DOA4 vs VF5

In an old interview he stated that VF4 was good but DOA 3 was better.
 
This may be an oversimplification, but what the hell, it's an internet forum right?

VF5 = Chess
DOA4 = Checkers

They're both fun games, but entirely different experiences. Don't pick up VF5 if all you want to do is button-mash and have an ass-kicking good time, and don't pick up DOA4 if you're looking for the video game equivalent of those training sessions that Rocky had in Siberia before fighting Ivan Drago.

Didn't he say that DOA3 was better because it's faster? It's hard to remember articles from a couple years ago.
