Yeah, I'm definitely glad I got Black Hammer. I'd max that out except that I am still waiting on the Rocket Launcher. Those will be the two I spend the radiant energies on and I'd probably max the RL first. Hopefully I get one tonight. I will definitely not be upgrading multiples of each one until MUCH later. Even if I manage to get the mats for it, I'd want to save them for the Hard mode primaries.

Before this week, I didn't double (or triple) up on any weapons except for Icebreaker (and now I only have one of the 2.0 version). But this week I worked on having 3 maxed Fatebringers. For one thing, I have a ton of ascendant energy so I might as well. I was always swapping that weapon around so now I don't have to worry about it any more. I'll still have to swap my 2.0 Icebreaker, Gjallahorn, Black Hammer, etc. But at least with the Fatebringer I'll always have something if I just need to log in and jump into something without bothering with the Tower.

Yeah, a good primary goes a long way for the everyday stuff. But for raids, I would definitely move things around.

Although I did max 2 Atheon's Epilogues and almost finished maxing 2 Praedyth's Revenge, since I had a period where those were the most effective combo to use with Gjallarhorn in certain fights.

Even now, I'll still use AE during the intro and gatekeeper fights; specifically AE, Ice Breaker and Corrective Measure. That's a great set-up for tackling Minotaurs/Praetorians for when a teammate isn't around or when you need to do it solo (like center conflux defense on the gatekeepers). I'll use VoC for everything else.

I too am in need of Helium but I think it is quite easy to farm. Personally I hate farming Relic Iron more than anything. Guess I will have to take you along when I do my runs for Helium then! My route is usually pretty good too. I alternate between the Anchor of Light and Archer's Line.

EDIT: It is mostly chests but once you get the route down it gets you a lot.

I know some swear by Archer's Line, but I don't like it for laps.

I'll just check it on my way to Anchor of Light, then do laps around that whole area: starting at the Walker/Warsat event area, to the large structure with the servitor, to the next structure with a servitor, to the round structure and back to the Walker area (checking the small buildings along the way).

Really boring since events aren't too frequent but it gets you what you need.

Relic iron is actually the easiest to farm - the hollows can net you 120+ in an hour.

Yep pop a resupply code too, it's not as good as exclusion zone but you should get a healthy 12-15k an hour due to the major spawns. There are I think 5 rooms that will pretty much have a guaranteed chest every other run. Some of the relic iron spawns in weird spots though (like behind a fence) so if you miss them they may mess up your loops.

Occasionally low levels will come through since you have to scan something as part of the campaign and mess up your run as well haha

Well, the game hasn't been out that long so I don't think anyone knows for sure. But I can't imagine they would ever delete your characters as long as their servers are operational.

Summary: one new armor piece for my Warlock and I think one new one for my Hunter. One duplicate Raid weapon. No class items once again (I've only gotten 1 in 9 tries now). And not even a damn ship (1 in 8 tries so far). And of course no helm (though I still have a chance on my Titan).

Crota (who we did legit) just hates me. Like Moose last week some other people at least got 3 shards while I only get 2.

So I still have Crota to beat on my Titan if you guys are running it tomorrow or whenever. Maybe I'll get a helm - would be nice. I'll also be up for Nightfall/Weekly which is pretty easy this week. Heroic Weekly does not have void burn, unfortunately (would make it even easier).

Nightfall is Nexus with void burn. It seems like we just had that not too long ago. I ran it once and got a legendary shotgun. This game likes giving me shotguns. I have a total of 21 kills with shotguns out of my 10's of thousands of kills... And yet I have at least 4 of the increased damage DLC shotguns (1 from Raid, and 3 regular legendaries).

Maybe that's the game trying to get you to branch out. Based on my purple drops, it desperately wants me to like pulse rifles.

Well unfortunately for me I'm 1 for 2 with that first chest. Got shards and energy this time. No Exotic. So I'm still IceBreaker-less. Off the top of my head, I should be able to max out my Light of The Abyss now though.

If that is true, then the game wants me to have all the exotics since I only lack 4 (and as we know, we can't get Necrocasm yet so technically 3). I'm fine with that. But to coincide with that, the game probably doesn't want me to have sniper rifles at all

Can someone explain this multiplayer to me? I read somewhere that all levels are equal and everything is balanced in the MP, but the way I'm getting ing destroyed in one shot by ever level 30 has me kind of questioning that. How can I get better at this?

Yea I was only on because my twins are sick and were awake. Once I got them back to sleep I crashed. Guess I forgot to turn the XB1 off. lol

In the normal non-iron banner playlist, damage is normalized. Meaning Defense and Weapon damage is the same across all the guns, whether you are a level 5 or a level 30. The perks on each gun though are active so that is weapon/perk dependent. That said some of the guns hit really hard. Plan C, Pocket Infinity, pretty much any decent sniper is a one hit head shot. Found Verdict is a very dirty shotgun. I usually run my Suros when I'm playing PvP along with a sniper (depending on the map sometimes a fusion rifle) and a heavy machine gun.

If you were playing Iron Banner like with a friend as a lower level, then yeah you would probably get destroyed since Level, Damage, and Defense are not normalized.

My advice is make note of what is killing you and one of us can tell you if it is on the hard hitter weapons.

I'm definitely going digital version when it is cheaper. I bought the Ghost edition physical though so I really actually only need the vanilla to go on sale for even less than it is right now ($45). Around $25-$30 and I'll bite so I can put my disc back in the steelbook permanently.

As noob a good way for you to get acquinted with this concept and get yourself a shot kill gun is google the "gozen-f", its pretty much a 1-shot railgun.

In the first gameplay demo of Destiny, the one with the super cheesy voice acting, they kill some Fallen Archon boss in The Divide, and he drops a yellow engram. The dude gets Thunderlord from it.

We were able to hit the bridge and the next chest, but after that I got kicked to the main menu with a vulture error and was locked out from that point on. I'll be on later tonight to try again. I still need Nightfall and the weekly, too.

I tried to solo the Nightfsll with my Hunter and I got nearly all the way through but when one of the Minotaurs spawned my Truth rocket didn't take it all the way out and when I switched to my primary I must have hit the button twice and pulled up my sniper for the minotaur who was nearly on top of me. Had I gotten my Atheon's Epilogue out in time I would have had him.

So, yeah, definitely up for Nigthfall/Weekly twice tonight. I can maybe do the Crota cheese early with you guys but I have to be gone from 6:30-8:30 Pacific. I'd like to do Nightfalls after that.

At least this Nightfall is making Atheon's Epilogue and Praedyth's Revenge relevant again! And I'm glad I upgraded Truth last week (though I could use a few more damage nodes unlocked and maybe I'd be able to one-shot those minotaurs).

On the plus side, I continue to get a much higher percentage of radiant shards vs. radiant enrgy. SO if I ever do get a full set of Raid armor I ought to be able to level it up pretty quickly (though my Eris rank is like 3 days from being 4 anyway).

Last night on my 3 characters I got 9, 6, and 4 shards. And 2, 3, and 6 energy.

And I still have 2 shards/energy to go on that last character. So on every one of my 9 runs except for that very last one shards have always outnumbered energy by 2 or 3-to-1.

Wow, Moose, you weren't kidding on the Digital Guardian edition sale. It is only $67.49. I paid $79.99 for it on "sale" a few weeks ago. Oh well - at least I was able to sell my disc for close to $40 on Amazon - probably couldn't get that much for it now.

Dragon Age Inquisition Deluxe Edition is only $45. Anyone here have an opinion on whether I should get that over the regular edition for $39?

As you know if it gets screwed up it takes a long time to get everybody back in to try it again. So after the fourth attempt my friend and I were like, "We're done with this." I think after that I saw enough CAGs on and invited everybody in and we did it fairly quickly once everybody understood what was going on.

if you guys need a reason to switch back to faction rep building - there have been confirmations of faction ships dropping in care packages and they are NOT brown

Any news on which faction that is, I only do FWC on my sunbro.

They need to get new designs. Its like the same 3 ships with different wings/booster extension with a different paint job. Good to know it ain't brown though.
