Grrr, 25 Larvitars and still not the personality I want, here's my updated list of availiables:

*Rhyhorn (Careful, Hardy, Jolly, Lax, Modest x2, Sassy)
*Mismagius (Lax, Hasty, Quiet x2, Relaxed)
*Gible (Bashful, Bold, Brave, Careful, Docile, Gentle, Hardy, Impish, Jolly, Lonely, Mild, Naughty x2, Quirky, Relaxed, Serious)
*Magby (Adamant, Bashful, Brave, Hardy x2, Hasty x2, Impish, Lax x2, Mild, Quiet x2, Quirky, Sassy, Serious x2)
*Larvitar (Bashful, Bold, Calm x2, Docile, Gentle, Hardy x2, Impish x2, Lonely, Mild, Naive x2, Naughty, Quiet, Quirky, Rash, Relaxed x3, Sassy x2, Serious, Timid)

As I have quite a bit of these, I'm willing to do the random 1v1 trade, I'd only prefer that I get a Pokemon I have yet to catch.

HotShot, if you're willing to wait, I have an adamant Tyranitar with ddance that I raised pre-AR. But this weekend no wifi, so monday if you are interested.

Okay, so I posted that last night and then left the comp for two hours... whoops.

Still need some Graveler evo help if anyone has the chance. (Golem learns everything at the same level as Graveler, so it's a great evolution)

Anyone have a spare Dusk Stone? My Murkrow is looking a little...non-evolved to me. I have Piplups, Turtwigs, Chimchars, Eevees to give...

Edit 1: Oh, and I was given a Charmander, but it won't breed with my Ditto. (I really don't see why the little fucker doesn't want to mate with a gelationous blob, but I guess he's just funny like that.) Is there anything I can do to improve their strange, sexual relationship, or is this pair just doomed not to breed?

Edit 2: And I just hatched a few Murkrows, wanting the ability Super Luck, which heightens the critical-hit ratios of moves. Looks like more than one hatched with that move, if anyone wants them. Or if you just want a Murkrow, let me know.

I have the following Pokemon ready for trade:

Cyndaquil
Aerodactyl
Mr. Mime
Combee male
Burmy female
Treecko x2
Mime Jr.
Munchlax

Im mainly looking for Mudkip and Torchic.

Well, you know, there's two of these damn threads, and I don't want to post my meaningless babble in this thread. I try to keep my drivel in the right place.

i got a question for people. when people use the wfc. how many results do they get for pokemon they search for. its strange that i only get like 3 each time. maybe thats is one of the side effects of what happen to my ds.

well the problem is i only get 3 everytime now and i there are definately more than 3 available people with the pokemon out.

The GTS search system is horrible. One instance I was looking for a ditto for my ditto. Before putting him in, I didn't see any other dittos for a ditto and only 5 results. After putting my ditto in I checked again and saw 7 results and at least 2 ditto for a ditto trades. Then I took the ditto back out and the result was the same as my first one. It obviously doesn't refresh until you log out of the GTS.

well i have logged out of the gts many times and it still always appears to be 3 results found. i wish i had another ds to try this on.

I am interested in the Admant Magby, any of the Rhyhorns. I am still fairly new to the game(6 badges). So I don't realy have much to trade. If you could list what pokemon you need, as well as items that you could use I will see what I have as I would love to pickup one or both of those pokemon.

Thank you very much in advance.

Could I get Brave Larvitar?
Why would you want an adamant Magby? Its base attack is 95 in comparison to 123 Sp At.
I am a pokenoob, I dont realy know the difference between the different ones, and I dont have any admant Pokemon so I just thought it would be interesting to have one.

Why breeding for natures suck in this game... You should catch or trade for a ditto of the nature you're looking for (if you beat the game). Saves you time in the love run.

I'm not sure if Brave is a good nature for Tyranitar. He's already slow as is and speed is pretty important in the end. He'll most likely be Ko'ed before he gets anything off.

I don't know, to me it seems that EVERYTHING is trash except for Adamant. What else is even remotely as good? With Tyranitar's broad weaknesses, he's suscept to both Physical and Special attacks.
Halu, have you fought anyone with your new team yet?
Nope, still tweaking and got wifi back last night.

You know, as far as natures go, it seemed pretty simple to me:

Take the bonus in the attack that your moveset uses
Take the penalty in the attack that your moveset doesn't use.

I.E. Adamant or Modest.

Pretty much. Though from what I see, the only beneficial Nature for Tyranitar is Adamant, unless you count the ones that do nothing.

Agreed, unless perhaps you choose to make him a solid tank, which is useless outside of group battles.

For the record, my Tyranitar is/will be Adamant.

You can go by that. However, that's just dealing with attack/spattack. All those movesets out there usually try to take into account what the other pokemon is, because this game is all about countering. They have to find the right nature that'll put them at an advantage over certain other pokemon. A Jolly Tyranitar may be more advantageous than an adamant tyranitar because he is most likely slightly faster and can still generate enough power to kill the other tyranitar first. Same goes for an adamant against other pokemon, he might have just enough attack to kill the other pokes with one hit whereas the jolly tyranitar may lack that power to finish the pokes off.

Yes, but now we're trying to account for team trends and individual opponents, which I'd consider to be more of a hassle than is worth noting. I personally would prefer personalities and movesets that amplify my team's natural talent and use that to cover a broad range of opponents.

My Adamant Tyrantiar might always lose to a Jolly Tyranitar...but hey, I have an Empoleon in my team for that.

This can apply to a broad range as well. Say a jolly tyranitar has enough speed to outrun almost all pokes after a dragon dance and can hit first after that. Whereas a non-speed enhancing nature needs two dragon dances to be able to outrun most pokes. Natures, movesets and IVs all go hand in hand. When choosing natures, it's usually a lot more than choosing adamant if you're a phys sweeper, though I too agree that adamant is probably the better nature for tyranitar.

And that is why a Tyranitar usually has earthquake. Just for switch ins like that.
