[Dead] Metal Arms 4.99 @ Best Buy is back.

I ordered my copy for the XBox back on July 2nd and have yet to receive my order. BB says they don't consider a shipment lost until after 21 days. Then I can get a refund or they will re-ship the title. My guess is the title will be long-gone and I'll be screwed by BB once again.

Yeah, I'm in the same situation. Shipped July 3rd, got the e-mail SAYING it shipped out, and it still hasn't shown up.

I think Best Buy never shipped these in the first place. Jackasses.
 
Did they provide a tracking number? You should check the tracking number before anything.

One time, I found out my neighbors stole a package from me so I walk over and demand my amazon package returned. Since they were housing illegal aliens, I told them that I was gonna call INS on their asses. That solved the problem real quick.
 
Best Buy only gives you a tracking number through their website shippment place - it's said "check back in 24 hours" for about 2 weeks now.

I bet that the reason it went back on the website was because some tool found a box with mmn's, hohndog's and my copy that never got shipped. Plus they had my 5.40-something for a few weeks. They really made out :lol:
 
Mine's still in process of being fufilled (one copy of Metal Arms). Given BestBuy's past track record, I'm not going to hold my breath on this one.
 
Heh, well at least I'm not alone in this ordeal. I thought BB was just screwing me again. Looks like they are screwing quite a few of us. I'll bet it never shows up and they give me a refund cause they won't have any stock to reship. Man I hate BB. I reluctantly ordered this game from them because I am so damn cheap knowing they have screwed me over in the past. Had to try.
 
My order for Metal Arms from the 15th is still on back order, but my order of Triple Play 2002 from the 16th has already been cancelled by them.

Same here my Triple Play 2002 was cancelled, Metal Arms still on backorder
 
Question : Has ANYONE who ordered around July 3rd gotten theirs yet?

Two people I know besides myself who ordered on the same day I did got emails saying it shipped and had the money taken from their credit cards but nobody has gotten the game yet. I called up Best Buy's customer service again and the lady claimed its USPS fault - that there's no way a mistake could've been made with Best Buy. I still find it odd that multiple people got the "IT SHIPPED!" email but haven't gotten the game yet.

She said to call back Saturday (officially 21 days from when it was "shipped") and they will either return my $5 or send me another copy of the game. I think I'll just get my $5 back since they're pretty untrustworthy when it comes to games.

I ordered one copy of Triple Play & it got cancelled. They sent no email or gave any reason why. My Metal Arms is still on backorder, but if it follows the pattern of 95% of my orders from them, they'll send an email in about a week saying it's still on backorder and tell me I have to call to extend the waiting period or it'll be cancelled as well.

I hate BestBuy.com. I don't know why I keep trying to get in on these "deals."
 
I got an email about Triple Play being backordered but nothing about it being cancelled yet. They claim it'll be ready to ship on the 24th.
 
i ordered on july 2nd and still haven't gotten mine, even though it has been reportedly shipped. i think some or all of us are in the same boat as i have called too and they said they consider it lost if it hasn't been received in 21 days BS. most likely our orders were never shipped because they didn't have enough copies of the game. i don't think i'll be ordering from them again unless they have a great deal on something i want.

I disagree . . . this is a very fun and immersive game.

Always a matter of taste, but I think is this one of the best "sleepers" in years.

If you liked the Ratchet and Clank games, you will likely dig this one.

Did you look at the USPS tracking number? If it shipped it will show it's initial shipping date (should be from Ohio) and a final shipping location when it has been delivered (or if). I just got my triple play 2002 in the mail took like 3 days. They do ship media mail so remember that's ground transportation from Ohio which can take upto 3 weeks to arrive.
 
I ordered my 2 copies of Metal Arms very late on the night of July 15. I just received them today, the 22nd. I was expecting two months before I got them, so one week is A-OK with me. Good luck, everyone else.

And if I click the link through Best Buy's "It's been shipped" e-mail I only get "your order has left the fulfillment center - please check back in 24 hours for more info". I've checked back in 24 hours for 2 weeks now, still no new info.
 
I think I'm also out of luck on this one. I ordered it back on 7/2. It shows as shipped on 7/3. It hasn't shown up (I've probably placed at least 15-20 orders with them and have never had a problem). When I click on the tracking info, I get:

I emailed customer service, and got a form email saying to wait until 7/24 to claim it as missing. :(
 
They must determine who gets backordered items by some kind of lottery. Triple Play was cancelled for me. I got in on the recent Metal Arms backorder and as of yesterday, my order is in process of being filled. I'm not betting that I'm getting it, but all this runaround really sucks.
I'll probably have to post tomorrow that it got cancelled.

Same thing here. Mine "shipped" on 7/3.
 
Is this deal online only? I went to B&M in sacramento BB today and it rang up 19.99 sticker price. I was disappointed. Then on the way home a fucking drill bit (those huge mother fuckers that are used to put holes in the fucking ground) fell off a truck in front of my car on the freeway. Narrowly dodged it. So I came home pissed.
