[Dead] More random Overstockage - 2 Dolla Deals

I wouldn't be concerned about it, back when overstock got started they had killer deals like this a lot more often, off the top of my head the best was the Tenchi Muyo Ova dvd set for 9.99, thing was retailing for 80 or so if I remember correctly, probably more knowing Pioneer's pricing scheme at the time. They had it for 9.99 multiple times and honored it each time.
Man I'm not even gonna try on this one. Way too late, I was writing a paper and checking the site here and there, played some X-Men Legends and came back to this shit. Too crazy. I'd guess more of the DVD orders would go through than the game ones. How many copies of Amplitude could they have?! I already have it and even though I'd like a copy for a friend, I'm already doubtful with everyone picking up multiple copies. Good luck to everyone on their orders though :whistle2:D
There's always the never ending source of amlitude

Well why is amp not going out of stock surprising , the game was never super popular to begin with , had to be sitting on a huge stockpile by now.

Actually, I think The TRU sale Trumped both.

HOW??
The TRU sale had about 5-6 games that were actually good deals, the rest of games were still overpriced and sucked.

The CC sale had at least 20 games that were good, and every single one of them was at least the same price or less then the TRU price.
Nope, for me, it was all tRU. My CC's were picked clean within hours by peple grabbing stacks of games. at my Tru, I got Rez, FM3, Arc Collection, MVC2 for Xbox, Metal Arms, FF tactics, Vexx, Red Faction 2, and several other games I wanted. The higher price dterred many Ebayers making it better.

So here's a question. How did all of these deals show up this late at night? And how do more and more deals keep showing up? Are there Overstock employees updating at 1am?
There's always the never ending source of amlitude
I just had a thought: they obviously have created a rift in the space-time continuum through which they are mining free copies of Amplitude. Or it could just be that it is now Tuesday and I have lost my mind.

Why can't they be doing this for games like Rez, Disgea and La Pucelle Tactics?

Maybe they thought Amplitude was like the next Halo, Final Fantasy, Mario, Sonic, Grand Theft Auto, etc. So they ordered more lol.
they accept paypal? omg woot!
They do, but they will give you store credit back if they cancel it. I used virtual credit card. Better be safe than buy overpriced stuff on Overstock.com later.

Ohhhh, see I'm not talking about what you actually got. I was just talking about what was available in theory at both places.

If you go by what everyone actually got then it's a total crapshoot. In theory just looking at the lists CC blows TRU to shit.

Oh, yeah. Sorry, signals were mixed up there :D

In the very unlikely chance I get all of my amp's i will probably be burning them for heat this winter because I wont be able to afford heat because I've spent so much damn money in the past 2 weeks
Anybody else see this?
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?PAGE=PROFRAME&PROD_ID=888722
That's a good deal if it comes with the dance pad. I think they might just be using a stock photo for an item not available here though since the writing on the package is French. They released a bundle with the pad and the game for the PS1 version of the game in the US but I don't think they released a bundle for the PS2 version in the US. And since the description says the dance pad is sold seperatly, I think it might just be game only
They must have great employees updating this late or early in the morning or monkeys
Maybe they ran out of money and decided to hire their spokeswoman. Kill 2 birds with 2 stone

Is it even possible that Overstock will honor these? If people didn't buy 200 copies of each game, there might have been a chance.

No games for me...but I did pick up some cheapo DVDs. A few decent titles and a few "why not" titles. If we're lucky, all of our orders will go through and maybe they will continue to add more titles here and there.
I'm unfamiliar with the "FW" that people were talking about earlier, what is it?
Fatwallet.com. Picture someone ripping off a deal someone posted here, and then posting it on their forum where soon after hoarders are all over it like a fat woman on a plate of meat loaf.

Fat Wallet

EDIT: RF beat me to it. Oh well...
I'm unfamiliar with the "FW" that people were talking about earlier, what is it?
I think it's FatWalletdotcum. :)

FatWallet.com, it's a deal website that has way too many people on the site for it's own good. It used to be good 2 1/2 years ago but there are so many people on the site, once a deal is posted, it gets killed by everyone from Fat Wallet
I'm unfamiliar with the "FW" that people were talking about earlier, what is it?
FW = FatWallet.com

They have a nasty tendency to pump deals from this site to theirs, occasionally give credit for it, and ruin it without question, since they tend to buy the stuff to eBay it or the like.

I'm unfamiliar with the "FW" that people were talking about earlier, what is it?
Fat Wallet
Thank you. I know what that is but didn't put 2 and 2 together. Must have been the 2 dollar fever!

FW = Fatwallet.com site similiar to CAG cept they post everything not just games dont go there unless you want to spend alot of money i've bought alot of stuff I did not need just because it was so cheap LOL!!

And those movies might be good trade bait as I hear Blockbuster is doing 8$ for movies soon.
finally amp is the only 2.00 game showing up
Not for me, still all the usual suspects for $2.
