I don't know which Project Gotham was which because I traded in both and the receipt doesn't show enough of the title to tell which one was which, but I guess the one I got more credit for was PGR2.

Yeah they do. Many people in this thread have had it work, myself included. If they didn't bump the value then whoever rang up your stuff overrode the automatic discount.

I was going to eBay them all but the 30% pretty much gets me what I would have got on ebay. It also saves me a ton of hassel.
 
This promo has been extended until September 30th. I had a look at the new marketing for their stores and it's still listed with a new expiration date. And for non believers, the stores should have a three way poster thing hanging from the ceiling with one side stating the 10% the next with the 20% and the last with the 30%.

If you don't see it this weekend, you should see it Monday.
 
Thanks for the update. I was just coming on here to ask if anybody knew whether or not they were going to extend it.

With this news, I'd rather wait until Monday since the store manager at the GS closer to work has some serious stackibility going on. I'm not sure about the GS closer to home and I'd rather not go through the hassle if its a no go.

I still have to get me some (stacked) Halo3.
 
Does anybody have a estimate of what Tony Hawk Project 8 trades in for for the PS3 version I would love to trade it in for the 360 version instead.

Just wanted to drop a note for anyone trading in those Forza 2 and Fuzion Frnzy 2's from that Tropicana thing, Game Rush (Blockbuster) is a much better place to trade them in, even with the 30% extra.

Mine had the same thing. In lieu of an additional %, for every 3 games you trade they will give you a gift card for 10 free music downloads on their new site. The guy there did say that they may extend the extra % on Monday. I hope he is correct. I have a little over $100 w/ the bonuses.

I've never seen import games at EB/GS stores here. You could try and say you bought it at Best Buy (who sells some imports) but I think you'll get shot down.

Chances are the website won't update until tomorrow. Probably still call for some quotes today, see if I have anything worth running out to trade just in case.

This is a good deal with the right games. Trade 3 get $10 is better for games that GS pays peanuts for. This is better for games $11 and up.
