Do I really need a Hori screen protector?

I just bought the "deluxe" Hori pack from Target (2 protectors for the screen, 1 for the outer case which was nice, 1 each for around the d-pad and around the buttons which seemed useless IMO), and also bought the generic $1 one off DealExtreme.

I couldn't really notice any difference in quality between the two, honestly... both are really excellent products and you can't even notice the protector on the screens.

I'm really happy with these protectors, and for $1 and change shipped from DealExtreme, I don't see why anyone wouldn't get one.

I bought the hori brand for my ds lite and put it on after some confusion so I got a large amount of airbubbles and even some dirt under it (I was interupted unfortunatly while applying). The instructions suggest to peal the screen off using tape at the edges but nothing seems to move it. Does anyone have any special methods to removing the touch screen protector? Without damaging the screen?

I applied my screen protector but had to remove it (CottonGamer- just use tape) because my new red and black DS has a dead pixel (Im kicking myself for not checking before putting it on) and I am shipping it back to nintendo. I put the screen protector back in its original case. It uses static to stick to the screen so it should be alright when I get my DS back, right?

It should be the problem lies with the foreign objects it picks while you remove it. So it'll go back on but you might see a few surprises on there.

Removing that stuff with a piece of tape wouldn't damage the protector, right?
Just got a DS lite and was wondering what you guys use to clean the screen. The first thing I tried was my cameras cleaning cloth but that left a bunch of tiny little fibers (not sure what to call them) on the screen. Is there anything I would have at home that would works well for cleaning the screen?
I use the eye glass cleaners (disposable towelettes) from LensCrafters.
