Doggies!!!
:D I wanna Shetland, eventually. How are they with regard to shedding? 'Cause my dog's a bitch about shedding, you can find his fuckin' hair in your food.
Probably sheds a little less than the average long hair dog.
After running into a couple of Boston Terrier aficionados, I wanted to see who else here loves some doggies.

Here's mine:
Bump- because I just remembered how fucking cute Jay's dog is. We need an updated pic jay.
oh. my. g-d. I'm in love. I officially found the dog I want. That is the cutest thing ive EVER seen. Jay my man you gots a Pom?

My favorite breeds are

1. Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog
2. Maltese
3. Shih Tsu
4. English Sheep Dog
5. Bull Mastiff

I am quite fond of the giant dogs [therefore two go on my list, I could easily make all five my top 5]

however, I have such a soft spot for the toys that I can't count them out, especially when I have a little furball myself = ) waking up with a little head poking out at my bed like a little monster is the most adorable thing in the world

I'll post a picture or two of my maltese soon.

I have a almost year and a half old Jack Russell, named Mickey, he got his name because when he was born the woman who bred his mother, when he came out he had the Mickey Mouse logo on his rear. I decided to keep it lol

Here a few pics: The first one is of him a couple of days after I got him. The chihuahua is my parents:

This is my partners dog, Spiffy, hes a mutt:

I just hate the fact that they're both over at my parents because we can't have animals here. Though we are keeping a cat that we're not supposed to have. Which is double trouble for me, 1 is if it gets found out, and 2, I fucking hate cats

As far as breeds go, I'm a terrier man lol

straight up, I am a dog whore... I love them to death. I'll respond more to dogs in a room filled with humans.

I got a 15-16 year old pug who's old as hell, but my little sweet heart. Once she dies I'll either get a pig or a pug again.

Well, the smaller the breed, the longer they live. Rolento, I'm sure you're familiar with the that once they get older, they lose control over their anal muscle. Causing it to just run out. My partner had one that belonged to his mother before she died that had that had problem
Wow, that is damn old for a pug. Isn't their average lifespan about half that?
Ok, so maybe it's not that bad, I thought we were told 7-10 when we got one for my sister. But that was years ago, and I don't really remember.

A healthy Pug can be expected to live 10 to 13 years, although many well cared for Pugs have reached 18.
What type of dog?
Murphy's a mutt. Looks to be a Mastiff/lab/retriever mix.

He's also deathly afraid of our laundry basket for reasons we don't follow. :bouncy:

yeah, she's already had that problem for a while, but we've figured out when she needs to go outside. It's easy to clean anyway.

I would post pics, but I don't have my camera... I'll see if I can post some old photos I have of her.

UPDATE: here.... these pics are over a year old. She's lost a little more weight but she still looks alot like what these pics show. Oh, and her name is Ginger:

This is Cinders, my half-black lab, half-husky. She was dropped off in the middle of nowhere (where we lived) as a small puppy in the middle of a very cold Ohio February winter, and we heard her outside my window crying, surrounded by snow.

(I'd resize that one but I think it's funny when it's big.)

her ears are normally like this, or stretched out to the side, which we call her 'yoda ears'. They're long like the labs, but try to stand up like the husky's, but they're too long, so they droop.

earsup.jpg

They perk up like that when she's excited or listening though. And obviously she's got the blue eyes from the husky bit, and the curly tail.

And this is Murray, a boston terrier who belongs to my brother but I have lots of pictures of him anyways so I thought I'd post a few.

He likes going out on the gulf in the boat with us.

And we've got four cats, but I imagine that's something for another topic.

Shes stiil a good looking girl though lol

Cinders ears look almost the same way as my partners mutt. Though he only ever seems to cock one ear when hes listening. And Murray in that last pics looks almost as if hes say "WAZ UP!?"

We hear that a lot-- I never really notice it, but then again, I see her every day so I guess I'm used to it. Some people have been quite scared of her because of it, saying she looks evil, but I don't know how people think she looks evil with her tongue hanging out and her tail wagging at warpspeed.

the problem with my dog is that she can't hear pretty much anything at all. I'm sure if they made dog hearing aids (and I was nice enough to buy one) y dog could hear good again, but it's not as if she really needs it since she sleeps and eats half of the day. That, and gives affection.
