no correct meaning not the animated feature, its a case in a slipbox, and its 3 blu rays of the movies and 3 dvd's of bonus features
 
so is it the three individual movies bundled together in separate cases or what? They didn't make the trilogy set without DC's (that I know of) so I'm interested to see what other people are getting.

I called a few days back and they just told me that its still on backorder and that the $24.98 will be refunded if they don't fulfill my order within the 60 day window.
 
Another week, another "we don't know when we're getting more in" statement.

For anyone that expects this to go on past 60 days, like myself, you need to call them before the 60 day mark and let them know that you don't want the order canceled under any circumstances. Unless you specifically tell them to not cancel the order after 60 days, it'll be auto-canceled.

Still no luck on getting the version switched out to the in-stock one with the digital copies. If you have that version, consider yourself very lucky, since the rep who I just talked to declared very clearly that that was previously done in error.

Their current prices on the version without DCs and the version with DCs is about $7, so I wish they'd just swallow their pride and fulfill it with the version they have on-hand.

No ETA on the rest of them getting fulfilled, as they said they're only getting a few at a time, without any large shipments.

Friday Sep 24th ~ 9AM Central Time. It actually arrived in the mail yesterday, never called or asked about the status. It was the version without the digital copies.

Actually received mine today, a day after getting confirmation. Set was correct and all appears to be new. Annoying wait time but a great deal and hope all you in the waiting orgy get what's coming....I mean, get your set.

got the same email yesterday and decided to call and make sure my order wasn't canceled after the 60 day mark, talked to the lady and she said that I shouldn't worry about waiting another 60 days because they have a huge order coming in and should be able to fulfill the rest of the backordered copies..so she says give it 2 weeks and it should be shipping to me (and everyone) because the huge order of copies comes in next week..good news? :applause:
 
I got mine in the mail yesterday. Family Video's packaging is crappy as usually. Thankfully, only the end of one corner was slightly nicked. Other than that, it is in perfect condition.
 
Holy crap on a cracker, mine shipped as well. No shipping email, though it's been shipped out and 2-day UPS upgrade as they promised.
 
Oh my fucking good God. My shipped too!

I was all bummed out last night when Sheldon was showing his LOTR Blu-Ray set to Eliza Dushku on The Big Bang Theory. I was like "dammit, I want the one I ordered for $25." Looks like my wish came true.

Sheldon's had the digital copies. I a good thing that I don't give a shit about those. :p
 
yeah, after everyone saying they got their notice today, i checked my bulk mail on yahoo and that's where it was. So i can join the ranks of people that are just now waiting for arrival rather than waiting for shipping notification.
