(DEAD) Zero escape w/ watch back in stock on amazon

Yeah, I did a ton of research on both versions when they where released, as I own both systems and wanted to have the best experinace possible. I asked around on Gamefaqs and read the thread over at NeoGaf, and I believe the Vita version was the clear cut winner.

I won't go in to details, as they can be found elsewhere, and although the 3DS appeared to be the lead version, the Vita version appeared to be the more optimized and polished version between the two. I also read that the Vita version has bugs, but nowhere near as bad as the 3DS.

Thanks OP for this deal, as I am still selling my other watches for 70 a pop on Ebay, so I picked up a few more to flip. I have more than paid for my Vita game(although I have not played it yet), and then some.

There were a couple other threads on other boards, iirc. Everyone says it almost never happens and it should never freeze on you for anything, but the possibility of it happening is there. Although it's far more prevalent in the 3DS version.
Hmm yeah I guess it really is rare. Still, if anyone owns both handhelds the Vita is really the way to go. You can use the stylus on both touch screens so there isn't really any features missing from the Vita version. The Vita offers more save slots, better graphics and will "very rarely" get bugs. Also I don't know if the 3DS does this but when the battery is almost completely drained on the Vita and PSPgo they both turn themselves off while saving your games progress giving you some time to plug it into a charger before the battery completely dies.
I'll field this... when you get the item in your cart, put in, say 999 (see what I did there?) and then hit update quantity. It will then fill in with whatever amount is left in stock. Unless they have a purchase limit of 2 per person or something like that.

Thanks a ton for the tip.

If someone could pick one up for me ill pay +shipping and whatever else. Really want to get this for my girlfriend for Christmas.

Congrats on whomever was able to get these. I ordered a couple myself and I just need a Blue watch! If anyone wants to sell or trade let me know!

As for the game, it's my Game of the Year. Enjoy it. Oh, and Vita version is better. No game breaking bugs, better graphics, just get a capacitive stylus.

Dang, missed out. Got lucky with Persona Solid Gold and haven't played 999 yet so ours probably for the best. Congrats to the people who really wanted the watch.

Also, I was originally interested in the 3DS version for the "3D" as well, but most users said the 3D was barely noticible and a lot of areas didn't even use it. So for me, the 3D was the only real feature the 3DS had over the Vita, and since it didn't appear to be to good, I decided the Vita was the best choice. Plus for those users in regions where the game hasn't been released yet, region free can't be beat right?

The two screens are nice, but the graphics are just much crisper on Vita (naturally) Another nice thing about the Vita being region free, is the dual languages, the European version only contains the Japanese voices. A shame since this is a dub that's actually quite excellent.

This was the reason I went with the Vita version today over the 3DS. I figured the Vita version would be easier to sell closer to full retail, since it's region free and others may want to import. A big portion of my Ebay sales is international, so that's always a consideration when getting items like these.

Haven't played either version yet but I've read somewhere that the 3DS version was the better option because its touch screen controls function better than the Vita's.

I heard that before the game was released in NA/EU, but it was highly overexaggerated. I own the Vita version and its controls are great, and are equal to the 3DS if you use a capactive stylus. 3DS is nowhere near the better option, it's best to avoid it unless you only have a 3DS. The controls on it don't give much of an advantage compared to the other weaknesses.

Yeah the dub is really good. Although, whenever I hear the new Chie in Persona 4 Golden I can't help but think of Quark. With both characters having the same voice actor and all.

Haha, that's hilarious. Thank you, Mr. Narukami!

Love Phi's voice though. Perfect.

I must be the only one that didn't like the dub.. and I'm a huge fan of english dubs lol. I tried to like it, but I always went back to the japanese track, which is quite good.
Just got mine and the watch plastic cover is scratched :/ Just my luck.
there is a very thin and hard to get off plastic cover on the watch that typically comes messed up.

That's what I thought it was, but I'm honestly afraid to keep pulling it.
Blue here.

Now to decide whether or not I should sell the watch on ebay.
got a red and blue and waiting to sell them or keep them sold off the games for 33 each so figured paid 7 for each watch
It's just the color of the LED right? Bands are all the same black/ grey?

Mine's red.
Yeah, it's just the display that's different. The other parts of the watch are the same.
Mines still out for delivery. Is the watch as bad of a quality as reported.
Yeah, these are no where near as good of quality as the first ones(999), but they aren't terrible. For a free bonus item it's pretty cool, but along side the 999 watch, it's not that great.

Sweet, got a red watch... just what I wanted. Now it'll sit around and collect dust next my blue watch 3DS bundle.
Got 2 blues. Just my luck...
Well if you don't want them..... Haha. Keep getting my hopes up this is getting bumped because it was restocked. Oh well.
Got 2 blues. Just my luck...
I'm actually in the market for blue. If you want to trade for a red, I'm game. PM for eBay references and blah blah.

Yeah, my orders are coming by the "slow boat from China"! LOL So I have no idea what colors I'm getting. They aren't due to arrive until mid-late next week. Boy, I have been getting screwed this holiday with the cheap shipping options. They are taking about 2 weeks on average, WTF!? is that about? Oh well, you get what you pay for uh?
Just got mine, was a blue. Not sure if I'm going to keep or not.
Why aren't you sure? You should keep it, unless you regret your purchase.

Considering its resell value outweighs quality. I wanted the game regardless and I do like the watch but hearing more and more on the open ones that it's essentially a POS in quality.

This is weird, just got my package today, the vita version is fine but the 3ds version didn't include the watch and there isn't a return label in the package. What should i do guys? do you think I can get an exchange?

You dont need the label slip in the package and the watch bundle is OOS so I dont think you can exchange it. If you still want to return it, go to your order page to print the necessary labels.....or complain to CS for credit

Got my first one today. It was a red! The first two were green, so happy about that. The last one is coming in a different package. A blue would complete the trio.
Does the Vita version come with a manual? This is the first Vita game I have ever bought and it has no manual.
No, Vita games don't come with manuals AFAIK.

Nice! I got lucky, so my first three completes the trio.

Ah, seems I got the same problem LD_Helix had. I ordered a PSVita version, and it came with just the game, no watch.

The slip and sticker on the game says it is the version with the preorder bonus watch though, so not sure what happened.
I contacted amazon and they said they will try to get a version with the watch shipped to me for free though, so i can't really complain.

When you first click to the game screen, instead of clicking the game to start it (from the Home Menu), I think there is a book icon to see the manual...?

Sadly, instruction booklets are going the way of the DoDo. Even some Nintendo games now lack booklets, and they have had some of the best over the years. The industry is trying their best to move to all digital and one day it will be a reality, so just get used to it.

The game I got is defective, but I'm not sure if they want the watch as well if i return it. Talked to 2 amazon CS and they weren't of any help.

It's the game that's defective, not the watch. I'd say just send that in. You could always make a fuss if there's a problem if you just send that in.

Well, if you are asking for an exchange of the game alone, then I would keep the watch because I doubt they are going to have extras to replace the whole thing. If on the other hand you just want to return it with no exchange it would be dishonest for you to keep the watch.
