and...
Interesting.
I'm assuming you're Christian, and if you're not then I apologize, but most of Christianity is based upon the idea of the "
Holy Trinity", which is to say that God is comprised of 3 equal parts (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), which are all part of the same God. This is one of the most fundamental principles of Christianity (I'm pretty sure most sects).
Are you part of some traditionalist movement that refuses to accept events after Vatican 2 or something?[/QUOTE]
Well i dont wanna get into a whole discussion about this, becuase it could be a long one. But i already had a huge discussion on this subject on the christian forums couple months back. Some agree with me and some dont.
The fact is, first off the word
Christianity is not found within none of the bibles. Second the word
Trinity is not found in none of the bibles, and neither is the concept written down in the bible. In john chapter 1 verse 1, this may sound like John is telling us that Jesus is GOD( in a slight way, but not fully) , but to get a great understanding of anything by using ( cant think of the word at this time , yet alone spell it ) _________ you cant just read one line and think you understand the scripture , you have to read the whole thing, even Jesus Christ hinted at this when preaching, thus i cant think of that word.
If you keep reading that scripture ( which i mention ) , John continues to say:
And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. They bare a record and say Jesus is the son of GOD. Infact, Jesus is only label within the bible as:
The Son of GOD, the Prophet, The Lamb, The Messiah, The King of Jews and the Lamb of GOD.
No where in the bible does it flat out say that Jesus Christ is GOD. The christians in these times are confused, not all of them, but some of them. The christians from the bible times understood, and they sat down with the man, we didnt. And they never said Jesus is GOD, they always say it like this:
GOD The Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
It aint too hard to understand folks, they are one and they work together, but they are also separated. Kinda like, if i had a son. I'm the father, and i have a son. And its the same with humans, because Jesus also said. We are one, just like the father and I am one.
But this discussion can never come to an agreement, because like i said, some agree with me and some didnt.
