I orderdered through NIS and will just cancel my DJ pre-order, but I have the amount already pending on my card from both places.

It errored out as I finalized the order, but the charge is there, but no confirm email yet. fucking shitty website.

I got confirmation from NIS awhile ago. Along with the confirmation they sent links to the Pinny Cursors and Disgaea 2 Manual. They are password protected Zip files and the password is sent along with the link.
 
You know, NIS fucked up with this whole thing, but they're getting a hell of a lot of preorders for the game... more than they ever could've expected without some ridiculously extravagant bonus.

I am unable to reach the NIS Store. I receive the "HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found."

Ordered from DJ, but no confirmation...
 
Argh, I gave in and just ordered through DJ. I can't wait around for the NISA site to work any longer. I am going to email them later on though and try to get the points I would've gotten added to my account on their site though.
 
I'm happy. Ordered the complete set through DJ. Hopefully no really big deals come this month.. after I saw how much I spent before credit last month, I'm trying to hold back.
 
I just got off the phone with Phoenix at NIS's main office in California and he gave me a lot of explainations as to what is going on.

#1. the webserver where the online store is ... is getting rammed really hard. Phoenix told me that they have put a request into the data center for more bandwidth to accompany the amount of people trying to preorder this game.

#2. I asked Phoenix also specifically about orders being charged when the orders are processed. He stated to me that there is a pre-authorization (so no money needed up front right now guys) and the methods of payments are actually charged the day of shipment.

Well I just got into my account at NIS, and it shows no order placed. Even though they have already charged me the money for the order. Just emailed them, god damn this has ended up being aids.
 
Ok well got in Weeeeee. For the people smashing the F5 button wait for the white screen. That means you are connecting with a 50/50 chance of getting the order in. (I got to check out about 4 times before it let me order). Just keep trying or just try DJ

Great news to me. Now, if I can just get the damn website to load..
 
I sent in a support submission asking how Double Jump orderers are going to be getting the manual and prinny cursor links, and also asking about whether people could still get NIS points from a Double Jump order and how to go about doing it.

Hopefully I will get an email response sometime soon (I have a feeling their support system is probably being flooded), and then I can let you guys know what they say.

well called NIS up and was told that


Double jump was giving a certain amount of ART books orders they could do. Its up to the Double jump to say when they are out or not.


i just did a copy and paint shwing what Doublejump said i got with my order. If anything dont come i just dispute and return
 
Placed an order, but it warned me before I processed the order that:

*Current inventory levels are insufficient to cover this item, but will be shipped as soon as possible.

One problem.. when I processed my card, a fucked up screen popped up and not a confirmation screen.
 
where on the nisamerica store can you see how many "points" you have stored up? I had 80 before this, so with it i should have 155. So the next order I place $10 should be taken off automatically?
 
Hmmm. Looks like that coupon for DJ isn't working anymore. I guess I'll just order from DJ and keep trying N1. If N1 works, I'll cancel the DJ order.
 
wow, this is pretty messed up. I can't get to NIS, so I ended up ordering with DJ, but damned if they aren't going to be oversubscribed on the limited edition sets. ha ha ha the damn game better be freaking awesome.

edit: Whoa, finally got in to NIS. It says stuff is backordered. I may just keep my DJ order intact.
 
read on another site that doublejump only had like 20 to 50 sets of the art book.

i still havent gotten any email from doublejump

well it says backordered. the art book was limited to 1000 so that is sold out

CSR said that if you reload the site page and still see the item in the cart...the order didn't go through...he sounded a bit well puzzled so yeah...Im trying to place an order till there is nothing the the side...

EDIT: Order went through with Internet Explorer and Firefox failed

and when it said it was backorder, it said one or more items from my cart was on backorder...and since its a pre-order obviously they have none of it in stock...so I thought that error would just occur no matter what

These are limited-edition packages. There's only 1000 of the art books being printed, so only a select few are going to get it.

Judging by the way the site went down today, I'm pretty sure their allotment is really filled. Any orders beyond that will be fulfilled w/o that bonus.

They could, in theory, but that would undermine the purpose of the item being a limited-edition.

I think where it says it's backordered happens to everyone's order because the item obviously isn't actually in stock yet. Did anybody who ordered really early get that popup?
 
Yeah, it gives that error message for just the Disgaea 2 game, so I figured it was because the game isn't released yet. That whole onfulfillment store is utter crap.
 
Those of you who preorder from DJ books site, does the charge show up on your credit card's online statement? For some reason, mine's not showing up nor have I received a email confirmation and I didn't print out the receipt page.:whistle2:(

Yes, based on the responses here so far I believe I was one of the first to get through and I still received this pop-up. I received my order confirmation through NIS at 1:13 pm EST.
 
So for the really early ones that got in... what was your order number?

Mine is in the 3600s, so I'm wondering if that's still the first 1000 or so...
 
So has anyone gotten any sort of order confirmation email from Double Jump yet? They charged my card, my order shows as processing, but I don't know what's going on with it.

I haven't yet.

And my NIS order is BUTCHERED. I've been charged, but i got no confirmation, and it shows no orders on my account. the online manager emailed me and said they'll be looking into the order issues as soon as all the connection issues are stabilized.

Glad it's still a month from release, it leaves plenty of time to cancel for us who've had issues.

DJPubba has wrote on the forums at Doublejump that the art books are gone, and he's going to provide an update as soon as he can.

This is a DISASTER, fuck NIS.

So to the people who are ordering from DJ expecting an art book at this point and time, you're not getting one.
