Dead Space (360) - $10 - Wal-Mart

I went to Wal-Mart this morning and Dead Space scanned at $10.00 (even though it was advertised as $19.96). Online shows $19.96 but in the stores it should be $10.00 even. I don't think this is YMMV. Cool deal for one of the top 25 games of all time for xbox 360 according to IGN.COM

GTA4 and Dead Space must not be well liked in my area of the country cos I was just at walmart about an hour ago and picked up both and there were several more of each game. The one thing I did want but couldn't find though was the $2 copy of Hellboy 2.
 
Good call on Dead Space. I almost passed on this deal since I had the game when it first came out. I figured for $10, it's worth adding back into the collection. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the new re-release of Midnight Club 3 and Transformers (mindless thrills) for $10. Also scored a Red Alert 3 for $7 and Coraline BD for $10.

All painless too and after the morning/afternoon rush.
 
I had no interest in dealing with the horde, but went tonight and was able to find some decent stuff hassle free (Midnight Club LA, Full Metal Jacket BD).

Saw Dead Space (360) and GTA IV (PS3) as well. Such a good deal at $10 makes me wish I didn't already have them.

Midnight Club was behind the glass case but the rest was in shopping carts. The Ad says "all day Friday", wondering if all the remaining games and movies with Promo stickers will go back up tomorrow or if they will just sell them at the current price.

I was visiting relatives in a little town in central Minnesota. I was intrigued by the $10 deals but figured there wouldn't be anything left since I wasn't going to be a doorbuster. I wandered into the store around 7:15 AM and saw Dead Space for $10 which I grabbed . . .

But then - I came across THEIR electronics section which had a whole shelf full of stuff. At first I saw the typical MLB2K7 stuff, meh. However, upon further inspection, I saw Batman:AA, Fight Night 4, Marvel UA2, NHL2K10 and several other $60 titles all priced for $10.

I snagged a few copies of each, sold most of them back to Toys R Us for $25 credit each and finished shopping for my own kids for next to nothing (I still had my CODMW2 credit as well).

If I would have had the time/extra money I think I could have gone bonkers with this . . . Did anyone else come across this deal? It feels like someone screwed up the pricing, but it is Wallyworld, so who knows.

I've learned to have no expectations of competence when it comes to Walmart. I went in to see what was left around noon today and ended up grabbing The Godfather 2 ($10) and Star Wars The Force Unleashed (marked down to $20 but not really part of the sale). Then during the course of fumbling around with the useless warranty popup on the scanner, the register clerk accidentally voided the sale of Star Wars without knowing it. I got both games for ten bucks as a result. Not as ridiculous as what you found, but it's always nice when their idiocy comes out in your favor.
 
My Walmart had zero ten dollar games! Argh!!! The electronics dude who'd been working all day said he never saw them. How lame.
 
I went to WM at around 5:30 pm and managed to find UFC Undisputed 09 and Dead Space. At first, I searched through a couple carts and didn't find anything. Then I looked through a DVD stand that was next to the women's panty section and I found UFC and NBA 2k10. Looks like someone at this WM is used to hiding clearance games at Target. :D

I found Dead Space in another shopping cart that they had just brought out. I also saw and passed on COD4 GOTY, LOTR: Conquest, Dragon Quest VIII and Bakugan.
 
Nothing at the Brooklyn Ohio Walmart this morning. Didn't expect anything but I had a return and figured I'd take a look. Would have liked Dead Space but oh well.

I thought the unemployment rate was 10.2% :lol:. I went to Best Buy and Target later in the day and tons of people were grabbing all Blu's that were $12 or less. We need 4 Black Friday's during the year and the economy will recover.

Now lets see how many homes go on foreclosure during the next 3 months because people maxed out their credit card on black friday. Then see Fox News blame Obama for not doing anything about the economy :lol:

see im a crazy mofo i was walking around wal mart from 10pm thursday night all the way to 5am and i was standing right in front of all the games while they were unwrapping the pallets and nobody were grabbing any so i got every game for 360 without a hassle!

Got me. That's how it scanned and the price I paid. I expected $11.50 since that's what most others reported.
 
On a different note.... if anyone got an extra Dead Space for the 360 please CML or just PM me with a price, if it's reasonable.

Check your targets.. it should still be 13.98 if they still have one around. Target has good inventory systems. Every time I've gone to a store to check for a game and they don't have it, they can look and see if other stores nearby have it. The two times I've done it the other stores have had it there.

I got BD Coraline for $10 too. Last one, but it had the sticker on it like the rest of the $10 BDs.
 
got godfather 2 just now and a dead space for one lucky cag!!! who wants it?? the wal mart i went 2 today had like6 ps3 bundles left!!!! wtf!!! i waited at the other wal mart all morning to get mine!!!
 
Dead Space rang up at $30 for me. Some lady complained and got it for the price and the awesome manager told me "uh it thirty dolla". Awesome! :roll:
 
This sale is over. Checked a Walmart that I know had these prices yesterday and everything was ringing up at normal price.
 
Yeah, I went to Wal-Mart last night and scanned a few sale items, all of which came up regular price now. The 49.00 DVD player was back to 80 bucks.
 
Was just at my dirty old Walmart and the last copy of dead space that they had came up 19.96 or something but not ten. Didn't find any more gta4 for 360 either
