*DEAD* [Canada]Rogers Video 2/30 on PP'ed games (Aug. 28 - Sept. 24)

If you grab there E-plus flyer, it says the deal is over on the 24th. I'm going to grab it and try to convince them that is the case on Wednesday. It's worth a shot at least.:)

I know the in-store flyer says the 24th. It might be different online.
 
Oak and 15th still has this promo. Plus they did a pretty big pull. Nothing stellar though.

Belleville ended the promo, only had 1 360 game (Eragon) and no Wii/PS3 though so it wasn't worth asking if they would honor the flyer.

Kanata is done with the sale.. went to two locations, one had Saint's Row, Eragon, Scarface, and that's about it.. the other was all PS2 games.
 
I went to Rogers Video and showed them the flyer and got Mario Strikers Charged and Madden 08(PS3). I traded them in with Madden 08 Wii I got from last time and came out with 108$ in credit. Now before the flames come rolling in I might add that there were many more Madden's and there were two more Strikers where I went. :D I'm going to check back in on Sunday and see if they restocked by then. I saw a copy of Warhawk there and if anybody wants to go grab it and lives on Vancouver Island it's in the Nanaimo's Rogers Video along with Madden 08's of all consoles and a Mario Strikers if the employee's haven't already grabbed it.

I was at a rogers store last night and was told by 2 managers that they got a fax last week and they HAVE TO honor the 2 for 30 sale till the end of the 24th.

Might get lucky and find a few things still hanging around from the last pull like I did last night.
the darkness 360 and mario strikers charged one more store to check in saskatoon! :)

mine is doing it aswell until the 24th. (today) Im going back to check one last time today. I also have a game Im going to exchange after the sale ends on the next restock lol

Was at a store yesterday, seems they didn't have the deal anymore. But thats alright becuase I was just there for my 25 dollar wavebird! You have no idea how hard those things are to find (even at regular price everywhere else).
 
Went to the Rogers that I frequent last night so I can try to grab anything they have. Well they stocked up on used games but the cashiers gave me the 'dates are subject to change', 'management sent us a note to cut the deal early', and 'this fine print doesn't specify a specific deal' and other bs like that. :roll: And here I thought I would be home free with Mario Party 8, Madden08, and Two Worlds.

However, since I was in a hurry and wanted to get to where I need to go, I didn't bother haggling. So as you can tell, I am highly annoyed by this.
 
I dont have to keep on harrassing every rogers video store employee in the city every couple of days, nor do i have to spend my paycheck on friday :)

my rogers is so cruel, stopped by today and they had 3 copies of bioshock, 2 Blue Dragons, 1 MotoGP 08 and Mario Stikers Charged, 4 copies of Lair and 3 Warhawks
