*DEAD* [Canada]Rogers Video 2/30 on PP'ed games (Aug. 28 - Sept. 24)

First time I got some good things (CoD3 and Pokemon) and it seems Greyhound lost my luggage. There goes those two, Perfect Dark Zero, my 360 controller, Scrubs DVD set (a friends...) and clothes =[
 
I snagged Big Brain Academy for Wii, and Okami at the Mountain Rd location in Moncton. The one in Dieppe did not have anything good at all.

Missed out on tuesday and the rest of the week, was able to grab Spiderman 3 360 and Okami today though. Passed on Scarface Wii and NBA Homecourt 360. Hoping for a restock. If anyone wants to dump an extra The Darkness for the 360, let me know!

Anyway, Rogers at 41st/Victoria has Pirates of the Carribean on 360 (2 copies), Rampage for Wii, and some crappy games. I didn't buy anything as I wasn't interested.
 
Well boys and girls I've almost got enough credit at blockbuster by trading in basically crap games to buy a ps3 lol home stretch
 
by the way apparently BBV isnt supposed to take games without the manual. I got stuck trading my games in to the manager at BBV and he wouldn't take two games because they were missing the manual. So I have to try again another day when he isnt there lol

Never had a problem at mine! In fact, I have been keeping the manuals from the games I trade in lately, sort of a take that to anyone who buys the game. I have to fish out the manual most of the time, they can do the same!:lol::applause:

I've never had a problem either I actually tend to keep the manuals as well lol
none of the employees seem to care but apparently the manager does.

Wow...do you mean you're almost able to buy a PS3 for free? As in you made like 600 in profit? Or 600 in total?

If you mean Victoria Dr. and 41st Ave (beside Londom Drugs/McDonalds/etc) then all it has left is Pirates for 360, Superman for 360, Splinter Cell for 360, Rampage for Wii, Pirates for PS2, and some other crap =/

It'll probably be free if I can keep going the way Im going but so far I've got over $500 in credit just trading in copies of shrek, pirates of the caribbean and ratatouille alongside one copy of harry potter. If I keep going the way Im going I will have probably close to $1000 in credit by the time the sale ends.

they sell them for 49.99 I think. All I know is they are going to fund a lot of basically half price gaming hardware for me :)

id like to believe that if i lived near rogers, I would try to help those who arnt fortunate enough.lol. anyone have any wii games or ps3 games to sell cheap or trade, it would be nice. thanks guys.

Wish BBV would give me 500, or heck, 200 point cards, for renting games there instead of those crappy 48 hour codes :\
 
True that. I wished they DID sell 500 pts cards for people who are usually interested in one XBLA arcade game say, every six months to a year.

I want to play Streets of Rage 2 :bomb:.

All Pro Football 2K8
Fifa 07
Project Sylpheed

A good haul for me as I'm not missing very many 360 games, so it's hard to find stuff I'm looking for. Call of Juarez and EDF2017 are still eluding me!

Fifa 07 looks tempting. But 08 is around the corner, so I may wait out.
 
I hit mine tonight had some good stuff but the games I really wanted, Overlord & The Bigs for 360 were taken by an employee :(
 
Went to the one by Surrey Central and got Hotel Dusk Room 214 and Pirates of the Caribbean (360). Been wanting Hotel Dusk for a while and figured if Pirates sucked at least I could trade it in for like $22 at EB and get most of my cash back =P

Went to all 4 Roger's in my area yesterday after work... was able to pick up:

[360] NCAA Football 08
[360] Pirates of the Caribbean 3
[PS3] Spiderman 3
[WII] Big Brain Age Academy
[WII] Mario Strikers Charged
[WII] Mario Strikers Charged
[WII] Resident Evil 4

Cost me $105 total and was able to trade them in at EB Games for $213 which I used to purchase a brand new Xbox 360 Premium.

Drove around to 5 different rogers today and 3 of them had the signs down. I talked to one of the guys working there and he said they pulled down the signs about half hour before I arrived. He said regardless of what the eplus flyer says the deal is offically over.......quite craptacular.
 
I don't know about that because the manager of the store near me who called the other store and got a game put on hold for me said I could pick up another game tomorrow for two 2 for $30

First Post. I picked up the Bigs for Wii and PS3, was going to trade them in but thought I would give you guys the option to trade me for 'em first. I live in Nanaimo.
