Dragon's Dogma and Ghost Recon:FS at Fry's for $50

Yeah I'm waiting until it hits 20-30. Unlike some people here I don't think that will happen "in June or July" because that seems a bit unrealistic to me. It's almost June already and the game just freaking came out. :p But I'm sure it'll hit that pricepoint used in the Fall sometime, and I can wait until then.
What do think will drop faster ghost recon or dragons dogma? I want both but not at the same time. Can't decide.
From my experience, ghost recon or Tom Clancy shooters don't drop fast while capcom games do.

I had thought the same thing back when I was sure that Asura's Wrath would have an almost instant price drop. 3 months later... I've seen it for around $50 at one point, but I was expecting that thing to be $30 within a month after release.

Dragon's Dogma at least had a $10 Amazon credit, which is same as cash for me...

YMMV, I read that some Target's have a temporary price cut of $29.99. I would definitely check it out. YMMV of course.

@Kenshindono, I heard that the PS3 performs better of the two. I guess you have to install the X360 copy for it to even be playable.

thanks. Ya i watched a review and did a little looking and it looks like the 360 version has some serious texture and flat out pop in issues. One clip showed the guy waiting about 5 seconds for a vendor to be rendered in the game o_O Not its textures, but actually show up. Like old school pop in issues on the PS1, but 2 feet from you.

not sure how its blind fanboyism when one seems to blatantly run better than the other. With one having serious pop in issues and other issues while the other does not

By the way no one answered the question about the online pawn system. I on.ly have xbox silver, as i dont see the point in giving MS money for something that should be free. Would I be locked out of the ability to use other peoples pawns on the 360 version? Its more a curiosity for some of my friends who only have a 360 since i'll be getting the PS3 version. But im not sure how XBL really works. If they would screw you outa stuff like that too, or if its only online multiplayer your locked out of

Version Differences - Demos
I played both 360 and PS3 demos last night. After the dragon breathes fire and flies away, look at the embers flying around. There's significantly more on the PS3 demo. The textures are more detailed as well. I used a spot that was looking back over the embers and into the moonlit mountains in the distance. I made sure that the angles were as identical as possible. Then I just flipped between both systems (HDMI1 & HDMI2 on the TV) in the same areas. It really wasn't that hard to do. Additionally, I found the color scheme to be less cartoon-ish on the PS3 vs. the 360. I'm not saying that's bad. Had I not played and purposely compared the two, I likely wouldn't have noticed a difference at all. I'm not trying to bash the 360. I did notice a slight dip in frame-rate on the PS3 version vs. what I played on the 360. That said, it wasn't anything that'd deter me from the PS3 version. I also asked my wife which she preferred - PS3 version.

FYI: I like both systems well enough. I fight constantly with myself as to which one (or PC) I should get X game on. Here, a PC version'd be great. I don't know if it'll happen though.

I have the game and in the manual after it talks about all of the online pawn stuff it has

"*All of this game's online features can be used with an Xbox LIVE free membership."

You should be good!

Got my Best Buy to price match both games. Combined with my $20 Reward certificate, I left pretty happy getting both games on release for $40 each, not to mention the bonus points for my Gamer's Club unlocked and using my Best Buy card!
