Driving distance for cheapass deals?

Skyfall_007

CAGiversary!
lol how far do you guys usually drive? the closes EB games to me is 10 miles away other than that there's a bunch of gamestops, circuit city, target and best buy about 5 miles apart from where I live.
i have to get about a 30 minute ride to the nearest mall. i cant drive yet, but i will in a month or so. then that distace wont matter.
you say that now. Driving sucks. The only time I have fun driving is when I am in my dads F-350

yea but i couldnt live without a car....imagine iw ould have to ghetto a way to go get games i want like the first day they come out....and sometimes gotta haul ass on sundays to buy any game on sale before they sell out

I have 2 BB's near me, a TRU and Target across from one of the BB's, a CC and CompUSA in the same plaza not far at all from me, a GameCrazy across from the other BB, a Gamestop down the road from GameCrazy, and 2 Gamestop's and an EB at the Mall of America.

Well near where I work; theres a Walmart, Gamestop and EB nearby (about 1 mile max)

Between the healthclub and work theres a BB and a TRU.

From home, theres a Gamestop nearby(2 miles), an EB in the mall(4 miles), a Target and BB on the same location(4 miles)

all the stores are within a few miles of me (probably about 3 at the most), but often times they don't have certain deals that are mentioned as ymmv. so basically it comes down to how much money you believe you may be saving vs. how much money you will spend on gas plus the extra time you are investing.

i'm not going to drive 25 minutes away to save 5 dollars.
try living in WI, the nearest CC is 20 minutes, BB is 30! Eb is about 20 WI sucks!!
Boo hoo, my closest CC is probably 6 hours away. ND sucks. No idea for EB, No Gamecrazy, No TRU, no Compusa, no more KB. But we do have a BB and Gamestop at least.

Yeah, although thats starting to suck too. Oh and I do sympathize about WI, I was just there and it does suck.

suck

furthest i went was about 90-100 miles away. i was on my way to my aunt's house and stopped in her local KB when they were doing a huge clearance.

Really depends on the deal, I have to figure in how much gas i'll use up and if I still come up on top if I get it, in other words 5 dollar deal and more then 10 miles? Nope not going, plenty of times in the past i've eaten up my deal on gas and that just sucks.

I live in Portland, OR, and it's pretty big, so we have almost everything here. There's a shopping center 4 blocks from my house with Gamestop and a Wal-Mart. Gamecrazy and Blockbuster are about 10 blocks away. Fred Meyer is about 15 blocks away.

I don't have a car though, I have to take the bus everywhere, except for those stores I mentioned above. But there are a lot of stores that aren't too long of a bus ride away on one or two routes, so I can participate in most B&M deals, as long as there's a store in SE Portland somewhere that I can can get to easily by bus.

i guess i'm lucky all within a one mile radius (which is under a mile from my house) there's; compusa, target, circuit city, office max, best buy, eb games, 3 funcolands/gamestop, and a toys r us. so basically everything is close to one another making multiple pick ups easy =)

plus on the way to work i pass about 2 more of each so if one doesn't have it could pick it up at any of those

edit: oh yea i forgot they opened a walmart here too right next to EBGames never been there yet tho

Werd to that. My dad has an F-350 too.

Lol, I used to live at Minot AFB in ND.

My nearest EB is 25 miles away and my nearest Best buy, Gamestop and CC is 50 miles away.

Living in DE is pretty Good. We have two BB's, three K-Marts, Six Staples, Two CC's, Three Eb's, Four Gamestops, Two Walmarts, a TRU, Several KB's (One closing though) and one Super Target (But it sucks for deals because everything sells out in a second. Good store, good quality, less than a decade old. But for deals I'd rather have three small targets then one huge one where everyone goes.)

All within 30 minutes of Newark.

For me it is about a 20 minute drive and then I am in the area of Best Buy, KB Toys, EB games, Circuit City, Target, Toys-R-Us, Sams and BJs

I live 6 minutes away from Circuit City, Toys R Us, EB and Gamestop, 7 minutes away from Best Buy and about 12 minutes away from Target so I never have to go far for deals.

Takes me about 15-20 minutes to drive from my house to the strip mall which houses EB/Best Buy/Target/Walmart. I try to save on gas and time by just going after class since my school is somewhat closer to there.

I live 3 miles away from a Walmart, 15 to the nearest Target, and 25-30 for CC, BB, and EB. Seeing as I don't have a car, I do pretty well at conning some family member or friend into driving me to those places. I'm just glad I can see the ads a day or two in advance so I can ask ahead of time to guarantee a trip out.

There's a Gamestop, EBGames, Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, Toys R Us and Game XChange all in the same little area about 2 miles from me. It's not too bad at all.

In my area theres 2 EBs in a mall thats connected to a Target. Across from the mall is Best Buy and across from that theres a CC. Then if you get on the streets theres a GameCrazy, a Wherehouse, and a gamestop hidden behind a bank.

No im not kidding.
