My local BB has the Helghast edition of KZ3 marked down to $69, manager told me it was specific to his store so YMMV.

EDIT: More info, just got back from the store and picked up a couple. It turns out this price was set by the physical store manager because he happened to have extras in stock, and has nothing to do with Best Buy as a corporation. So this is extremely YMMV.

EDIT 2: Looks like this deal was specific to the store in Denton, TX, which has now sold out. It's dead folks!

What eBay fees are you paying if you're buying something? None.

If people can't READ, then it's their own fault. I've done the same thing and would never screw someone out of their money if they didn't understand listing. Not to mention that no one's being suckered if they describe the situation appropriately.

If the buyer buys it and you sell it like that abd buyer reports you, you lose all your money and possibly the item as well. its like people saying "Unless if you pay for insurance I am not liable for damaged or lost shipment". WRONG. Buyers have 100% responsibility and it is up to the buyer to replace the lost / damaged item even if you clearly stated that. The buyer does not need to pay for insurance or tracking, that is all on the seller
 
All of the best buys in central MS are MSRP. This should really be in the regional deals forum :roll:

1) it's against ebay policies
2) if the item is damaged or broken, ebay will ONLY refund you for the item price, not shipping. In other words, if the item was fucked up and you ask for a refund, the seller only needs to refund the purchase price - shipping nor ebay has obligations to get the refund back to you (for shipping)

in other words, it leads to nothing but problems

You don't know the meaning of irony, do you? Whatever taking advantage of BB's "free games" is, its certainly not fraud, or cheating anyone or any company out of money. Those $135 shipping fee's are.

The more that people realize shady sellers lead to problems, the better it is. If they're going out of their way to rip of ebay, who is to say they won't also rip off you?

Purposely using a $20 off coupon for NON- sale items on a $20 SALE item...then getting 3 copies isn't cheating anyone?

Yeah...i've done that never. I've never seen a free game from BB on CAG, you got a link to one? Only "free" BB game i've ever gotten is B2G1, which is perfectly legitimate.

For awhile bestbuy was having gamer coupons that covered the entire price of the game on sale. The fine print said limit 3, so CAGS were getting 3 copies at each store they could and flipped them to GS.

Yeah, but doing a buy two get one sale, and selling one on ebay is perfectly legit. Since the only "free" games from BB are from B2G1 sales, how am I "pretending" anything with the statement:

Ok. Guess thats where the confusion came from. I was assuming "free" games was from B2G1, since that is the much more frequent source of them and only way i've ever gotten a game free from BB.

Back on topic, those shipping fee's are fraudulent, and got busted like they deserved to be. I'm no fan of e-bay, but people doing that will only make it worse for everyone

And really back on topic. I saw a Helghast mask out on display, and it did look like junk. I guess it can open up and store your game though, which would be interesting. For flippers this is an amazing deal right now, for those that just want the game for themselves, hopefully it will go the way of Halo Reach Legendary soon
 
It may be too late to make the drive, but does anybody knows if they are any left at that price, in that store?

I guess the deal is dead now since it was only at one store and all have been redeemed, I'll update the OP to save some CAGs the heartache. ;)
 
I'm willing to wait till next Black Friday for the same price or less. I learned my lesson since Halo 3 Legendary Edition. CE's will always go down in price, cuz they're not rare, unless it's an Atlus/NISA CE, than it's a tossup.

read one of the feedback on that seller. item was suppose to be 29.99 or something but he raised it after the "win" because the MSRP was higher. another nono on any auction site. defeats the meaning of an "auction"

they should focus on getting rid of "account sellers" such as those claiming to sell msp. it's even worse when an account seller has the costs in the shipping.
 
CRAP! I live 45 minutes from Denton! I woulda got this :( ... been busy all day only to see this now at 1AM.

Anyone who got in on this want to post a scan of their receipt. Would be nice if I could get a pricematch on this. It would be worth a try.
