DOAX2 More xtreme than ever!
that reminds me, they missed the perfect oppurtuinty to put a good joke in part 1. They should of put topless mode in, but when you get to the actual game, it's they guys that are topless. Maybe Sans Bass and Gen Fu....but you get the idea.
well, Zack does wear a "Bro"/"Man-Bra" in most of the DoA games, so...

LOL. At least the got Rodman to do his voice. As perverse as this game looks, it's actually a good game for kids. I was 15 when I got it and my lil sis wwas 12 and played it a lot. I was so mad that my 100+ hours were gone when i had to trade XBOXes

I actually had to turn Rodman's voice off and go Japanese since he bothered me too much. Zack's japanese voice isn't too bad. Oddly enough though, Zack will probably play a huge part in DoA5 since his DoA4 Fiasco.
Both voices weren't that good IMO. Doesn't Zack always find the weirdest ways to put himself in top tier storywise?
not really... the only time that's happened was in DoA4... in DoA3 it was semi important since it lead to what happened in DoAX1. I'm guessing the DoA4 ending for Zack was canon as well since it could lead up to the new Zack Island.
It will be awhile in NA. In Japan games with sex aren't that unusual and not just the text adventures of old.

To be honest, I am surprised there aren't games being developed at least for the PC (where they wouldn't have to deal with Nintendo, Sony, or MS) by porn companies. I guess it's because programming involves actual work.
There is plenty of stuff out there, especially localized imports. It's just that the primary outlets for PC game sales won't touch the stuff. If you cannot get into Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy, EBgames/GameStop, etc., and that cuts potential sales so low that magazine advertising become too expensive, if the magazine will accept your ad. I haven't looked at a reent issue of something like Penthouse for a few years, so they may be in there.

I remember a Joystiq.com entry about a year linked to a US company that was like the Working Designs of hentai. Perhaps a google... there! Lot of Wikipedia coverage on this subject...
www.peachprincess.com is the one I've seen most frequently linked. Who knows how much business they do but the stuff is available in English.

I'd be curious to see if any of these succeed as games but it isn't something I'm going to spend any cash on. The reviews on Something Awful don't sound too promising.

Hmmm, I don't think I'd previously heard about Koei and Enix's early forays into computer porn games.

Way back when... who knwos when the hell it was, but EBgames use to sell adult PC games before they became a huge chain. I remember seeing them on the racks all the time when I was younger.

Jast USA is the one I remember from long ago. I played Jast's Three Sister's Story ages ago and it actually is pretty decent IMO. It's like a very simplified version of Snatcher. I hadn't heard about Koei and Enix doing those types of games before but I don't think it is all that unusual.

Kasumi = automatic purchase, but I really, really hope that Itagaki is serious about improving the gameplay. I mean, this could be a really good mini game collection... sorta like Mario Party with tits. Itagaki has the ability, so I hope he does something to make this game worth owning.

well, at least there's finally multiplayer for the minigames which is a huge plus. Also, for me Tina+Christie = Instant Purchase for me.

I hope the jet ski stuff holds up, but knowing itagaki, it probably will (thankfully he's inspired by wave race 64 for it).

Sorry if it was posted, but did you guys hear that they implemented technology in the game, that will show tanlines. If the character is wearing the same bikini for a long period of time, she will get tanlines in the shape of the bikini, that you can see when you change outfits.

That's a good idea actually.

take a look at the post right before yours. and yes, it's a great idea. also to note, sometimes tan lines can be a real turn on for me, but I wont go into further detail >_
What is it that you're getting at???

Just that on the internet tanlines usually equals topless.
Nice. If nothing else this game will be remembered for all the graphical nuances in the game.
Graphical nuances whatever. It's all about the Next Gen Booby Bouncing Physics.

that and probably the fact that it'll be the best game on the 360 that no one will appreciate :(

 I was tying to be politically correct!

Beach Volleyball is a four-player game in which one real person plays with an AI on his side while vying against another real person and an AI teammate. So on Xbox Live or on System Link, you'll play against another person, while each of you has an AI teammate. Itagaki explained that building in four-person play for volleyball was complicated and not altogether fun; whereas two humans, each coupled with an AI partner, worked better.

boo...I want a friend with me to make fun of XxCloudSephiroth2000xX, who will be heard fapping through the mic.

sounds much better than the first game though.

in the end, it never was really about the multiplayer in the original, but this will change it. It's almost guarantee that volleyball and jet-ski will be the most popular Live games for this.

It's nice to know that the girls are more open this time around as well.

true, it wasn't. that was my biggest gripe about the original though. I had a lot of fun playing it against someone and think volleyball could make for a great party game.

All the other mini-games sound awesome though, so it's not a huge deal. I hope there are a lot of cool courses for Marine race.

I'm just glad a sequal is even beign made. this game is the main reason why I got a 360 and I would hate not to play it.

I can see how some people may get overlly obsesive with mastering the Butt Battle and Tug of War games.
what I meant by that (and your response may be valid) is that this time around, it's easyer to get girls into the clothing you want them to have than the first game.

ie, the girls this time around are alot less picky and less anal... oh wait,... not the right words to use for this type of game....

wow... good news and oddly either good or bad news:

after watching IGN weekly, DOAX is now considered a full on gaming series.

the odd news is that the US is getting a English voiceover...? kasumi in english? hopefully it will be optional.

they should give them all munchkin and/or deep manly butch voices. and when they talk, they should only use really big words.

ah, and all the Team Ninja games with English voice-overs have had the option for both. I imagine they'll do it for this too.

DOA2's (or was it ultimate?) english voice acting was, um... not great one bit. Tina sounded like a washed up barbie doll.

thanks. gotta see what that Ninja Gaiden announcement is...i cannot freaking wait for NG2. put about 100-125 hours into NG and Black and am still playing it weekly.

edit: sweet, they're working on it right now. Hopefully it'll be out next Fall/Winter.
