Don't remember the part about carrying more marks, but I do remember reading that they were fixing the rewards per match. It would line up more consistently with how you did during the match.

.That's a good idea. Damn, I just turned in my latest Invective bounty last night so I could break it down. Although I'm curious to find out how difficult the upgrade process will be. I thought all existing and new exotics would receive an added node to reach 365 and you'd have to use some new shard/mat or something to complete it. If that's the case I guess holding on to an exotic bounty isn't necessary. I could be misinformed though.
Exotics in your inventory would absolutely need to go thru the Ascend process, to hit the new max level.
If its like when TDB hit you'll get the exotic with the new damage when you finish the bounty. I got my thorn bounty before the TDB but finished it after TDB released and got upgraded damage.

That really stinks, but looking at the cost it is pretty cheap to ascend a 300/331 maxed weapon so not that big of a deal. I am holding finished exotics mainly because I do not have vault space at this point. It is probably time to go through everything and make some room.
As far as getting triplets of weapons, I'd go:
Solid suggestions, though some of us are still waiting for Truth #1 to drop. Only disagreement is Corrective Measure, I do not understand why that gun gets as much love as it does. Maybe because it's a void HMG with high mag cap? IDK, I use Against All Odds or Harm's Way w/ similar rolls.
CM has a crazy high Stability to go along with that high rate of fire. Plus it can carry 200 rounds with 58 per mag at those settings.
Right, but to me it becomes less impressive when you consider that the high ammo cap is compensating for the mediocre damage output. You are 100% correct that it's a solid package to use when held against the RNG-centric perk rolling on TOP of getting an alternative to drop in the first place.

Yea, I agree with most of those choices I'd also suggest keeping a Suros too since that is my go-to crucible weapon, Red Death as well. Swordbreaker for thron bounty. Jeez we haven't even hit on the other Crota Primaries or Black Hammer. And then the Iron Banner weapons as well. Yikes, just too many weapons for the vault space we have. I'm not a microtransaction guy but I'd pay for more vault space, lol.

You're not along totallyjem, I still haven't had a fatebringer or gjally drop (among other things) and have around 630 hours in (that I'll admit to). I actually haven't received an exotic weapon drop in 3 weeks. I must have an RNG curse because the only thing I received from my first full LFG VoG hard run (finally!) was the ship, the Warlock helm and mats (no weapons). The Gorgon chest this week only dropped mats for my other two characters as well.
