EDIT: Must be logged into your Amazon account to have the coupon show up.

Saw this at SD and thought it was worth mentioning. Still a long time before it releases (4/12/11) and it's possible it'll be cheaper but this is still a pretty good deal.

On the product page there is a button that says "clip this coupon" it'll take off $8 dropping it down to 21.99 shipped

Sweet, the kids and I really enjoyed the movie (but we didn't get a chance to see in 3D). Thanks for the heads up OP, preordered!

Pretty much guaranteed to drop a couple of dollars before release, so we'll probably see this down to $27.99 (or maybe cheaper) by release.

If this goes like the past coupons we've had (Bambi, Secretariat), they'll change the coupon terms so that you only get the coupon discount when you buy another item.
Did they take the coupon down or something?
still shows up for me. I believe once you order, it disappears though.

Hm, good call. I'm not interesting in paying $21.99 for this, but I'll throw in a pre-order now on speculation that there will likely be a price drop before it actually comes out. If there's not, I can always cancel.

Also, interesting that they're taking pre-orders on the 3D version, but they don't have the non-3D version up for pre-order yet.

Ok, just checking. Since I already pre-ordered, I won't be able to tell if the coupon disappears or not.

And unless there is a new sub $24.99 MSRP for 3D Blus that I missed, I think $21.99 is a great price and I would be surprised if the thing drops that low or lower right after release. Regular Blu 1, 2, or 3 disc sure, $19.99 or less is possible, but not 4 disc 3D just yet.

I expect Tangled to do the same, as Christmas Carol started out high in the $30+ range and then settled down to $27.99. I doubt we'll see it cheaper than $27.99, though it would depend on what Walmart.com does, as I can't see Best Buy having this cheaper than $29.99.

Regardless, I'm locked in with $8 off whatever price it is by release, and that's four months off. I can always cancel within 3 or so day before release and not have it get shipped out, if there's some better deal B&M.

Thanks! In for another 3D movie, sweet... You have to clip the coupon (clip by clicking the clip button on the product page, if you don't the $8 option will not be there at the checkout pages).

QUESTION: Is Tangle a 3D movie or sort of converted to a 3D movie? You know, How to Train Your Dragons is a 3D movie from the start...

I was just about to post this, too :) I saw the movie this evening with my wife and kids and we all absolutely loved it. It's really sweet and charming.

Big thanks! My kids loved this and I can't imagine the version that includes the 3D version to be much cheaper.

I can't find this coupon for the life of me. LOL. I'm logged in and have refreshed the page multiple times. Where exactly on the product page does the coupon show up?

I don't see it now (which might be because I've already preordered), but it was in a box under the 'This Title Has Not Yet Been Released' tag.

Yep. That's where it was. I held off on this the other day (waited to check the post Christmas budget) and "clip this coupon" is not an option now (even signed in).

Dropped down to $24.99 so those of us who got in on the $8 coupon are now getting the :br: for $16.99.

I was debating on running to the store tomorrow and use some coupons, but this is much easier...my movie shipped already too.

Just got my shipping confirmation from Amazon, and according to it, they still billed me $21.99. Guess I'm going to have to contact them.

Same.

From the thread about the coupon:
Here's a link to the T&C for the Pre-Order Price Guarantee:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/promotions/details/popup/AWT354OR7BM1U

Specifically:
If your order enters the shipping process before the release date and the price is lowered before the end of the day of the release date, we will automatically refund your credit card for the difference between the price you were charged and the release-date price. If you did not use a credit card to pay for your order, please contact Customer Service.
It's supposed to be automatic, though sometimes the refunds don't go through, nor the automatic price drops that are supposed to happen to your order 24-48 hours after the price drops on the item on the site.

I had my email get replied that the refund should automatically get done after tomorrow, and if I don't have it by Thursday, I should email them back.

I was trying to get it adjusted pre-shipment, as there wouldn't be a need to wait out the refund, though it doesn't always work like that..
If you don't have the credit auto-applied by end of the day on Thursday, email them/call them to get it fixed.

If you check the order information, it'll show credits at the bottom of the page.

I got mine today as well, along with my Eva 2.22.
I hate the amazon text when delivered though. I get a text at 11:30am it's been delivered but it came USPS at 4:30pm. Normally I get the text 3-4 hours after I receive it. Oh wells.
