If I start a new game does the pictures I take restart as well? Like if I took a picture of a survivor...is it still there? I would hate to have to take pics of all the Pychos and such again.

I've had fun playing this game from the start again. I've done everything much quicker, and I've watched a lot of the cutscenes again and enjoyed them.

Good. I just beat the Motorcycle chick and im at level 15 or so. Not sure if I want to start over or not.

I think I'm screwed...

I'm at the point in the scoop missions where I had to go get medicine and fight the grocery store psycho. I did that, then saved. I returned the meds to the woman back at base, and was told the scoop was completed. Next scoop starts at 11:00. Then I'm immediately told scoop missed for the remainders and I get the chance to continue or retry. The only other mission I had open was the machete dude, so I reload and fight him. I run back and get the psycho cult cut scene, then run like hell to a save cause I'm almost dead. I save then return the meds, and the same fucking thing happens again. Scoop 2-4 or whatever is done, next scoop starts at 11:00. Then scoop missed and I'm fucked immediately after a save.

Can someone tell me what I did wrong, or is it just the stupid fucking save system? I'm faced with replaying the game or missing out on the scoops and waiting out the 72 hours....

Worst. Save System. Ever.

I thought if you saved and turned off the game you had to restart all over, but I played and got to day 2 and then just shut the system off last night. Today when I woke up it let me continue day 2. So you can save it and go to sleep and continue?

a question, I went through the entire 72hrs. but didn't do anything but explore and kill zombies. I got an ending and then restarted when it asked me to. I had around 5500 zombie kills. when I saved and restarted my zombie kill count was set at 0. does this mean I lost my previous kills? my level is still the same as it was when the game ended however.

Okay so I was in the Toybox throwing novelty masks of zombies. Next thing I know I am have to many around me and get in a little shoveling match. Pop the novelty bear mask ends up on my character. I have it paused right now and plan on trying to take a picture before I kill myself. I can't find anyway to get the damn thing off...

Has this happened to anyone else?

Are you sure you just didn't change clothes into the mask? Try changing your clothes somewhere or going to the return spot in that store.

Masks and hats stay on if you change clothes, I think. Try to find a hat store.. it'll replace the one on your head.

There's a "return clothes" option in each bathroom at the sink. Try that. Maybe that's what it does, because it sure as hell doesn't do anything else.

Thanks. When I went back into the store I noticed there was a return clothes option right where I was with the zombies. I didn't realize you could put the mask on yourself and thought it was a fluke.

There are boxes under the stairs to the helipad in the Security Room. It restores Frank to his original outfit.

Also if you need a new "hat", theres quite a few in the dumpsters in the North area, and you can get a samurai styled haircut (that overrides masks/hats) at the Sword shop.

Ok, what the fuck, I go through all the hassle of killing Cletus in the gun store just to have him replaced by 3 assholes whom I can't do a thing against?!?! As soon as I step foot in the store they open up on me with a machine gun and he keeps staggering around the whole time unable to get back out. I tried standing outside and taking shots at them and killed one but got a little too close to the door and the opened up on me.

I rolled out of the store, and the one guy talked to me. I went in and talked to him, and they wanted a pic of the escape vent. Be warned though, if one zombie walks in while talking to them they will get paranoid and open fire on you again.

Yeah I figured out how to talk to them but damn, the phrase "no sudden movements" definetly applies here.
The collecting bombs mission sucks.
Somehow i did this on the 1st try, and farmed 500 zombies in the process :applause:

Off to find the Butcher now, any pre advice?

The only nice thing is not only are they easy to escort (because they open fire like crazy on zombies) but you also get a ton of PP points for saving all 3...I actually went up 2 levels.

hide behind the meat when he goes to toss one.

Yeah you ain't kidding. Plus, now I finally have access to my gun store again.

Really? That's one of the few missions I've been able to get on the first try.

The bomb mission is easy if you take out the person trying to run you over (tryin to be spoiler free).

Right now im stuck on the fight with Brock. Guy blocks everything (including my spamming of the double lariat on the lower part of the tank), then puts me in the chokehold and i lose 8 bars of health...

I managed to get him stuck in a certain area in his truck and then just swung the katana through the driver's side door. "Killed" him right quick.

Apologies if this is already known, but i've been hanging out on this one stretch of land off of the food court (I think) where the hardware store and gym are.. racked up nearly a thousand zombie kills here in like 20-25 minutes but that's besides the point..

If you go in the gym and hit the punching bags with something like the weights (or just ride a bike through them), you get 2,000 PP for each destroyed bag.. so 2,000 x 4 bags = 8,000 PP, then you get a 10,000 bonus for destroying all four, so 18,000 PP for about five seconds worth of work. Just found it out.

Well just beat it and got ending D. I knew i should've just hid somewhere for 12 hours, but didn't expect to get captured either. Then that move L back and forth wasn't working for me, and i got 25 hits to the face, and ran out of time.

Kinda disappointed, but done is done. I want infinite mode though. Now just have to find the desire to do it all again, or have some friends play for me :)

So I ran across two survivors hanging on for dear life on top of a huge inflatable thing with tons and tons of zombies around them.. I mean tons, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say there was about 250 in a small circle.. so I ran up, grabbed Adam's chainsaw, refilled my health and jumped in there.. got 100 zombie kills in under 20 seconds, there was so much blood flying the 360 was slowing down, it was unfrigginbelievable, so awesome. I haven't done any case missions.. I think I'm level 6, i'm just killing things (and Adam).. I've killed about 1,850 zombies so far.. need more kills!

Finished it, got the A ending. It really wasn't that hard actually. I kept thinking it would be difficult to unlock overtime mode but guess not. Now to tackle overtime mode but with all the special forces hangin' out, it ain't gonna be easy.

Get on the lower part of the tank (Brock should stay on the turret part) and use the double lariat move. He'll block it or occasionally kick but he can't grab you from there. If he does get down to your level, run away and repeat.

I finally got the Karate Champ achievement. Apparently the game doesn't consider using the Hammer Throw or Giant Swing (to throw a zombie into a crowd) as a barehanded kill. I can't be 100% sure, but I don't think it considers disemboweling as a barehanded kill. I ended up about about 1500 kills instead of the required 1000.

i'm working on the 54k+ kill achievement to earn the Mega Buster, i'm about half way done and it took about 1 hr 30 min. now just 1 hr 30 min more to go {=\ .

and after that i plan on getting the Laser Saber, but i don't know if i want to for sure cause it will take 8 hours to do so [ 5 in game days ].

I saw that too. I don't think it showed up as a scoop, maybe it does and I fucked up and missed a call or something. I got 6,000-ish points for taking just one picture with the girl hanging there and all the zombies underneath. DRAMA!!11SHIFTONE.

Well, I will join the carnage tonight. I picked up the game yesterday, but did not get a chance to play. I enjoyed the demo, so I'm excited to start. Just have to get the save system down from the sounds of it.

I don't really have a problem with the save system. I just have a problem with the survivors being stupid as shit!! The asian tourists suck the most from what I've played. It's partly my fault for trying to help too many at one time but they are really stupid.

Finished it yesterday and unlocked overtime mode and I love it! This game is so much fun and so much chaos. I tried ovetime but it is damn hard with all the special forces agents. I think I going to play through again and level up some more and try to save more people .

Does anyone know that if I decide to start over and finish the game without solving the case files, can access overtime mode afterword since I unlocked it?

This is what I was waiting for for 360 and it did not disappoint one bit. Fantastic game!
Im guessing that since the kill count resets when you start another 72 hour mode, your numbers as far as distance traveled, bullets fired, etc. are reset as well?

I met the requirements Gamefaqs has listed for Overtime mode, but the only mode i could choose was 72 hour mode. So im gonna do that again to try and get the cases done.
Look at the achievements, if they say "Type 1" you have to do it in one game, the other type is cumulative

I'm really kicking myself over that incident because now I realize that I could've gotten like two achievements with the picture, then the achievement where you get 50 or more zombies in one shot.. I saw that and all I thought was "hell yeah, chainsaw time!".. oh well, maybe on the next run-through.

Later on in the same area, there is another survivor I came across where I wasn't notfied. I wonder if there are any more?

Brock is the boss of the Overtime mode. You gotta melee fight him on top of a tank surrounded by hundreds of zombies (and yes he likes to knock you off).

I found the best way to rack up zombie kills was to either drive through the tunnels (beware of carts/propane tanks) or drive around in circles in the main outside area using the convict's jeep. I got 1,000 kills in a couple minutes.

I think it's bc Otis is gone by then so he can't call you

About Zombie genocide - in the basement of Paradise Plaza there's a car right there, what I'm doing (at 40k now but had to goto work) is I just drive in a circle til the car is about to blow, then drive back to Paradise Plaza, get in the elevator and take it up, then back down and the car is there again and repeat. Took an hour to get the first 40k since you don't have to travel at all to get a new car only a few steps.
