Got Diablo 3 for $20 at my local target.
Didn't see it in any ad so ymmv. It's $25 on amazon.

Amazon says the game is pc and Mac and comes with a disc. My MacBook does not have the disc drive. I'm assuming you get emailed a download code?

Just register the CD key that comes with the game and download it from battle.net

Yes, you just use the CD key to "redeem a code" on battle.net. It's a 25gb download. I don't have a CD drive either.

I was playing diablo 3 today and it was on the battle.net launcher.

Just as an FYI they are doing 50% experience bonus till the 24th in preparation for reaper of souls expansion. Ive been building paragon levels on my wizard.

It's easier just to buy it on Blizzard's site honestly and it's the same price right now. As was previously mentioned the boxed copy just gives you a code to download straight from Blizzard anyway. There's not much point to installing the disc copy at this point. It's way out of date and there's been a ton of large updates. Might as well just download the newest version to begin with from the source.
