Diablo III T-Shirt - $5 - Nerdy Tees
No its more that you feel a need to act like things are gay just because they dont match the stereotype of manliness. Given that fact I was saying a football helmet(one of the stereotypes)fits well.
When did I say it was gay? There is nothing wrong with wearing lighter colors. I was asking if people actually wear gaming shirts in public, or if it is some memorabilia thing they keep. One question, and then you say anyone that watches football is a homophobe.

I'm female, and I constantly wear MegaMan, Ninja Gaiden, Power Rangers, etc shirts wherever I go. My boyfriend wears Katamari and Mario bros. There's nothing wrong with wearing something related to your interests.

Layziebones: I think most people were offended by your original posts because you implied that people who do wear these kinds of shirts are the stereotypical closet nerds who have no lives. That couldn't be further from the truth...

I can see how people may have thought I was being a jerk, but I assure you I wasn't trying to be. I didn't think people actually wore stuff like this, and I always thought that people who were purchasing them, bought them for the same reason they buy sealed games they never open. I wouldn't wear one, but that may be because gaming is a very small part of what I do. I guess I would feel the same way if I wore a jersey, or something to that degree, and people just assumed that is all I did. What people war bears some implications on that person, but they aren't always true.

So, if anyone is offended, don't be. I was not making fun of your clothing choices. What you wear is completely up to you. :D

And sorry to have jumped to conclusions. I just have a real problem when people that seem like they are the typical mans man are making fun of geeky habits or people that look a little different. I think I always was attracted to stuff outside the norm and I grew up playing RPG's, but I think I became sensetive to it in high school because my friends took so much shit for it. I was 6'0 and weighed about 275-300 pounds(and this was my freshman year) so no one gave me shit(at least not physically)but a lot of my friends got shoved around for wearing geek shirts and I felt bad for a lot of the kids that either were gay or just emo and wore nail polish or did something else that made them stand out and got picked on because of it. The whole thing is just so stupid and sad.
People here are so pissy about everything.
This aggravates me!

kidding :) but yeh, this thread did spiral out of control into a hatefest.

I missed my chance to both buy a large and/or medium of this shirt :( bah!

i woodnt wear that shirt.

i dont wanna start anything but the people that do wear gaming shirts, are the pretty nerdy ones. granted i dont know them but they do give off the nerdiness. i got a friend thats a crazy ass hard core gamer and he's cool as hell. rocks gaming shirts all the time. but his are very tasteful unlike this diablo shirt

Well, this sucks. I just was notified that they had their inventory numbers incorrect and that my large shirt sold out even though it was listed as in stock when I purchased it. I wish I had known this ahead of time, I would've just ordered a medium. -- EDIT: They found a Medium for me. Thank guys.
