"Complete" is misleading, series isn't cancelled. Good price though, I bet it sells out quick.

code BMLSAVES with BillmeLater makes it $49.99!

No, and complete is a misnomer, since it doesn't have the current season or Blue Harvest. Good deal if you don't have any of the seasons, though. And you're a fan, not a hater.

Saw this just now....Really FG screws the fans by doing this to their loyal fans. This is the what second box thing like that? I'll just have to get the newest season. I've bought every single season separate and hate when they do this [BLEEP] crap.

you do need the other volumes and for you this would be perfect cause you need the other 3 seasons and at 20 a pop on sale thats 60 anyway

they do this sort of thing all the time! think of Friends, X-file, Seinfield... The only difference is that FG is still on. Now, this is a great deal for those of us never bought a vol. Not sure wanna jump on this... Tax kills the deal a bit (hey, i spent a lot this month already).

Wish they'd announce blu-ray. I can't stand these useless packaging gimmicks from DVD Marketing teams. Just give me the standard size blu-ray cases that take up less space, and I'll be a happy camper.

I'm in for one. I've seen an episode here and there and enjoyed them quite a bit. $60 for every release up to this point is good enough for me. I'm not a huge fan of the packaging, but for the price I can't complain.

In for one. Would rather have the individual packaging but for $60 I can't pass this up considering I own none of the seasons and want them all up to this date! Thx OP!

re: Blu-ray my guess is it will be a long while before we see that. Even the most current TV episodes are still broadcast in Standard Definition on the HD channels.

No one is forcing you to buy anything, and this is a special price set by Amazon. Shut the fuck up.

Thanks OP, bought one! I bought the first 3 seasons from England as I did not think we would get any releases at the time. We got ours about a year after but they released them in volumes, so I never could figure out which volume belonged to which season, which prevented me from buying any US volumes of newer seasons. Unfortunately the British releases looked like crap on my TV for whatever reason (I'm guessing the pal conversion or something) and I was never really happy with them. I'm glad for this deal as now I know that I will have absolutely everything up to the next box set release.
I jumped on this. Really good deal for someone like me that doesn't have any family guy volumes.
Ditto, I have been holding off getting Family Guy DVDs because they're so expensive, been finding deals on Futurama so got those instead. Saw this on Amazon's Gold Box and was wondering if someone here posted about it, ha duhh.

meh, i caved... i like the collector packaging. And I also like the fact it has the two full length movies in addition.

Alright, I'm done buying Family Guy until they finish the show!

So tired of buying their different versions, only to get trumped by a better, cheaper one.

Seriously, this show is popular. Just wait till the whole series is on Blu-Ray in a 1-inch thick box.

You guys really think it'll go Blu-Ray? I don't even think it's necessary.. but if it were a good deal then yeah, and I guess smaller packaging would be nice, but oh well. Target usually has great BF deals on dvd's, so I'll wait for it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, why is paid day just one day away!!!!!!! Haven't bought any family guys dvd's, been holding out on a complete(well up to date I guess) set
...this is it. Sign up for BillMeLater, use code BMLSAVES, get it for $50, and pay it off tomorrow
my credit sucks, thanxs though

already spent way too much money this month but I can probably sell it for $100 if i hate it for some reason
just talk to my friend and she brought the Freakin Party pack for $60 back in June amazon. The only improvement this version has is the blue harvest but missing the extra ping pong paddle and poker chip

http://www.amazon.com/Family-Guy-Fr...rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=413864101&pf_rd_i=B001DDBD0Y
And it is missing Volume 6. The Freakin Sweet Party Pack (followup to the Freakin Party Pack) is the one with the same exact content (even Blue Harvest) but without the Stewie Head and the addition of the Pingpong set and poker set.
How can you have a "complete collection" of a show that's still running?
EXACTLY...waste of $$ if your actually looking for the "complete collection",but not a bad deal if you just want the episodes that set has and don't mind buying the following seasons separately....

I've been a pretty big Family Guy fan for a while, never bought any of the seasons though so I jumped on this yesterday, I think I'll sit the head on top of my DVD shelf.

This set turned out to be great! The stewie head is about 6" deep and 12" wide or so. You pull the head up and inside is a DVD holder with the family guy DVDs all in standard keep cases!

Fits on my DVD shelf and looks creepy as hell!

So kinda like the Halo Helmet Case.

Exactly like that, actually, except it holds like 10 cases instead of 3.

it'd be nice/a good idea if it had more than 10 spots for dvds for future season. Ya know, like how anime dvd sets do when you buy vol. 1
Friend of Sonic:

I'm pretty sure they DO have Volume 6 in this collection, as it's named in every product description. Why do you think that it doesn't?

I'm pretty sure he was refering to the party pack, if you read it again after he qouted 'whoever', his comment makes more sense.

Ordered one on a gift card that had $2.xx cause I knew it wouldn't work; then replaced order the next day when I got paid. HAHA, I'll have to remember that trick and keep this giftcard around.
