Discovery's Deadliest Catch!

I think that the codes will be sent out on the 20th when they choose the grand prize winner. I would suggest looking for them on that date for winner emails. It is still alive but they are probably going through and checking for invalid entries due to the flaw in their previous version of the instant win.

I believe that they will be notified on the 20th, I think I remember reading that somewhere in the official rules.

My friend and I just each got a code for 400 pts via text. Sweet! Now time to decide whether to get an arcade game or a few rock band songs
 
it wont let me send it :( it says message failed all the time because of unknown recipent :( any ideas or anyone willing to be kind ? much apreciated

I knew this contest wasn't "over" when that warning message came up and they changed the rules. I find it ridiculous that CAGs blamed other CAGs for "ruining" the contest for them. I just got 11 codes. :)
 
Yeah, this is amazing. I cant remember how many emails I signed up with.. but I am 25 for 25 so far for this "dead" contest. I can't add any more points today, but wow amazing thanks A LOT!

anyone kind enough to spare ONE 400 code so i can get outrun? :)

i only entered three times, didnt spam it out zealously.
 
same here I entered with a couple other accounts and I still didn't get anything , If I don't oh well I ended up getting 2,800 pts. from the instant win contest a few days ago

EVERY single email so far has been Congratulations blah blah.. no losing accounts in.. maybe 40 so far?
 
I didn't even know about this thread or that you can join by email...I saw the contest on XBOX Live Spotlight...I sent a text after watching the video, got confirmation that I was entered, and that they will contact me if I won...then today I got the text with the MS points code. I wish I would have taken advantage like some of you did here. Oh well...400pts is better than nothing.

Good luck to you guys, I hope they come. I'm checking my yahoo accounts.. maybe yours are just delayed a little? I remember the first night it took a couple hours longer for some to come through.

Man I gotta stretch, soooo boring checking emails but soooooooo worth it.. hehe
 
when you post an epic contest such as this it should be mandatory that anyone who won more than 10 times must give you a code. I havent won anything yet though :(.
 
lol. It's not mandatory to do anything. People get to keep all the codes they get. They went through the trouble of making a bunch of emails as well as spending the time just entering the contest.
 
I only entered twice but haven't gotten anything yet. I hope it's late or something cause I only need like 100 pts for Bionic Commando.

I know its not mandatory but if I won a lot of points I know I would be sending some to the person that posted the contest as a little thanks but thats just me.

Going by everybody's recent posts it looks like they aren't sending out any "Not a Winner" emails. Which is odd because I believe that before they were forced to change the sweepstakes, they were sending "Sorry" emails & texts messages to the losers.

BTW, did anyone actually score the two codes (one for each day) by playing legit?
Skimming thru the posts, I get the impression that only people that gamed the system were able to score more than one code.

not at all, clearly you're the one here who deserves the biggest thanks:applause: On the G4TV forums I go to, you can anonymously leave negative/positive reputation comments for a post, so I've been leaving negative ratings with comments that consist of these codes, and it's caused a bit of mass confusion and pandemonium of sorts over there :lol: Bet you never thought your actions would result in that
 
What really pissed me off about this contest, is that it was discovered the 2 or 3 days I was away from this site...

When I got back they stopped the instant win feature, and I had to enter legitamately, which I did, and I didn't win a single code... >=(

The days after the exploit was fixed I entered once each day and won 3 times, also the first day the contest started.

so 4 times legit, and 30+ spam. / 800 entries
