Dr Pepper: 2011 Promo (EA Games DLC)

no problem,i had the same bug and i found that in bioware forums,and yes the code are fixed by dr pepper,yu can use them only for mass effect 2

Thanks OP. Used one of the codes from the first page for the ME2 items. Looking forward to more info about the BFBC2 items.
 
Sorry if anyone got first dibs on a code and it didn't work. I think someone might have found caps I threw in the trash (used) and put them in the bag for me.#-o

While looking through the caps this morning after posting, noticed one that had gouges in it that I made with my knife, entered it online and it was taken. Will mark any more I get from now on.

So will any cap I get off of a specially marked 20 oz. of Dr. pepper work for BC2 DLC? Or do i just put in the codes and hope the DLC is for BC2? I know I won't be able to get it until March 1st but just wanted to get the heads up on the situation.

The codes that are on the caps can be used towards any DLC on the Dr Pepper website for any of the supported EA games. (Mass Effect 2, Spore, Battlefield Heroes, Battlefield Bad Company 2, The Sims 3.)
 
How do you actually get these dlc's? I entered codes from actual bottlecaps I bought, but the pepper site times out when it's sending me to actually collect the dlc's?

Did that to me as well. I think we're hosed, but I sent an email to the help department, just in case. Can always create more accounts, I guess.

Ah, so there will be 4 BFBC2 items. That means I'll have 3 left over which I guess I'll hold onto to see if any other games I want come about.
 
question: once the BFBC2 content is up, which codes would work to get them?
do they have to be new codes/one per account/4 in total?

sorry im a lil confused about this promotion...
 
Looks like the stuff will not be released until 3-18-10.

If you look in the store section it shows what is in the drpepper promotion but says will be released on 3-18-10. It is the first 5 things under upcoming section.

^this - Quite a bit longer of a wait than the ME2 DLC but 'free' is 'free' I suppose.

will these work with one account, or we need to create 5 different ones?
 
The codes on Dr.Pepper bottle caps can be used on any of the currently available DLC (see OP for list). And, you can enter as many cap codes as you want into one account, where you can hold them until you're ready to redeem for your prizes.

The free reusable codes can also be redeemed for any of the DLC, but you can only use one reusable code per account. So if you wanted to get 3 DLC with the free reusable codes, you'd need to make accounts.

edit: Just make sure all three Dr. Pepper accounts are linked to your EA account.

So should I not bother trying to get it through the Dr Pepper site until the 18th? Pretty lame it isnt available on release day or at least within the next fucking week.

It's rather lame that it's not available for a few weeks and you need 5 codes for it all.

I've already had to use codes for the Mass Effect 2 DLC, and now 5 for this? Geez.

I am not getting BC2 for awhile and my college just got a lot of these in. So first person to PM me gets my code from my Dr Pepper I bought after class.

Edit: Code is gone but I have another class tomorrow so I may get more codes.
 
So are they actually up on the dr pepper site? I dont want to click redeem reward and then end up losing it because it isnt up yet.
