Dead Space 2 CE is currently $24.99 at Best Buy. But if have the Shopkick app, either for Android or iPhone, under the Deals tab of Best Buy Mobile is a $5 reward certificate. Available today only, but expires 7/20 once retrieved.

You can also use that $5 for other things too...

I was ticked because I felt lied to, which in turn led me to miss out. Hitting the streets during the heatwave in NYC didn't help with the frustration either. I understand that it will get cheap again, and now the waiting process starts again as well as the risk that they run out.

If I didn't try for this deal, then I have no right to be ticked. But I genuinely tried. Oh well. Life goes on. Can't win 'em all right?

It's still a "sell priced item." The sell price is merely $15-20 higher now. He can buy it at the store's current sell price if he wants it that badly.

Is $40 + $10 credit on day 1 the same as $30 10-12 months later? If you buy on day 1 you'll have the best chance of getting high TIV value. I buy most games day 1 as long as there's a $10-$25 credit or offer that gets another game 50% or more off. But w/BB I always take advantage of price adjustments on the back end. Most games drop to $40 in a month so grab the credit upfront at full price then pm on the back end get the best of both worlds. If your done with the game there's so many deals now that'll net you $30+ trade in so you wind up only really paying $10-$20 for a day 1 game.
