Nice on the new dlc. Need to get into the career mode and get some of the new shit, as well. They could have picked a better LL song, though.

Totally agree. I wish Going Back to Cali or Rock the Bells made it in instead. Hell, if they want to go the R&B way, I would rather have I Need Love.

That's actually a cool idea, bring in some stuff from the more noteworthy feuds.

No Vaseline, Hit 'Em Up (both obviously edited, but would still be cool), Pop Goes The Weasel, etc.
 
I'm not expecting much in the way of interface updates but I really hope they put some sorting on the store before the DLC quantity gets out of hand. Would be nice if they gave us some more options on the community screen as well...becoming a fan of people, setting up crews/battles, etc.

If anyone hasn't got it yet, you don't have to actually view 50 videos to get the achievement for watching community videos - you can just click into a video then B-button out while it's loading and it counts as a view.
 
Ha! I haven't looked at the chivos yet (still kinda upset that I got my buddy a few of them on his gamertag, since the game wouldn't let me log in and use mine).
 
Managed to get all the complete all timing challenges achievement. You pretty much have to put the Stage 5 one (Slow Jamz) on easy to get it, fortunately the game doesn't care what difficulty you have it on. I guess if you're fucking amazing you could get it on a higher difficulty, but between the game not being perfect at picking everything up, and me not knowing the song to begin with, I pretty much had to mutter my way through it until I managed to get the 25-in-a-row necessary to get the 3/5 rating to pass it.

I think most of the achievements in the game are not too bad...the only three rough ones I noticed are the 305 mics one (I'm assuming that 5-starring everything?), getting 2000 views on your videos (at least it's across all your videos, but it's still not likely to happen unless you are "featured"), and the getting 4 star average on a video w/ 200 rankings. Even the "hottest videos" are not ranked too highly. People just downvote stuff.

I *hate* that hamster commercial. Mostly because I hate all rodent not named Minnie or Mickey and giant ones is pretty much my nightmare. Always said I could never go on Fear Factor, not cause I couldnt eat a giant roach, but because the minute they showed a box of rats: I'm out!

Anyway, I remember being in high school when that came out and no matter who the fellas were dancing with, when the hook "Engine, engine, number nine..." was coming up, everybody would get in a big huddle rocking to the beat and completely lose it to "Pick it up, pick it up PICK IT UP!"

Last time I was in a club and it came on, there was pretty much the same reaction. ;)
 
This may be the second week in a row with no DLC...at least as of Tuesday morning there is nothing new up. That isn't a good sign. Hope this isn't dead already.

Probably not at full price unless you a really into the setlist, but it has been popping up cheaper during holiday sales. It's definitely worth 40 bucks, in my opinion.
 
Yeah. The other day I was reading over their Twitter and they're avoiding the subject, other than talking about DLC for the game in European markets (since it just came out over there). Avoiding the subject almost always means there is no good news. The only small bit of hope I have is that they're busy with the European launch so they haven't been doing any work on DLC for the US, but that's definitely a stretch.

That said, for the short time it was going, we did get some pretty awesome tracks here and there. Still worth a purchase in my opinion, if you're on the fence. I'd bank on seeing it for 30 bucks after Xmas.

EDIT - Well fuck me, just saw this on their Twitter today:

We hear you guys and we're working on it - new DLC is being added every week and we hope to have a large number of songs added in one hit very soon - watch this space!

Too bad you can't turn down the original vocals but leave the music up, it's all or nothing. Guess they aren't using the multitracks. Yet they charge the same price as a Rock Band song (just like Lips).

No DLC again this week. I harassed them on Twitter about the lack of "Christmas in Hollis" DLC. Come on guys, it's RIGHT THERE and it looks like they have an ok relationship with Run DMC since they're on-disc.
