*DEAD* Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Lost Planet 3, DmC: Devil May Cry, Resident Evil REvelations for $19.99 @ Capcom.com

Would have picked up Remember Me and Lost Planet 3 but decided not to bite due to the recent Duck Tales BS. Thanks anyways, cheapest deals I have seen yet for those 2 titles.

Seems crazy that the original Dragons Dogma on 360 is 39.99, while the newer Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen is only 19.99 on PS3.. Anyway, thanks for posting, i've been looking to pickup this game for awhile and $20 with free ship is a good deal for DD Dark Arisen.

Is Dark Arisen the only one with free shipping?

Although I doubt BB would pricematch, these are good prices on Dark Arisen.  Was watching the Eurogamer and Lens of Truth comparison for PS3/360 on this game, and it seems to be pretty much a toss up; 360 has more screen tearing, but sometimes better lighting and textures.  Either version should be fine though!

I watched the same thing last week, haha. Yeah, it seemed like a toss up like you said, no huge pluses or minues for either platform really.

Thread should be closed. There was one exact one last week.
Yea, this was posted last week. Shipping makes most games much higher, though I was able to get Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen for free shipping and no tax. It also includes a "Pawn Bobble Buddy". I guess some sort of Bobble Head of the Pawns from Dragons Dogma? I ordered last week though and the order still shows processing for some reason. Anyone know if that's normal?

Wish some of the other titles were free shipping. I'd stock up on those also.

Edit: I guess it's worth a try to submit the prices to Amazon. If enough people submit them they may price match.

It took 14 posts for someone to post that, which shows there is a flaw in your argument.

People would obviously be missing out on this deal if I had not posted this thread.

Your logic is badly flawed. When I saw the title I assumed Best Buy had actually matched the prices that were already posted here for the Capcom store. Why didn't you just add on to the earlier thread with your "revelation" about trying a very YMMV price match at Best Buy?

lol, your shitty OP also managed to skip the fact that everything is backordered except DMC.

Holy COW!  I ordered Dark Arisen on PS3, RE Rev on 360 and Lost Planet 3 on 360 with tons of DLC and a bobblehead for under $75 shipped.

The 360 titles were on backorder but it let me get them anyway.  And DD:DA was only for PS3.  For 360 they only had the old version for twice the price.  But considering I wanted to restart DD anyway and I have no more room on 360 hard drive, better to have it on single disc PS3 anyway.  Now I just need to rent the old version for PS3 and make a save for the special bonuses. :)

Grabbed Dragons Dogma, almost bought the non arisen version when best buy cleared them out with the coupon for $10~. This version for $20 w/ a physical bobble head sounds like a good enough deal. At least I didn't get burned like I did buying white knight chronicles..... (they released a superior version and included the previous game in WKC2)

NO. It should not be closed. If it weren't for this new thread I never would have seen this. Valid good deals that don't stay on the front page of the deals are a travesty. Thank you OP!

Doesn't matter.... you can still order backordered items for the reduced price, so most likely Capcom will honor these prices and send them when they have more stock. Thanks OP!

Blame the character cap, but I'll make sure to add that you have to physically go to a fuck ing Best Buy and tell them to match Capcom.com instead of being a lazy fatass in the OP.
Except they do not price match capcom.com so it would be damn near impossible to price match unless you ended up with the most clueless csr and manager.

Haha, I love how you reworded your original post, OP!  However, I will say that mentioning BB at all seemed a little unnecessary.

He could have simply bumped the old thread. Clutter like this makes it harder to catch deals as the board becomes full of repetitive junk.

Well, I've seen people be successful with price matches at Best Buy by just showing pictures of CAG posts showing in-store sales for Fry's Electronics or Microcenter. If they can get away with something like that, why not actually attempt a primary source of verification like a goddamn legit website?

Sorry guy, but after searching for "Dragon's Dogma", "DmC", "Capcom", etc., no such thread exists using CAG's search engine (except for this one). Looks like you don't have a leg to stand on.

Because the best buy PM policy specifically states what online stores they will price match (frys.com) and any local retail competitor (frys/microcenter for some people). Typically what happens is that they see the info on the phone and look it up on the computer they are at during the checkout process. Capcom is not on their online list nor is it a local retail competitor as they do not have any physical stores.

Thanks OP! Picked up DD : Dark Arisen.

I don't get why people bash on CAG's that post deals when they could just ignore the thread since I'm sure they're not interested on the deals anyways. Gotta love internet bullies. I know there was an old thread about this but almost all the deals were out of stock that's why that thread died down. With the OP creating a new thread I was able to get in on it, although the BBY Pm is not necessary.

Again, all he had to do is bump the old thread. The BBY PM is the only new thing he added and it turns out to be not even something most people can use since BBY doesn't price match Capcom.com. I have missed several deals recently because of clutter like this, so it's not about being a bully, it's about using some common sense so this site doesn't become a mess like many other deal sites.

@bojay

If by "the old thread," you mean the thread galvatron referenced above, that thread only has four games listed.

I'd also like to point out that I've been looking for a ≤$20 deal for Dark Arisen since it released, and this is the first mention I've seen of it anywhere for under $30. Without this thread, I'd have missed it entirely, regardless of whether the old one had been bumped; primarily because with old threads that are active on the front page, my default assumption is that it's simply people continuing pre-existing conversations, not posting new deals.

So I'll throw my hat in the "I appreciate OP" ring.

On an unrelated note, since people seem to have missed it, DD:DA is available for $19.99 FS for 360. It's on the third page of the 360 deals, all the way at the end.

I'd post a link, but apparently as a mere lurker I don't have that privilege yet.

1) They could have bumped the old thread.

2) Valid and good are opinion based things are irrelevant. Like this might be a good deal on a game that sells for $60 or this new, but that doesn't mean Lost Planet 3 is a good game or something we should all jump to get.

^This guy gets it.

So you should be applauded for making a new post with a COMPLETELY irrelevant title because it helped 1 person?

People get away with a lot of things, since a lot of people are stupid. Just because person A is stupid, doesn't mean anyone else on the planet will get the deal. A lot of people forget that for each successful buy, there is at least 1 (typically 10+) failure stories.

I read the title and thought that it was at Capcom and maybe a place to price match to BestBuy. This is like if I posted a deal on Play-Asia and was like "Lost Planet 3 for $30 dollars and BestBuy Price Matchable". Also, there is already a thread, so the merits of posting this would have been to simply bump the previous one. All you're suggesting is that people who don't search and justify their logic with some 1 in a 100 event to make posts here...

That thread originally had 1 game posted, but OP didn't update it quite fast enough. However, I don't think it's logical or fair to praise someone because you simply assume reading the thread would be a waste of time.

Even if I didn't and took a look at the OP of that thread, I wouldn't have found the large majority of deals present in the links OP of this thread showed, and, most critically, I wouldn't have found the one that I am (and it would seem many of the people who have responded in this thread are) actually interested in. I think it's perfectly fair and logical to praise somebody on the merit of providing more valuable information than a previous sharer.

Look, I entirely understand if you're intent on being unhappy about somebody providing harmless information, but it seems to me that the people who are actually interested in these sales are quite satisfied with the result.

I wondered why more people weren't excited for Dragons Dogma: DA for $19.99 shipped (no tax for me for whatever reason) and a free Pawn Bobble Buddy. Glad others finally got in on the deal as well.

Edit: Still a bit concerned as I ordered last Wed or Thurs and it still showing "processing". Any one have any experience with how long it takes Capcom's store? FWIW, I ordered 2 copies of Dragons Dogma DA with the 2 Bobble Heads.

Yeah. I've been trying to train my self to not add certain suggestions to my threads, as I know how these characters can get.

Speaking of which, I stumbled upon some UK site called Cranky Gamers. Lmfao!

It would have been on the first or second page of the deals section had you looked there first. Most likely would have taken less time then using the search feature.

Not to mention you created this thread after all the games went into backordered status. Very helpful you are.
