Yes goku they had both versions. "gamer specialist eddie" said that they have been back there. Thanks for providing details to mrsilkunderwear.

I was ticked because I felt lied to, which in turn led me to miss out. Hitting the streets during the heatwave in NYC didn't help with the frustration either. I understand that it will get cheap again, and now the waiting process starts again as well as the risk that they run out.

If I didn't try for this deal, then I have no right to be ticked. But I genuinely tried. Oh well. Life goes on. Can't win 'em all right?
he went looking everywhere for a sell priced item. . .
It's still a "sell priced item." The sell price is merely $15-20 higher now. He can buy it at the store's current sell price if he wants it that badly.
Man, Dead Space 2 being on sale and lowered price now and earlier, I regret buying it when it came out. Usually you want to buy a game asap because you wanna play it asap... thing is.. I haven't even started on Dead Space 2... so that was a waste, $75 for the CE and then the game alone drops to $40 after 3 months of being out or something like that... bleh.

I was new to all this, barely got my PS3 in Oct. and pre-ordered Dead Space 2 in Nov after I beat the first one. But now I know. I gotta learn what kind of games tend to price drop so soon, it seems some games price drop right away and others never drop even a year later or even two years later maybe being $10 price drop at best.
It all depends on how you look at it & what "value" a game has to you. Is $40 + $10 credit on day 1 the same as $30 10-12 months later? If you buy on day 1 you'll have the best chance of getting high TIV value. I buy most games day 1 as long as there's a $10-$25 credit or offer that gets another game 50% or more off. But w/BB I always take advantage of price adjustments on the back end. Most games drop to $40 in a month so grab the credit upfront at full price then pm on the back end get the best of both worlds. If your done with the game there's so many deals now that'll net you $30+ trade in so you wind up only really paying $10-$20 for a day 1 game.

while i understand what you're saying, the fact that you trade in the game means you lose it- permanently, making your logic a $10-$20 rental as compared to a purchase. now, if u stopped at pm'ing and kept the game, then yeah i'd agree with you.
It all depends on how you look at it & what "value" a game has to you.
