DS Lite for $109.99 after rebate @FYE

Just saw this today at the mall, you can get an new DS Lite for 109.99 after a 20 rebate at FYE. Sure it's a mail-in, but if you're looking to get one, this might be enough to push you to it.

Meh. Just keep your eyes on 'em. They aren't the best at record keeping (sent me a $50 rebate when it was supposed to be $20. Cool, but what if it had gone the other way?)
 
just wait for the b1g1 sale...its bound to happen, right?

smartass answer aside: thats a good deal and all but with the amount spent on gas money, tax and the inconvience of driving there why not have it shipped to your house for a penny under $130!
 
FYE usually sells their DS Lites for 139.99, for no real apparent reason. At least the one by me does.

Which really makes this more of a $10 rebate. By mail. Not really worth the time, gas, and stamp.
 
FYE was horrid to me on my PStwo slim rebate, kept saying it was a $3 CD rebate instead of a $30 one. So definitely MAKE COPIES of your original receipt and crap, since you'll have to send it into the company and won't have proof otherwise.

They eventually paid me at store level for the rebate, then they sent me the $30 rebate check finally(on a stinky little postcard which I almost tossed out).

Outside of my usual nature, I cashed that postcard and went out for a nice dinner on Transworld's dime. With all the running around and other various stupid bs I put up with, it was the LEAST they could do, which is why I'm very selective of the stuff I grab from FYE anymore.

And DAMN, you must live in the boonies if it takes THAT much gas to go to an FYE for this 'deal'. I mean, seriously, there's a mall maybe 2-3 miles from my house, walking distance even for me.

You see what they did to that cyclist in his avatar? In Foo's case, it probably IS better to have it shipped to his house.
