Do you drink coffee?

x0thedeadzone0x

CAGiversary!
As much as I love coke, I am a huge supporter of coffee. If you think I'm too young, I've been drinking it since I was in 4th grade. Anyways, I love coffee, it helps me be awake in the morning and is very good. So what other CAGers inject coffee into their morning (or any other time)? :D

My personal favorite is French Vanilla, but I also like regular. Cinnamon Hazelnut's pretty good. I'll drink coffee black too.

I love coffee. I only do this sometimes, but I love to have coffee with 1% milk and sugar and eat some toast and jam. It seriously makes me feel good inside.

My parents were raised on a good breakfast like that back when they were kids in Yugoslavia. So, I love coffee, just like my parents do.

Drinking a cup of pumpkin spice flavored coffee as I type this...
Mmmmm.....pumpkin spice.
That actually sounds good, I'll need to try it.

Me, I just finished off my cup of french vanilla. :D

One of my favorites, great for these cold fall days:

Cafe Royale: Place a cube of sugar on a tablespoon and soak it in brandy or cognac. Hold the spoon so that it rests on top of a cup of strong hot coffee and carefully ignite the liqour. Hold the spoon in place until the flame burns out and then drop the contents of the spoon into the coffee.

i rarley drink coffee, its funny seeing all the freshman in the mess hall guzzling it down acting like its so cool as if it were a status symbol, I prepher a glass of water or orange juice in the morning, or seltzer. Coffee is like a wow I have a wicked hang over must drink, drink.

The only liquids I do drink are either coffee, water or red bull. No more soda for me. I usually just make regular coffee, but every few days I'll make some espresso.

I only drink the good stuff from the Coffee Beanery and I still have some coffee left from Kaui.
The sludge they have it work is horrid and I only drink it if absolutely necessary.

I've never liked coffee...

Fun coffee fact: Coffee was originally discovered by arab traders in the middle ages. Story goes a camped caravan noticed their goats behaving oddly. The goats would stutter as they walked, appeared aggitated, and made abnormal noises.

The traders noticed the goats had been eating the beans from a plant that eventually turned out to be coffee plant. Seeing the effects of the bean on the goats, at first they tried eating some. They then boiled tem to soften the beans and viola, coffee was born.

If we went back in time and could overhear these arabs their cobnversation, loosely translated, might sound like this,

"Dude, those goats are messed up. They've been eating these beans. Look at 'em fall over. Man, I wanna try that shit. Lets boil these and get our buzz on."

A little later...

"Whoa man, I'm like, more awake than I've ever been in my life. We can sell this shit for a fortune!"

I drink about a quart a day. I got this Peaberry coffe when I was in Maui. It's 100% Kona coffee from some kind of mutated coffee bean. It was like $40 a pound, but this stuff truly kicks ass. It's the best coffee I've ever had. I had some Jamaican Mountain coffee, I forget the actual name but this was like $30 a half pound, it was a close second to the Kona. Also an interesting thing I recently learned. The longer the coffee bean is roasted the less caffeine it retains

I drink a lot of coffee. My favorite blends are the African blends which are a little harder to find. Most of them have a distinctive nutty taste to them - Paticularly coffee from eithiopia.

You guys should sample some of the African coffees out there when you get a chance.

I like coffee. In the summer when I was working, I would drink it every day. It was the only thing that kept me alert for the hour and a half commute. Now that I can wake up every day at 10, I don't really need coffee, and I don't like it enough to just drink it for the hell of it.

I don't drink a lot of coffee, but enjoy the occasional cappachinno or latte later in the evening. If I drink coffee early it tears a hole in my stomach and I feel ill for the rest of the day.

I drink coffee for the taste, not the energy. For some odd reason, coffee never wakes me up... Its either that, or I'm so exhausted I can't tell the difference.

I'm a White Chocolate Mocha, extra whipped cream kinda person. I love Starbucks. :D

I drink A LOT of coffee. Nothing special for me, just a regular cup of joe. One sugar for small and two for large cups. I drink it to keep me awake in class but caffeine sadly, has no effect on me. I can drink coffee all day and still sleep like a baby.

I have one of these as my addiction is pretty bad.

http://www.starbucks.com/card/duetto.asp

This card's Reward setup pays for most of my coffee now as I was spending too much so why not earn it free. Started stealing sips when I was a kid and it became an addiction. I drink it straight black, never sweetened. I also drink Americano's like water.

At work, they pay for our Red Bull during crunch time - but even I have my limits as the combo of RB and Americanos can get me a bit twitchy. In fact, I'm currently off caffiene (second day) because I was feeling way too hyper (swore my heat was palpitating!) and I have the absolute raddest headache now. If they made decaf that tasted like regular, I'd switch. Until then, I'm an addict.

I used to drink it now and then. Now i drink it every morning at work. I have to be there at 7, and its a ten hour shift so it helps on those sleepy mornings.

People that drink that 4 dollar stuff daily are insane IMO. I have a friend that does, eats up your cash fast.

I used to be a Starbucks addict, but I've cut down and now I just have a cup ever once in a while, or when I have to get up really early.
The sludge they have it work is horrid and I only drink it if absolutely necessary.
We have undrinkable coffee where I work as well, superior brand. Unfortunately we are not able to have personal coffee makers in our cubicles due to safety concerns (some idiot left a paper filter burn on a coffee maker hotplate once and we all have to pay). It is tolerable if you throw enough of the liquid french vanilla coffeemate in it, but only if you are desperate.

I usually buy the dunkin donuts vanilla coffee. The stores are all over here, and the coffee is pretty good. I haven't tried any of the more exotic African coffees yet, but I am pretty far from being a connosior.

Love coffee. Didn't use to until I took it seriously. I love White Chocolate Mocha at Starbucks.
And of course, I drink regular coffee. I have found out that the more roasted the coffee beans are, the less caffeine there is in them.

I try not to drink coffee now. I only drink it on Wednesday night when I want to stay up really late til 5 in the morning to do my homework and studying. I'll also drink cold coffee when I go out to watch movie at theater. I will not drink black coffee because it is too bitter (I like sweet and cold coffee witih ice and whipped cream).

The only coffee I ever drink really is Espresso. You'd think I'd prefer something less concentrated since I don't really like the taste of coffee, but after being in Italy, espresso is really freaking addicting. Plus, you can gulp it all down in one gulp and get all the caffiene from about two or three cups of coffee. Seriously, espresso is the shit.
I like Irish Creme and Amaretto. But I can drink it black too.
That's the whoop during the Winter.
A cup of folger's with a shot of Bailey's or Kahlua (or a shot of both).

I drink Cafe Bustelo, a puertorican brand that my family drank when I was little. They have a normal and expresso kind, both are delicious. I need to lay off though. I think the caffeine is affecting my health. It's hard to quit though. I love the taste.

Oh and White Chocolate Mocha's are my substitute when I'm out and about.

So many coffee drinkers! My dad has about 10 cups a day. When I was 3 or 4, my dad started me drinking the stuff. It is so addictive! I'm 19 now, BTW.

Same here.

I have an entire bottle of Bailey's at home just for making coffee. Because no one seems to notice that you are drinking basically alcoholic shots throughout the day if it is disguised in coffee. This is great at work...who needs crappy Starbucks to get me through the day when a hidden shot of Baileys or Amaretto in Kona coffee will work much better.

I drink alchohol free coffee too, my favorite being Lion Kona coffee. Hawaiian coffee is the best!

White Chocolate Mocha is one of my favs when it comes to coffee. Only bad thing about it is the fact that it starts to cost a lot so I only have it here and there now. I've been drinking it for a while, since I was 9 or so since my Grandpa gave me some. It's really good. I like the double shot espressos as well.

I like regular coffee iced. I like to put lots of sweetener and lots of cream in it. Starbucks is my favorite. And I dont know if this counts but I like the frapucino type drinks

Isn't drinking too much coffee when you're young bad for the body? I want to drink coffee everyday, but I'm afraid my growth will be stunted or something. Anything wrong with you young coffee addicts?
