The price was raised since I assume it's now going through a different vendor, and not Toys R Us.

so is anyone going to jump on the ds lite deal on overstock.com? i would if i could sell my ds, hopefully to a friend or cousin

so for $50 was the gameboy micro a good deal? i already have a DS, but for $50 more i could gotten another DS and mario kart. since the DS plays both GBA and DS games.

It doesn't need to protect itself because the screen is protected by the faceplates that come with it. The screen may be smaller, but it's also of higher quality and easier to read than the (original) SP's screen.

Well the Nintendogs and AC DS bundles were sold through TRU and they went in and of stock several times. But I guess in those cases there weren't other vendors to sell them so it didn't bump back up to (near) retail in the interim.

The ones being sold for $94.99 are from "J&R Music and Computer World". You know, I really hate this multiple vendor shit. If Amazon sells it, it should be from fucking Amazon.

But I'm kind of "meh" on missing this deal. I regretted not picking one up, but it is hardly the deal of the year (the Nintendogs DS bundle, on the other hand...). It would have been the 3rd gaming option for my kids while traveling (after DS and the GBA SP)
 
damn after wathcing videos of the DS lite, th screen is so much better. how much trade in value are some stores offering for the DS? i guess i'll keep it for a month and lay super mario brothers, then on launch day either trade it in or sell it...would prefer the navy blue lite than the white one though
 
I'm interested in a game, but when you buy from Toys R' Us is it considered buying from Amazon or Toys R' Us?

i.e. is it Amazon itself (like do there policies apply, return wise and shipping wise) or does it count as a third party source? Thanks.
 
Cool. I already got the shipping notice.

Also, I sent Amazon an email about my second order of games that I couldn't combine because my Micro order had already moved into the shipping phase, and the rep took off the entire shipping charge off my second order. I also asked them if I could add the free toy (Cranium Conga), and they added it, and I didn't have to pay shipping on that either.
 
Anyone else have a crazy estimated delivery date? It was already shipped but DHL is saying the estimated delivery is May 25th! I don't see how it could take 2 weeks from when it is shipped to get delivered.
 
Silver edition is also back in stock, with free shipping. Though I suppose for the same price most would prefer the anni .ed., I figured I'd mention it.

I emailed Amazon to see if I get could get free shipping on my order from yesterday for the black micro. Figured it couldn't hurt. We'll see what they say.
 
does anyone know if the Micro will work w/ the Gamecube-GBA connection? i really wanna play more Crystal Chronicles, but not on my crappy purple GBA.
 
Damn.. it's 95$ now. I was holding off because I wasn't sure if I wanted one or if I wanted to wait for the DS Lite... 130$ seems to be more than I want to spend on a handheld gaming system... I still don't know what I want to do but if it hits 50$ again I'll probably get it.
 
I originally ordered the Famicom one at like 3 AM last night with Cranium Conga, but then cancelled my order to get free shipping (which wouldn't work with the $20 toy deal. Lame). I woke up and didn't get a shipping notice, so I switched and got it alone for $74.99 + tax with free shipping at about 1PM. How long will it take to ship? Will it take longer because I chose to pay through a bank account?
