Demo Discs

What is the best way to obtain demo discs? Not so much jampacks or magazine demos but one game specific ones. Do gamestops and eb give these out in stores? I notice a lot of different ones floating around from time to time. I picked up a Soul Calibur II Demo Disc (PS2) at TRU awhile back for $1. I am just wondering...does anyone know of any other ways of getting these? I recently got the Front Mission 4 Demo by filling out a request online but am wondering how to get others. Also does Best Buy give out demos I see ones up on ebay like this:

Thanks guys. I'm suprised more of these aren't given out in stores. I mean they are for promotion of new games right?
 
I'm still trying to trade GameCube demo discs with people -- those are the most difficult to find of all system demo discs...

Er... no... I mean "incredibly common"... yeah.... that's it...
 
Not sure if your interested. But I have years worth of Playstation 1 game featured demo's (with the carboard sleeve with cover art). They are Mostly RPG's. PSX Legaia, Square Collectors disc, Vigilante 8, Thousand Arms, PS2 Summoner 2, Front Mission 3, MANY others.

I used to do a WHOLE lot of shopping at EB, that's why I have them. There sort of collectable.
 
From time to time EB and GAMESTOP have them for free, latest one being for the new SYPHON FILTER: OMEGA STRAIN - most of my demos that I get are from SONY because I am on that GAME ADVISORY PANEL.

Thanks Manimal I grabbed a SYPHON FILTER: OMEGA STRAIN today @ EB. I guess I just need to keep my eyes peeled more for these when they come out.

I got a few Xbox ones when working at Software Ect. a year ago. Nothing great (dead To rights being the best one). They are nice to have and I wish I could get a few more for a cheap price (ie Free.) ;)

Yeah it was free. It was right on the counter. It even said 0.00 on it. I just asked the guy are these demos free? He said yep. Grabbed one.
 
I've gotten demos of Siren, Fight Night 2004, Pac-Man Vs. (full game), Beyond Good and Evil, Crash Nitro Kart and Prince of Persia from EBGames in the past. I've gotten Lucasarts Experience demo disc, Rebel Strike, Pokemon Collosseum Bonus Disc, NFL Street, Ratchet & Clank 2, Greatest Baseball Rivalries Sampler DVD and an Eyetoy video from Best Buy. Just ask the employees for free demos.
