Haha! I give up!
I'd say take the game for free. There are some people that would probably only pay that much for this game anyway, lol...don't worry; it's worth paying money for...$60 is debatable I suppose.I just got an email from newegg. Saying they can't fulfill my ghost edition preorder. So they are giving the standard ed for free or 50 gc
I'll admit that I don't know much about networks, but don't most people have/want a NAT2 connection? I was under the impression that NAT2 was the type of connection that was behind a routers firewall, while NAT1 means you are using an unsecured public connection and NAT3 being the one that causes all the issues. Regardless of the NAT type, that really sucks that you are unable to play the game. Hopefully you are able to find a feasible solution.Biggest waste of money I have ever spent.
Wonder if Amazon will refund me.
No point in keeping a useless ass game I cant play due to having Nat2 on internet I cant change.
Their feasile solution is them saying "you are living in an apartment or college campus that is blocking some of the ports"I'll admit that I don't know much about networks, but don't most people have/want a NAT2 connection? For the ghost edition? I doubt they're getting more... maybe you've just passed the threshold of free credit they are willing to send your way based on your buying history.. or maybe they are sick of handing of refunds for what essentially is a manufacturer issue. They were willing to burn a bridge with Nintendo when NintendoAmazon is not budging on offering me a replacement or refund for a damaged box and no mention of partial refund or credit. They must be confident they are getting more in?
It isn't BS. Because if your university/apartment is blocking the port they use, that is your problem and not Destiny/Bungie. Not every company uses the same ports for all things, it doesn't matter if you can play other games.Their feasile solution is them saying "you are living in an apartment or college campus that is blocking some of the ports"
Which is complet BS since I can play every other PS or Xbox game online without and problems.
Apparently my apartment complex headquarters is working on opening certain ports for xbl/psn specifically for Destiny. Bungie requires certain ports to be open. The ports they want open register as BiTorrent when people try to connect...no other Game has done this.It isn't BS. Doubt it, I'm sure yours is an extremely rare issue. At least you guys got the game, My Ghost Edition is missing the steelbook, which means no game, no DLC, no Expansion Packs. If you are trying to resell this item you may want to be careful.
I'm not sure if it's newegg's fault or the manufacturer. The manufacturers probably don't give a crap about newegg and just do whatever they can to make amazon and others happy. If that means shipping amazon newegg's product to make up for damaged or missing editions then that's what they will do and who cares if they make newegg mad.For limited editions newegg is the worst. They always screw people on pre-orders, but newegg often has them up longer than most, so people order and hope.
It seems as though they don't even account for inventory. They just take however many pre-orders and when they get their stuck, cut off anyone who was past the allotment.
That's shitty, and I bet no one will take you seriously if you complain, I had that happen with COD MW3 for 360 on release day. Bought it, went home, opened it up, and there was no disc, had to go back to Walmart and explain that to them. Didn't go over so well, luckily my boyfriend was in the electronics section when they went back there and we're talking shit about me, so he grabbed a manager and busted their ass. So I got another copy thankfully. At least you guys got the game, My Ghost Edition is missing the steelbook, which means no game, no DLC, no Expansion Packs. YikesAt least you guys got the game, My Ghost Edition is missing the steelbook, which means no game, no DLC, no Expansion Packs. If you are trying to resell this item you may want to be careful.
Come on... Let the Ghost bundle come back in stock. I refuse to settle for anything less!
Dude...that's harsh. You very much have cause to send a complaint to Amazon in this case. No really I mean that. No sarcasm here.At least you guys got the game, My Ghost Edition is missing the steelbook, which means no game, no DLC, no Expansion Packs. If you are trying to resell this item you may want to be careful.
so glad I dumped all of mine the prices on ebay have tanked down to 200, lol.Would anyone be interested in my undamaged Ghost Edition box? I'm not all that attached to it and I somehow ended up with one of the few without tears or cracks. Let me know if you might be interested and we can work out a price and shipping.
Better hope no one has buyers remorse, they can get their money back real easy if they do.so glad I dumped all of mine the prices on ebay have tanked down to 200, lol.
positive feedback doesn't matter. lost a case earlier this year when a buyer opened one a month after product was delivered and positive feedback left. ebay favors the buyers so much it's ridiculous.Nope all have been delivered with positive feedback left![]()
It makes it hard to return an item and receive a full refund once it has been opened.positive feedback doesn't matter. lost a case earlier this year when a buyer opened one a month after product was delivered and positive feedback left. ebay favors the buyers so much it's ridiculous.
No it doesn't. All they have to do is file "not as described"-----doesn't matter if they opened it and played it and redeemed all the DLC. You'll have to take it back and issue the refund. Period. It makes it hard to return an item and receive a full refund once it has been opened.
I guess I'm lucky I've been selling on ebay for many years and still have a 100% feedback and no complaints hereNo it doesn't. All they have to do is file "not as described"-----doesn't matter if they opened it and played it and redeemed all the DLC. You'll have to take it back and issue the refund. Period.
It's as simple as the buyer saying "game disc didn't work... want to return for refund".
This dude is pure garbageNope all have been delivered with positive feedback left![]()

I sold the ghost replica for 165, so basically got the limited editon for free.so glad I dumped all of mine the prices on ebay have tanked down to 200, lol.
That's what I plan to do with mine. Just sell the ghost and move on.I sold the ghost replica for 165, so basically got the limited editon for free.

Yes, you have been lucky, but like anything in life, it's a numbers game. I get 1 or 2 "BAD" customers a year, but I sale hundreds of items annually, so the more you sale, the more likely you'll have issues.I guess I'm lucky I've been selling on ebay for many years and still have a 100% feedback and no complaints here
I guess many of you just have bad luck![]()
I know several business owners, and clowns are part of doing business. How many disgruntled customers do you think Apple, MS, Sony, or "N" has on an annual basis? Hundreds, if not thousands.+1
Selling on eBay is hardly worth the anxiety. One scumbag buyer can ruin your hard earned reputation and accumulated savings. It's basically a 1 month free rental for them.
You sell semi-professionally on eBay, of course you can bury the scumbags as statistics. Of course the retailers can write them off as cost of doing business as well.I know several business owners, and clowns are part of doing business. How many disgruntled customers do you think Apple, MS, Sony, or "N" has on an annual basis? Hundreds, if not thousands.
The amount of stuff I sale, and the money made far outweighs the few bad apples. Once I have an issue with a buyer, I add them to my "block bidders" list, and I never deal with the same person twice. I also very accurately show any and all issues when and where I can, so I try to remove the possibilities of issues, but no matter what, I always get a few.
Thanks for the infoPSA to everyone, as a Best Buy employee on the East Coast
We are able to order the Ghost Edition for all systems through OMS (our online ordering system). They won't be eligible for in store pickup but qualify for free UPS shipping. At time of writing there are about 50 of each at our local warehouse.
