i couldnt last 15 min in homefront. the opening cinematic was so realistic i got completely psyched out, tried playing for a few min, got killed, then turned off my 360. maybe ill go back to it later, but idunno, too close for comfort, especially since i go to school in sf.

Basically if the world debt is ever settled, it could cause a war when we can't pay up. China has been breeding/training an army for decades plus they are allies with Korea and enemies with Japan (where we basically are the only military due to WW2 agreements). I would think the conflict would start with japan, then spread, but these are all hypothetical situations.

Personally, I think we should wipe out Iran while we still can. An area with a 2,000 + year old grudge, one of the most powerful empires in history, nuclear facilities, and a hatred for America is not a good thing...Especially since we basically put Saddam into power/helped Iraq fight against Iran.

One note about Homefront that was a big selling point for me....the story was written by the same guy who wrote Red Dawn.

I had them do an OMS order for me in store today for a $1.28 copy of :ps3:Homefront. :lol: Watch the copy come from the next closest store, which was a disc only version when I checked last week.:whistle2:& Either way it's not due in till the 22nd. Now to decide if I wanna grab one of the remaining two copies of Skyrim from my closest store or not when I go to pick that game up AND use the Resistance 3 coupon in the same transaction.

Personally I'd love to visit Cuba and enjoy a fine, authentic Cuban cigar without fear of it being some illegal contraband. Thing is, I stopped smoking 10+ years ago, but I would start up again just to smoke one of those.;) Then I'd promptly quit again.

You know you want to smoke again!!!! I just filled both of my humi's in preparation for the summer. Nothing better than one of my favorite IPAs and a ghurka!!!!


Back on topic though, I wish I didn't have homefront already (got it for $8 months and months ago, but haven't even looked at it yet). I loved the demo, but just don't have the time.

Like everyone else here, I am still waiting for some more things to flip!!!! March got me crazy into flipping. Made 7x the amount in credit that I initially invested!!! Come on GS or BB, make April just as exciting for the trade-ins.

lol, reminds me that I smuggled some in last year from Mexico. Smoked them for the first time ever last summer camping. Much better than I thought and I'm a non-smoker. However, once a year is enough.;)

homefront for $1.30 is good for me also picked up Resistance 3 for 12.80 out the door having a blast. Granted these coupons still have 2-3 weeks ish left we are bound to see something drop. :D

You know the funny thing is I also don't drink anymore either, but I would definitely do so if I could find a bottle of 100% authentic absynthe(absinthe?). But apparently every place you can import it from makes it a different way. I want the type of shit Hemingway used to drink when he wrote his books.

That would be in France, but I do not think they make it the same way anymore.
 
Shocked mine isn't, it's a small town of about 10k but I'd guess we're the closest Best Buy for another 15k. Still, not a whole lot of people.. especially considering that it's a fairly snow birdy area where a large population leaves in the winter.

I'm starting to get worried there might be something wrong with my subscription, I signed up on April 1st and apparently they don't have a record of my account, yet my reward zone indicates I'm unlocked. I tried the forget password thing but it doesn't recognize my email.

Does it usually take a couple of weeks or is something up? It's only been about 2.5, I suppose.

For $2 I'd like Homefront.. Resistance 3 is a bit sketchy because I'd plan to do co-op with a friend. $13 + the online pass is $23, can get a line new copy over at Gamefly for less with the coupon.

I'll check my store and see if they'll let me use a store's copy.

It came up to $2.99 + tx for me yesterday, I just grabbed a magazine from the game section turned to coupons and walked up to register to check out, she scanned coupon,paid then left magazine on counter
 
its $17.99 then 10% off with BB Gamers Club so thats a $1.80 off so that makes it $16.19 then they take the $15 coupon off :cool: to make it 1.19 be for tax

You're not subscribed to the Gamer's Club Unlocked($15 just like Gamestop's PowerUpRewards thing)? If so, that's why the game was $3 for you. Of course, it should have been $8 since they should've made you pay for the magazine as well.

But apparently that stores' employees haven't done their lil learning things in their downtime to learn about how they're not supposed to take copies of coupons, that keyring app or let people just scan the coupons or use the SKU's from them anymore w/o actually buying the magazine.:whistle2:#

Maybe they switched you to the digital subscription without letting you know? As it stands, I gotta go back to my buddies house before he tosses out the extra copy of the mag I got for pre-ordering Prototype 2 and rip out the rest of the coupons and get those Kid Icarus cards from it.;)
 
Anyone knows any other way of getting the coupons? I have no received my subscription either. I did go today and switched to digital but I am sure it will not take effect until May. Is the free magazine with prototype preorder still valid?

Are you part of Gamers Club Unlocked ($15 per year membership)? If you are, you also need to get them to input your RZ info as that tells their system to take 10% off the base price of the game. That brings it down to $16.19. With the $15 coupon, it brings it down to $1.19.

I didn't my magazine in the mail this month. My March issue didn't arrive until the end of March.
 
Sure it's been asked at some point but I want some fresh opinions anyway... Pilot Wings worth $20? Or just wait and hope it goes on sale? The gliding parts in Mario Kart got me wanted a fun, cheap flying game...but seems like PWR is extremely limited. I enjoyed the N64 one but that was mainly due to it's shrunken USA you got to fly around.

You prolly won't see them on sale again til they clear inventory. These got exploited pretty bad during the bf crazy deals.
 
I really like the idea of the digital version. I hardly ever read the magazine anyway and the ones that are sent to me have an awful habit of being late or not arriving at all, so I'd rather just be able to get the coupons online and not have to deal with the rest of the hassle.

Same here. The only real deal is Homefront. I paid $1.xx for a used copy from Gamefly thanks to a glitch. Nothing for me so far.
 
I am amazed at the inconsistent knowledge from best buy to best buy and all levels of employees. Today, I grab my cheap Homefront copy and receive inquiries from the cashier, security guy and customer service manager about where I got the copy, if I wanted it back to use again (I didn't), and how these deals can be attained.

I visit about 5 best buys in the area and sometimes I feel like their corporate trainer rather than customer.
 
Should i be able to sign in Gamer unlocked with my reward zone email and pw? I'm trying to sign in and it tells me it couldn't find that account, i just signed up for unlocked last month and still haven't gotten my magazine this month. I don't know how long it takes to get into their systems but it sounds to me like it either didn't get into the system or something went wrong somewhere and i'm not registered.
 
I was pissed with this issue, but I just got a PS3 thanks to the gamestop sell. Might get resistance. Any good flips?
 
flipped a few games today. some cheap 11tiv udraw games i got for 11 n cheaper at gohastings with % off and 10/off 40. also flipped shift 2 from gohastings.
picked up free mag with proto2 preorder.
hoping for some pre owned glitch deal like dead island 2 again before this months coupons expire. i also need darkness 2 to be $30 sale so i can pick it up for 20. woot

I played it way back when the 3ds first came out at a kiosk. It was definitely fun, I was more asking if it has $20 worth of content.
 
Finally went back and exchanged my defective copy of Homefront for another copy. Everything went as planned. It's a great deal, despite Homefront not being very good.
 
Flipped a Homefront back to BB for more than $2. F3AR, ME2 & Homefront = $16.20

Use it and a PM from TRU to get Witcher 2
