Yep, I got that today. Yesterday I got one that was from a dude who was mad because I danced at the end when I won. I just always dance, but apparently he took it personally. He was in second place, and I won on the last kill I got, so I felt like dancing. He sent me a message telling me I should show respect and not dance like I'm good. I replied back saying I just always dance when I win, to which he told me that I should join his game so he could show me that I just got lucky. The last message was me saying "I joined your game when you already had an 800 point lead and I won. I don't think I have to prove anything to you."

He didn't respond after that.

I do find it fun to respond to some of these people, because I know they're expecting me to get angry or defensive, but my go to is "Sorry I beat you so badly! If you keep practicing, you might be good enough to win someday! I believe in you!"
 
Is it just me or is the iron banner constantly getting worse day by day. First two days i had good games, getting 10 kill streaks were manageable. But day 3 and today i am constantly getting killed after i go behind a wall. Shotgun guys point blank and see no health damage. Its just really laggy for me.

With that said i got my titan helmet. Working on getting to rank 4 today with my warlock. Still should have time to rank my hunter up enough to get the chest piece and helmet i am missing. Even though i think the hunter helmet is ugly, i still want the whole set. I think i like the warlock helm the most, maybe even the full outfit too.

 
Oh I had some total rubbish games last night. Shoulder charge into someone they take no damage shotgun me then we both die being my most annoying one. Just major lag I guess. Certain players seem almost unkillable but can kill you in one second. Shotgun to the face and they take zero damage. Just the usual b.s.

I cant seem to complete the 10 kills without death or the headshot sprees this time to save my life. Usually the bounties just came naturally before. I suck in crucible with hand cannons...switched back to suros and had much better luck, just not as good as before due to the range sucking and it taking more hits to kill. I keep dying to thorn so I guess I should try that again...

For example one game I had like 4 kills and 20 deaths, the next game after our team went to orbit and rejoined I had like 13 kills but it was still buggy just not as bad...

Yeah, it was Dump-cicle City last night. 

Lag was the worst it's been since this round of IB started.  But kept on going on...

Between last night and the 2 rounds I did this morning, I'm about 60 points from rank 4 and getting that helmet :D/ and the mark .  (Actually thought the bounty I turned in this morning would do it, but nope)

As soon as I do that, I'll switch to my titan and start grinding his level.  Should hit rank 4 with my titan too, but don't think I'll have the time or energy to do so on my warlock.  Gonna need to set some time aside for glimmer farming, ya know.

Never liked the original version. Didn't like it after they "fixed" it.

And still don't like... so I've dismantled all the ones I've gotten.

I'll also add that even if you don't like it, you'll be checking off one more item on your Grimoire list.

Stayed up way too late playing IB...by 2am I was useless. I think my last game I got 1 kill and 15 deaths for a .07 Officially my worst game of all time.

Also the maps asylum and anomoly suck for my play style on control...they seem better suited to run and gun and I dont know my way around or have the speed on my titan to compete.

That game I posted above was on anomaly. At one point, I walked into point A to see 4-5 dudes just standing there and my nova bomb was ready to go. I got a couple "Holy shit, what the hell did you do?!" comments from the people I was playing with.

Then I went on a tear in rumble and got up to 90 wins, so hopefully I can finish that off this weekend and never have to play rumble again.
 
Got all three characters to level 4, bought titan helm, warlock helm, hunter helm, and need to farm glimmer to get the hunter chest to complete all iron banner armor sets! WOOT!

 
Today I welcomed the Swordbreaker in my inventory for the first time, and have nearly completed my Crota's End gear collection. All I am missing, is the stupid warlock bond.

Vault of Glass is also a harsh mistress, and has yet to give up the Fusion Rifle goods.

 
I had a frustrating time with this game last night. Kept losing Iron Banner matches even when I played well, and never could get the 1 strange coin I needed for Hard Light.
 
Yeah i got my titan and warlock both to rank 5, after rank 4 ive just been playing for IB gun drops. But managed to still rank up. My hunter is halfway to 5 and ill probably play more soon. So i should have all 3 characters to rank 5. LOL

PS. This video happened in the IB. Not only does this guy take a whole lot of machine gun ammo to the body and not lose one ounce of health, but he somehow shoots me dead while not even shooting in my direction. I swear the IB was laggy this time around. Constantly getting killed after i got the killing blow before they shot me back, or shot through a wall after i go around the corner, even many times where i point blank shoot someone with felwinters lie and they take no damage. Makes it harder to get 10 kills in a row when laggy bullshit like that is happening where people kill you during that 2-3 seconds they have before your shot registers them dead.

Yeah I had lots of point blank shotgun blasts not even register or register after I am dead. I started to do IB on my warlock for the dress but after going 4 losses in a row the team broke up and I quit IB for the day. I guess if I cash those medals in tonight they will be worth more xp...I can probably get to 3 in one night but I dont even feel like it.

I got a full set of armor on my titan now and all the IB weapons except the machine gun and fusion rifle.

Did VOG last night and got nothing I needed. Played with my Titan up until gorgon chest hoping for boots, nope. Then switched to my hunter hoping for helmet at atheon, nope. Its so hard to complete a set of armor in the freaking raid. Someone did get their 3rd fatebringer the lucky duck.

Does someone have a list of the best rolls for each IB weapon for pvp and pve? That website seems out of date or something. I've got like 45 motes to play with and want to get a better roll on my pistol and auto rifle...dont know if I should reroll the sniper or not.

I wouldn't reroll the auto rifle at all. It's bad no matter what you get on it. There was a post on reddit breaking down the best rolls for every IB weapon you might look for.
 
Just got my 100th rumble win. Last Tuesday I had 56, so over the course of the week I won a total of 44 games. Entering today, I had 92 and it took forever to get those last 8 wins, but it's finally done.

And I'm running into the grimoire glitch in my warlock where it's not registering my kills as number of kills as a warlock, but rather as number of warlocks killed. Got to 2500 and didn't get points for it, and I'm almost at 5000. So that's 15 glitched points for me, which sucks.
 
WooHoo!  Got all 3 toons up to rank 4, in Iron Banner.  Don't think I'll bother with rank 5.

Quite the feat for me considering how little PvP I've played in Destiny. My titan and warlock still haven't hit 3 on Crucible ranking and my Not-so-Fresh but still has that new car smell hunter is at 3.5 :lol:

Already bought the chest, helm and class item for my hunter, plus one sniper.  Need to glimmer farm so I can buy the chest and helm for both my titan and warlock.  Also need the class item for my warlock.  Forget the exact number, but I think I need about 45k just to buy this.

Then, if I haven't gone insane (or least don't realize I'm insane), I'll see about farming more glimmer to buy two more snipers.

Sucks that I haven't gotten my crota runs in though.  Pretty much needed 6 nights to get all my toons up to 4.  At least I'm not such a scrub at PvP anymore.  That counts for something right, right...

 
I cant imagine the number of hours you guys spent in pvp. Even if you are on a winning team getting that much xp takes hours upon hours.

Yeah those are not bad suggestions overall. It's interesting to look at the re-roll perks and combo probabilities.

I've yet to get a very good Efrideet's Spear roll for a PvP build. I'd like to get the Final Round + Armor Piercing Rounds at the minimum, but I'm running out of Motes.

Timur's Lash is probably my favorite IB weapon for use in both PvP and PvE. I ended up with Outlaw - Field Scout - Mulligan after a few tries. Mulligan is kind of 'meh' as I would've preferred Crowd Control. I also fall into the group that doesn't mind the higher recoil.

I just got a Red Hand IX last week and that has been a fun hand cannon to use w/ Spray and Play - Field Scout - Luck in the Chamber. The better rate of fire, stability & reload are great with just a slightly less impact rate and shorter range than the Timur's Lash. Next to the Fatebringer it's probably the 2nd best legendary hand cannon.

Johlder's Hammer can also be great with certain builds, probably my 2nd favorite and most used legendary machine gun. I think I have 4 of them now. I try to aim for the Counterbalance - Field Scout - Crowd Control build but having any 2 of the three is pretty good for both PvP and PvE.

I'm not a fan of Silimar's Wrath and Gheleon's Demise is alright. My Gheleon has Rodeo - Explosive/Armor Piercing Rounds - Third Eye which I think was just a stock build. It's not too terrible.

The only two I'm missing are the Rocket Launcher and Fusion Rifle. I think I missed the Iron Banner event when you could have bought either of them. I'd only want a Radegast's Fury just to play with the possible perk combos, but the small magazine is disappointing.

For me it was right around 4-6 hours per night, which is roughly how much I was grinding back when the game first launched. Of course it's been a while since I focused so damn much on the game. I really wanted that gear :)

But yeah, didn't plan on leveling my 3rd toon. Sorta just happened after I saw how fast I got thru with my titan.

I mean, it took me a little over 3 nights to up my hunter so I thought I'd need another 3 nights for my titan. Guess it just took me that long because I was running as a 31 and was still learning how to play as a hunter, as well as improving as a PvP player. My titan and warlock needed about 1.5 nights each and I was consistently knocking out all the bounties each night for those two, even Iron Wrath :bomb: .

Considering how high the buff is right now, I think you could hit 4 in just one night. The 2 matches I played this morning netted me about 155pts per win and I only had the emblem & shader. Bounties were giving over 250pts each yesterday which could be around 260 today. So getting all the bounties and winning about 15 or so matches would put you at 4 ( or close to it) I think.

I will say... I'll be glad once reset comes. Six straight days of PvP is 5 days too many for me :lol:

Last Iron Banner, I played Saturday and Sunday with buffs and reached level 4. This time, it took all week. I didn't get to play nearly as often as I wanted due to being sick, but also kept getting put into matches in progress. At least I finally got the Titan helm last night.
 
Yeah I think one character per IB is about all I can stand. I'm ok at pvp but I dont really like it, and they do IB enough that the gear will roll back around soon enough anyway.

 
Nightfall rewards, No Backup Plans with better stats than my old ones, the Arachnid Helm with better stats than my old one, and a legendary sniper, The Broken Truth that i sharded. Also found a Legendary engram that turned into a valedictorian rocket launcher that i actually had on me. But i sharded the old one and kept the new one because it had cluster bombs. So not a bad start to the week. ;)

On the downside, New Monarchy continues to shaft me hard with no shaders or ships.

Warlock - Rank 33

Hunter - Rank 17

Titan - Rank 20

70 ranks and nothing. :wall:

Did catch some other guys so we ran NF's and Heroic's back-to-back-to-back, phew.  It's Archon Priest, with rainbow burn on NF, void on Heroic.

Got another Starfire chest using my warlock (worse roll) and a MonteCarlo using my hunter (2nd one).  Titan got Chosen sniper, with Rodeo, FieldScout and Firefly.  Nothing special from the Heroic runs.

Same here. I haven't seen them in a really long time or an explanation as to why. Most likely Bungie broke something with one of their updates or they're revamping it for the HoW expansion is my guess.

 
Yeah, haven't seen them in a few weeks now.

Always thought they were more promotional than anything else.  That might be why it's been pulled.

Kinda glad they're gone since they always messed up spawns for other stuff.

Apparently silly people use self res in PVP. And even sillier people use it while playing skirmish where you get 50 points for reviving teammates.

 
Yeah. I always laugh when people use res in PvP. Nine times out of ten it's like, "thanks for the second easy kill dumbass" haha. I mean there is a good time and place to use it but I swear every Sunsinger I've run into hasn't used it properly.

 
I fully admit I'll use Fireborn with my Sunsinger a lot in Control matches. Only to regain or prevent the other team from gaining control of a zone. The best is using it to knock out a few unsuspecting players with a few scorch/melee kills and then unloading a solar/fusion grenade or two. 

I did see my fair share of Warlocks poorly choosing to resurrect during the Iron Banner. I was more than happy to take them down again especially when they would help make completing an IB bounty that much easier.  :twoguns:

Finished two Nightfalls so far and got 10 Strange Coins + 8 Ascendant Enegry. So the hunt for a Gally continues...

Finished my Nightfalls and came away with 3 legendary weapons that got dismantled. Found someone giving away the Gorgon chest on Reddit afterwards and ended up with 9 shards and 9 energy. I think I am going to just have to pretend that I don't have a Hawkmoon and that I am really playing on Xbox. That way I can pretend I have a complete exotic collection instead of praying to RNGesus for Monte Carlo and 4th Horsemen.

 
I feel like such a fool. Being tired, sick, and medicated yesterday, I forgot all about the reset and raids. Only got on PSN to watch 1 hour of Netflix and later to download the PS Plus games. It was only when I downloaded the Plus games just before bed that I noticed 4 of you doing Crota's End.

We might do VOG tonight, so if you see us on and there is room for more then jump in. Lately we have been running with 4 people, at least for crota. With VOG its a littler harder to do it with only 4 people.

For sunsinger, sometimes i use radiant skin when i get heavy machine gun ammo so i have the upper hand in battle. It does help a bit, i remember i survived two bad rocket launcher shots at me using it. I feel like thats a good use of it. The nade throwing animation is so slow that if i just try to use radiant skin and throw nades im dead before i can throw my 3rd nade. I may get a melee kill but again, the recharge of the melee is so slow im lucky if i can survive long enough to get two melee kills.

 
yay got a legendary Rocket with grenade and horseshoes/spray & play from NF yesturday. Love those for PvP, too bad no field scout btu saves me the troule of trying for another radegast. 

 
Here is a new clip i uploaded. It was during the Iron Banner. I had my fusion grenades with the burn perk, and enemies who are burned, burn longer perk. So i ended up getting 4 kills with only one fusion grenade. ;)

So my total haul from 3 NFs & Weeklies: 49 Strange Coins, 8 Energy & 1 legendary chest engram (sharded). What a strange week. No exotic drops which was pretty disappointing. I guess I'll be loading up on Heavy ammo when Xur arrives.

I just watched a little of the Prison of Elders Twitch stream and... Damn! It looks harder and better than I thought it would. Can't wait.

Damn. Id rather have almost 50 coins than a few shards anyway...unless I can finally get a darn ballerhorn. Maybe I'll run nightfalls after the raids tonight. Signed up for that site...seems like a cool way to organize/schedule games.
