e-rewards: it is trustworthy/worthwhile!
Anyone who is a u.talk.back member should get an email saying they're shutting down December 15th. They will convert any points you have to E-Rewards dollars. You can be a new member and sign up or if you're already a member you have to email E-Rewards and tell them you want to convert them over. 4 UTB points= $1 E-Rewards. I have 289 points so I should be getting $72.25!!! Which is sweet cus 289 points couldnt even get me anything on UTB.
im a utalkback member as well but i cant even find the sign up button...i emailed them though.

I havn't kept track but I'd say I've probably gotten close to over maybe over $200 in GS giftcards. I've been on the site for over 2 years now. :)

I got the email too but something about it doesn't seem right...

Before, you needed 450 points for a $50 GS giftcard meaning for every $1 in rewards, you needed 9 points for $1 equivalent. But now, you only need 4 points for a $1? And this new program is supposed to offer more opportunities? I haven't gotten a survey in over two months so I'm kinda skeptical about this new program.

My biggest question question is if 1 e-rewards dollar is as good as $1 in a giftcard? Or are they going to be selling $50 giftcards for 75 e-rewards dollars? I don't want to sign up and have my points converted... I've got 404 so I can't get the $50 GS GC but I'd rather settle for a $25 than get boned over.

The sign up link is in the email they send you. It's invite only, just like the old program but if you have a utalkback account, you'll get the invite.

I've been with e-rewards for a year and just recently received my 4th Gamestop GC, totaling $100 in earnings. I love e-rewards!

If e-Rewards is following their standard reward levels then *if* they make the GameStop gift card available, it will be $25 for $50 in e-Rewards currency. That's what they provide to anyone who signed up with e-Rewards through GameStop.

I have another account with them through upromise and they do not have GameStop gift cards offered on that one.

I do find it crazy how I couldnt even get a prize with the amount of utalkback points I have but itll be $72 on E-Rewards. E-Rewards needs to get some new prizes for real! I hate waiting months to be able to claim yet another GS giftcard. Plus its a $25 gc for $50 worth of surveys.

Edit- They converted my points to e-rewards just like that. Have $114 now.

i tried clicking on the picture that says "sign up for e rewards now" and it doesnt work.

i just emailed utalkback. hopefully it works.

in the meanwhile, i looked at e reward rewards. seems like a mediocre selection. no sight of gamestop gift cards

I've been and e-rewards member for about 3 years, I've earned probably $220 in credit, I've used it for a target GC, an itunes GC, and a magazine subscription. I still have $100 in credit I'm hanging onto for a rainy day. I think I originally got invited by joining IGN insiders years ago.
It takes $75 in erewards to get a $25 Game Stop gift card.
Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. I knew this was some BS conversion scheme. I'll wait out before converting and hope that I get one final big survey to get the remaining 46 points for the $50 GS card but I get the feeling that that's not going to happen.

I thought it was $50 e-rewards for a $25 GC? That's what it says on my account.

I think for older members it's $50 for a $25 giftcard. My account is also setup that way but I've been participating for about 3 years now. From what I understand new members have to earn $75 to get a $25 GC.

Lately I've been using more of my time on opinionoutpost.com. I get a steady stream of surveys there an I can redeem my points for cash. I've earned around $170 in the past 4 months.

Anyone know if eRewards ever adds rewards? I don't really buy many games anymore, so there's really nothing of interest to me anymore. I'd love for Amazon giftcards or something to show up.

Interesting. My account is somewhere around 1.5 years old. I wonder when they changed it. Glad I got in early enough to get the better deal. I'm almost to another $25 giftcard ($2 and change left) but I've already redeemed this quarter's.
So once I've been in erewards a while it switches to $50 for a Gamestop giftcard? Or will it always be $75 for me?
No, you have to have signed up in the past before they upped the cost of that prize. Anyone that signs up now will have to pay $75 to get the Gamestop GC from here on out.

On my account the Gamestop reward has always been under the $50 rewards level since back when I first started.

Woot, only 73 cents away from $50 so I can redeem a gift card first thing next quarter!
I'm glad I'm finally on top of the surveys, since I have only had enough to redeem at the last minute so far. Plus, ordering two rewards last quarter (I got a Borders credit, then when they removed the Borders reward, I was able to get a second one) put me behind a little bit.

I'm right there with you. I've had $50+ for about a month now. The wait is killing me :twoguns:

Wait... so old members get a $25 GS GC for 50 e-rewards dollars? I'm confused now. I've got 400 points, that equates to 100 e-rewards dollars, meaning I can buy 2x $25 GS GCs?

You can only get one $25 GS GC per quarter.

If you see the gamestop gift card under your rewards, then yes, but like dead of knight said, you can only get one per quarter.

I just completed a $4 survey, now I'm good to go for next quarter! :D

To those who converted.. is there something special you have to do to get the $25 GS giftcard for 50 e-$s? Because my account says it's 75 e-$ for a $25 GS GC.

And did all of you get your points converted within 24 hours? It's only been a few hours for me but my points haven't shown up yet...

I have $50 saved up for Q4 2011 GC but not sure I'll continue this site after that. I wish I could give my account to someone that might want the lower prize level. I just spend so much more of my time on opinion outpost. I earn probably close to $40 a month there and I can convert it into cash.

WTF? How are you guys getting GCs for 50 e-$? All of the $25 GCs are 75 e-$s for me...:whistle2:?

You had to sign up back when Gamestop GCs cost 50-e$. I guess they raised the price for newer members. Also, you can't even get Gamestop GCs as a reward unless you signed up through Gamestop, so the site is pretty situational.

That said, I can never even reach my 50-e$ amount in 3 months. Never complete a survey and when I do once a month, it is only $2 tops. I give honest answers, so from now on screw that, I'm lying flat out.

I signed up a few years ago so I guess I'm "grandfathered" in on the old terms.

Hmm, I guess I actually signed up almost 4 years ago to the date (12/7/07). Wow, didn't think I had been doing it for that long. I guess as of today I've gotten $400 in free credit to Gamestop!

I'm coming up on another expiration in February. I will be interested to see if they give me the "platinum" membership or whatever it is where I get to keep my leftover points or if they'll force me into a "use it or lose it" situation like I've had in past years.

Helpful tip: NEVER give honest answers on e-rewards, it only hurts you.

^ agreed. i started lying and got $50 worth of gamestop GCs in 6 months. kinda long but better than before of the amount i was getting.
Picked up another $50 Gamestop card. When does the next quarter start?
It's the normal calendar quarters. Q1 2012 starts on the first of the year.
Q1: 1/1/12
Q2: 4/1/12
Q3: 7/1/12
Q4: 10/1/12
Picked up another $50 Gamestop card. When does the next quarter start?
I hope you mean spent $50 e-rewards to get a $25 gamestop gift card. Or else I've been doing it wrong and could get double the money per quarter!

Yep, that's what I meant. I'm so use to $50 meaning $50 that I typed that out of habit. Hopefully the $25 Gamestop GC arrives before Christmas.

Does anyone use Swagbucks??? I got a $10 Steak n Shake gift card that I printed out and my sister said they wouldnt take it because it doesnt have enough numbers. SB sent an 18 digit number but to check the balance I need a 16 digit card number and a 3 digit access number. Swagbucks email response was "click on How Do I Redeem This"....uhm im not stupid, thats the first thing I did and it doesnt help at all.

Wanted to mention that the Gamestop card arrived a few days ago in the amount of $25. It seems like every time I order a card, it arrives faster than the card before.
Reminder folks, it's a new quarter! Just cashed in for my gift card. :D
Thanks for the reminder! Ordered mine this morning.

Also got the message when I went into my account that they're gonna let me carry over all of my remaining points into the next year!

Which is pretty great since I still have $71 left after redeeming the $50.

Nice! You've got your Q1 card out of the way and you're almost halfway to Q2!

I had $30 left over. I remember one year I had close to $70 left over and I had to spend it or lose 75% of it.

I don't know why, but these new surveys just don't seem worth it... their payout just seems really low, even if they are more frequent.

Got my first $25 Gamestop Card today from the site. I hope my luck gets better with the surveys so I can get one each calender quarter

I'm at $47.91 erewards credit. So any survey over $2.10 will give it to me. Been waiting almost 3 weeks now for another survey.

This will be my 2nd card i answer the questions right which kicks me from the majority of them.
Anyone else notice the site seems to be down today?
Hadn't tried to log on today until I read your post but I am getting the same thing. Site is down. I had just hit my $50 for my Q2 redemption a couple days ago. I hope it comes back because we're just a couple weeks away from redemption time again.
