I'm surprised there isn't more talk about this game on here. This is an excellent platformer (probably one of the best to come out for the GBA) that deserves to be played. It's an excellent combination of quirky gameplay, interesting mechanics, puzzle solving and just fun platforming.

I'm only about six levels into it, but I'm really enjoying it. About the only bad thing I can say about it is the cart is incredibly ugly.

It looks ok... I'm not sure why Nintendo has shoved this one through with 0 advertising, though.

Makes me think it will price drop eventually.

They could have made you touch the screen for some non-important reason and packaged this as a DS game and everyone on this board would be talking about it right now.

Well... I still just think Nintendo did a bad job letting people know this game was around. The only type of advertising I ever saw was a video on one of the Gamecube kiosks, and I did some checking around... it seems like a fun game, its just not hyped at all anywhere.

It got pretty decent reviews, too.

I'm interested, just not in a position where I can plunk down any sort of change for it right now - espically with the last few GBA games I bought all dropped to $19.99 (Mario Tennis, Gunstar Super Heroes) fairly quickly.

Price drops for portable games is a dangerous gamble. If you don't get it now, chances are it might be hard to find complete and new. Still, 35 is a bit too much for me. If it's still around at 20, then I'll get it.

Yep, it looks like every GameRush got 1 copy of this game in. Luckily for me, one store mispriced it at $24.99, so I immediately picked it up.

I WANT to play it, but I, too, don't have the money (or, more realistically, the time) to pick it up right now. Maybe this summer, with the inevitable drought of new games.

I was hoping this would be one of those quirky titles that's released at a lower price point. I am interested in this though and I'll probably pick it up once I clear out some of my backlog.

Man, this game just keeps getting better and better as I get further into it. Great gameplay and really good level design and bosses. Support this game people, I want some sequels.

I supported it and GR last week as part of a $130 tab, I might get around to it after I finish Advance Wars or FFIV that are filling both slots in my DS.

Ditto. I completed it with all treasures yesterday, and it's a blast. Reminds me a bit of NES DuckTales for some reason -- which is a good thing!

That's a bizarre (and intriguing) comparison. As soon as I can find a copy at a decent price it's as good as mine!

I have been tossing and turning on whether to buy this. Is it actually good enough to warrant a purchase? How about replay value? If I beat it, do I ever again want to play it?

Done! I was going to get We Love Katamari, but you convinced me to give this a shot instead.

$19.99 after coupon at Best Buy.

I'll let you know what I think.

Wait, what? Is it on sale at BB, or is the $10 coupon still working?
tell me what you think about it
LOL! I have to open and play it first. I am suppose to be doing homework, but procrastinating is more fun.

lol, i meant when you have played a few hours :D

I played some of it last night and I really do like it. So far, which isn't very far in the game, it seems much more of a platformer like Mario. Perhaps when I get more into it there will be more puzzle solving.

This is a very polished game. The graphics are great. The idea, story are simple, but neat. The controls are easy and don't take a way from the game.

I don't want to rate it, but after playing the little I did, I would say this will be one of my favorite platformers, if not games ever. Right after Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros. 3. It really is that nice. The game has it's own little charm/personality it seems.

Just my initial impressions. Doesn't seem like it is going to be that popular or in demand. If you want a copy, perhaps you should go get it now. Just in case. Best Buy that I went to still had them in back not even out on the shelves.

Yeah, I'm getting that feeling too, but I didn't want to jump that far in until I completely finish the game. This could very well be one of the best 2D platformers ever though. It feels like a lost gem from the SNES or something.

Made by the Game Freak guys eh? I guess I'll pick it up if I see it around town. (Hopefully at EB, 'cause I've got some credit!)
I used the $10 off coupon.
I thought that expired in January?!

...I had a chance to try the game yesterday, and I'm hooked. I think I'll be buying itthis weekend for sure. :)

Rumor has it that because of the Best Buy Xbox 360 mishap they extended the coupon until 2/28.

So, it still shows up in the system when scanned. Whether that is on purpose or not I don't know.

I've got credit as well but I am torn since it is the same price as Super Princess Peach. Decisions decisions.
Is the rumble cart the same size as a nomal GBA cart? In other words, will it fit in a DS game case?
No, it's an extended cart... and a hideous maroon/brown color.

Lovely. Is it as big as like WarioWare twisted or a bit smaller?

Looks like a normal cart, but extends out 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. I don't know what the wario ware cart looks like.
I sent that to Nintendo's auction piracy email address.
As did I, and now the auction is down. I really should have written the user's name down as well to see if all their auctions got cancelled.

Damn you shipwreck, there is a copy of this game sitting at GR taunting me with it's availability to buy with cheapo GR credit... I guess I'll have to get the damn thing even though I have no time whatsoever for GBA games :D. I know that if I don't get it someone else will and they will never get another...

Pick it up and find time to play it! Drill Dozer's really special stuff. All the praise is well deserved.

Sexy Drill Dozer Wallpaper is available for free at Nintendo's website.

I love the graphics and overall look and feel of the game.

All right, all right, I'll buy the damn thing :D. But now I bet it won't be there when I go into GR...
