One of the Usos got popped for his second DUI in 18 months.
This comes as a surprise, because from my understanding, the Usos never get a pop.

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

I love RVD. I really do. But he doesn't really fit in anywhere in TNA...

Is anyone in the Chicago-land planning to go to TNA tonight? I work in the prairie stone literally right next to the venue, but I'm still undecided. If its a CAG meetup though count me in. PM me if you are going to be there.

You should definitely go no matter what. I'd be tempted to hop on a train after work and go there if I had some extra spending cash.

That's my only hang up. I can afford entry, but nothing else. Sucks I don't get paid until tomorrow, but I can also park at my job and save on whatever parking is.

Ok you talked me into it. I have not been to a TV taping since Smackdown in 2009. I should send Bro-Shirt a PM and see if he is going too.

Well, there is your way to make some cash. Offer cheap parking at your job and get a couple bucks for a t shirt and a drink!

How did I forget the hustle? Every good worker knows the hustle.

Oh, TNA is on the road for impact starting tonight?

Looking forward to it, shame I'm going drinking later on, I'll have to DVR it. Enjoy, Habbler.

I'm glad I talked you into going. I hope you have a ball!

I was highly considering going myself, but just can't this time. I haven't taken a train to Chicago since I was in 8th grade, and I spent all of my sight seeing money at a Chitown Toys R Us on Nintendo 64 games.

Well done sir.

Have fun, Habbler.

I like the memories I have of RVD in ECW. I think his run in WWE is disappointing. Even the way he won the WWE main-event-belt-whose-name-at-the-time-I'm-unsure-of is disappointing. People complain about John Cena yet Van Dam has become just as typical and it feels like he jobs less.

It's interesting when you think of the divergent careers of Van Dam and Jerry Lynn. While Van Dam's apex is arguably his ECW work, Lynn went on to have great matches in TNA and ROH, and probably the work he did in the lesser indies. During the life of ECW, a lot of people said Van Dam had more talent of the two, including myself, but, in retrospect, I would have to flip my opinion and give Lynn the nod when considering his entire body of work.

Lynn had some good sleeper matches in WCW as JL with the luchas. I always enjoyed watching him back in the day (before I knew it was even him). Who didn't enjoy watching the luchadores, though...

Impact is so much better since they're out of shitty orlando. That Aries/Sting main event was nuts. Stings best match since his wcw days.

I felt bad for that Chicago crowd. Now for them being at iMPACT, but because they all look so pale. Sometimes I take for granted how sunny it really is in South Florida lol.

Glad I went to the show tonight. I had a blast sitting in the cheap seats with all the other smarks. It was cool how they kinda just let people walk around too when the cameras were not on. I started to take pictures and got the opening up to AJs entrance music hitting. My phone however is about 4 years old and the Camera only works sometimes so sadly the app kept force closing so I couldn't take pictures or video for the rest of the night.

After the main event Christy Hemme told us that there would be 8(!) more matches. Well it was only 4, but still we saw the majority of next weeks show minus all the backstage stuff.

Tried to patch in Macho Man tonight. Ohhh yeahhhhh!

A Toys R Us still sells nintendo 64 games??? I have to see pics of this.

And about how many would you say was at the TNA show?

No sir. Memorial threads go to 1000.

I'm almost positive this was posted when it originally happened, but if you missed it this was a pretty fun interview, especially for Kevin's story about harassing Sgt. Slaughter back in the 80's. That part starts around the 23:40 mark, skip to that and check it out if nothing else.

Hmm. It was hard to gauge exactly how many people were there. At capacity the arena holds around 11,000 for a concert using all the seats. For the TNA setup it looked like they were only using 40% of the arena, but besides the section the hard cameras were parked in it was pretty packed. I'd guess like 3,000 people were at the event.

At max capactity the Sears Centre holds 11,000, but TNA's set and the hard cameras and other stuff it looked like they were only using 40% of the seating. If I had to guess it was probably around 3,000 people.

It was cool seeing Fake Macho Man, and Bro-Shirt was there too. he was in the 3rd row. I have not watched my DVR yet, but I am going to laugh if he gets TV time.
Couldn't agree more. Let him show back up in the dobble dobble. Anyone who thinks that RVD is a linchpin for TNA is overthinking things.

Let him and most of the big name, ex-WWE guys walk. Keep Bubba and D-Von, of course. Maybe Angle.

Anderson stinks.
Watching RVD these days, especially in TNA is like watching a censored version of his ECW matches but on slow-motion.

I agree on the Anderson part as well. What sucks is that I used to be a HUGE Mr. Kennedy fan. I seriously saw him as the next big name for WWE. Then I watched him here and there on TNA, combined with watching his bitter-as-hell youtube videos and reading his ignorant twiiter posts just took the "give a shit" out of me.

I noticed the same thing. Everyone in Chicago is pale as a ghost. Even the tranny (ick) that they kept showing.

Not familiar with his twitter rants.

Given how WWE appears to be, I want to be a bit sympathetic towards ex-dudes who are bitter to the experience. Some of those who seem to have the biggest right to be bitter (Kharma comes to mind) aren't, though. Or aren't publicly. I appreciate those who are honest, but at some point you gotta let go and move on. Anderson hasn't done anything in TNA to make WWE regret dropping him, though (IMO).

"This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!" ~Adolph Hitler, 1935,on The Weapons Act of Nazi Germany History never repeats itself, right? We're far too enlightened to ever allow this sort of thing to happen again, right? The President can now detain anyone, at any time, for any reason, for any length of time, and can execute that person if he feels him/her a "threat to national security". Citizens don't "need" weapons, but the Dept. of Homeland Security recently purchased 1.6 BILLION rounds of hollow point ammunition. (Hint: Hollow points aren't used for target practice) Food for thought.

Yep, exactly the type of shit I want to read from pro-wrestlers.
Has there or will there ever be a Naked Mideon Appreciation thread?
Pretty sure, but I could be wrong, that there has been a Naked Mideon Appreciation thread before.

I've yet to actually see Naked Mideon? Isn't he wearing a gimmick bag fanny pack over his schlong or something?

(I can't see the videos where I'm at right now.)

Yeah. I guess going from hog farmer to human sacrifice will do that to you.

Batista being cast as Drax automatically makes him the 2nd most successful wrestler to actor...sorry Vince :D. I figured Jason Momoa would have beaten him out for it.

Saw some DVD markdowns at K-Mart.

9.99
Undertaker Dead or Alive pack (doesn't have the Dead or Alive packaging, instead is simply Deadliest Matches & He Buries Them Alive sets shrinkwrapped together...still rings up as Dead or Alive though)

Satan's Prison - Elimination Chamber Anthology (Double Pack w/ Undertaker 15-0 DVD - not a great deal since the Undertaker DVD is apparently heavily edited/clipped)

7.50
Hart & Soul - Hart Family Anthology

Hulk Hogan's Unreleased Collector's Series
