I noticed this in the DVDTalk bargain forum today.

Note: This is probably a price mistake and may be cancelled by Amazon, but worth a shot.

Edit: Based on the picture, this would be series V. Sorry for not including that in the initial post.

Edit: They raised the price to $14.98, and added a $48.01?!?!? sourcing fee. Lets hope they don't cancel the orders that got in before this disturbing development.

Edit: Price on Amazon is now $62.99. My order was brought up for review, with the option to confirm or cancel at that price (I cancelled). Oh well, it was worth a shot. I just wish I had known yesterday, so that I could have added the other items (that do not qualify for free shipping by themselves) from that order onto the order (which is already being prepared for shipment and can't be altered) I placed yesterday.

But if you look at the used and new from $42 - I dunno. It says 4 disc set. I agree with the OP, it's worth a shot. Shipping is 3 bucks though.

Their's been a couple of Street Fighter series right? I don't know which is which. I think this is the one on Starz, but I wasn't very impressed. And did you guys know their coming out with another Street Fighter Alpha movie? I liked the first one a lot.
 
I have heard for years how terrible and medicore the series is, on the other hand nothing like first hand experience in matters like this. For this price i'll give it a shot, thanks for the heads up. As for the first Street Fighter Alpha movie, if I heard Dark Hado one more time I would snap , second movie seems to be taking its sweet time getting out the door, is it even done?

You might be right about the second movie. The initial release date was early June, and I think they pushed it back to late July. And I probably won't be picking the V Collection up through Amazon, but thanks for the heads up anyways OP.
 
You who say it isn't good must be thinking of another series. I actually had this entire series, and it was very good. I totally recommend it.
 
Yes, the V series was great..... at least until the last few episodes. I think that's when the budget was getting thin as they were reusing many scenes ( I remember a recap that lasted 10 minutes before the actual episode!)


Still, it's an excellent reimagined version of the SF universe.
 
I'm interested in it but I don't want the hassle of it being canceled and then I got to pay for shipping on the item I used for free shipping. If anyone confirms that theirs shipped I be happy to give this set a try.

Yeah I got the same thing when I clicked view order...it's in my open orders though, but that doesn't give you the price.
 
I have a feeling they messed up on the price and are going to cancel all the orders, I hope they dont but I have a bad feeling. With any luck it will just be 15 and they wont tack on the sourcing fee (that way Ill get one as well).

Hopefully they do. Some asshat over at DVDtalk ordered 50 "as soon as I saw this thread". :evil:
 
Well thats a new one, I too am curious about the sourcing fee, something they made up for price mistakes maybe? Well if it goes through cool, if not oh well.
