choose when to cash the pts in for a certificate, but they just gave me one for making 250 pts and i never chose to redeem them.

Probably not. It says that coupons can't be combined on the back of the all the coupons and the system usually won't automatically deduct both offers, it'll just apply one or the other even if you get a nice CSR to try...

You can set your preferences to automatically give you certificates when you reach a certain amount of points or you can bank them until you're ready to use them. Your preferences are probably set to redeem automatically when you reach 250 points.

I went today and picked up FFXIII-2 and Batman. I noticed that they had a used copy of Homefront (didn't have Friday night when I was checking for FF/Batman) but it was marked $34.99. The new copies were still $19.99 surely they didn't raise it that much because of the April coupon coming?
 
The April mag is in stores now, but the coupons don't work. They were trying to scan the Resistance coupon, but it wouldn't take off the $20. We'll have to wait until 4/8 to use these coupons.
 
No April issues available at my stores yet...checked 2 different ones. They had plenty of Jan/Feb and the March issues.

The pre-owned copies still say $17.99 on the website, so regardless of what the ones in your store are stickered they should ring up the $17.99 when those coupons go active.

It's just that very few BB stores really re-sticker the pre-owned games once they get them in. I've bought games that had dropped to the magic $19.99 price for the March coupon but were still stickered $34.99 or even $44.99.
 
I hope I get my April copy because I never received my last issue and I wanna use the Resistance 3 and Homefront coupons. I was able to extend my subscription for 1 month though for missing an issue. Worst come to worst I'll just buy a copy in store.

My local store was out of FF XIII-2 but I was finally able to use the $10 off $19.99 coupon today on Legend of Zelda for the 3DS. It is on sale for $24.99 so $12.50 with GCU was too hard to pass up.

The USED game tags dont change once they get to the store. that was the price when they first got it. its $20 when scanned

No. But most likely that will drop in price gradually just like every other game. That is, unless BB really takes on the GS biz model and keeps super popular titles priced stupid high for pre-owned.

The last month's coupons went active a few days BEFORE the date they said they would be active from. But yeah, they should be active as of the 8th of April.

That was for people who renewed their PUR membership and used the B2G1 coupon to get three MW3 and flip them to BBY during their 50% trade-in bonus. It's dead.
