Does eb pricematch?
Do noobs make retarded topics?

The answer to both questions is the same.
Actually, it's different.

No, EB does not price match. Yes, noobs make retarded topics.

Yeah, I know. I was answered 2 threads at once and mixed up the two.

Then its super YMMV because you are like the only person Ive ever heard that happen for.

It used to be common practice for them to price match. They even had a sign on the wall near the registers at EB's saying how they had a low price guarntee. I guess they got rid of it though
One time, I asked the guy at EB about price matching and he uppercut me through the window.
Did you get back in the store to kick him in the nuts?

Last time I asked, I was told that they can no longer pricematch AND they can no longer change prices in the system whatsoever for any reason. If a game is on the shelf priced at 9.99 and it rings up 19.99, they CANNOT change the price down to 9.99.

Told me it was a "new policy", I call it "new bullshit".

That's a lie. Not too long ago I saw Everquest Online Adventures for PS2 with a shelf tag of $0.99 (new). It rang up for $11.99. They changed they price to $0.99
I have had eb price match. However, last time they told me they only price match from "gaming stores" like gamerush or gamestop.
YMMV. In my area GS and EB will price match on the conditions that
A) All they sell are Video Games ( No CC or BB) AND B) If they can call AND confirm the store still has some available and the price is the same.

I found if it's under $1 diff. they will just do it as long as Its a "competitor"

However! Your attitude is very important, I've seen a SM refuse to ask another GS to send a copy of a game ( which is encouraged policy ) because the guy had a bad attitude.

How is it "bull..."?

They don't have to pricematch anything. Considering they make next to nothing already on new games, why take a big loss when Best Buy is selling Rainbow Six: Lockdown for $20 less then retail price?

At my EB they removed the price override on the computer in June
