anybody went through the checkout at DJ and noticed it's not secured? I really want this bundle, but I ain't gonna risk a non-secure site just to order it...

I know, I would have gotten my first $10 after this order, which would have resulted in me pordeirng a Prinny Plushie. Regardless once this all calms down I'm going to contact NIS to see if i can get the points applied since I had to go through DJ cause their website sucks.

It was secure for me. Was an https web address.

Thats the thing the NIS website is OK, it's www.onfulfillment.com that is an issue. I assume they're handling the sales for NIS.
 
I've dicked around long enough with this. Good Luck to everyone who ordered from DJ...I don't know...Spidey sense is tingling about that site for some reason. And I agree with Roufuss...limited to 1,000 my a$$.

Double Jump Books is very legit... they are the publisher of the strategy guide, they have a very close relationship with NIS (they've done almost every one of their guides), and they are trustworthy.

I've ordered from DJ before and haven't had any problems. they're the company that releases all of NIS's strat guides, so it makes sense for them to have the offer avaliable.
 
That HTTP error just occurs when the server gets overloaded, they don't allow people in. It happens whenever a deal like this comes up. Kind of like the americanexpress wishlish crap.

Hahahahaha. I went to add 1 to my cart, and I got an error that they do not have that many on hand. Probably just because it's a pre-order, but would seriously suck if they didn't have enough art books.
 
Do you get charged the full amount right away for the preordering? Or do only make a deposit like how gamestop/ebgames have you do a $5 deposit. Or do you just not pay at all right now?
 
OMG this is a joke. I had it in my cart and was going to check out and then the Service Unavailable and nothing would work.

Hohez I think the warning is for preorders as they don't have it on hand and just saying that.

iirc, ordering at DJ charges the amount instantly ... no clue about NIS.

Was finally able to order from NIS. What a pain. Just received email confirmation too. That was fast.

Best part of the email:

* Current inventory levels are insufficient to cover this item,
but it will be shipped as soon as possible.

EDIT: And I got links and passwords for the Strategy Guide and for the Prinney Cursor.

Like I said in an earlier post, I ordered 2 b/c I saw this was being charged immediately. If you don't get one today then just shoot me a PM when the game releases. And btw - it was the $65 version I got 2 of...

I have successfully ordered the Gamer set from NIS. I do not see any pending activity on my card so it does not seem they charge right off, but they might do it in nightly batches instead. (Usually most places I see the pending activity right off, then in the purchasing list after a day.)

Guess I will find out soon.
