I dunno, for me, I buy all third party games for Xbox... so the more they can acquire, the better for them... the ability of easy voice chat with friends and the fact more of my friends have an xbox makes it a no-brainer for me.
And just cause they bring "more Halo" isn't a bad thing... everyone

ing loves it. Not me, so much. I'm now strictly a CoD guy... but again, all my friends have that on Xbox.
I like the new Facebook, Last FM, Netflix features. I understand you can just do these things on your PC, but I like the all-in-one aspect if it.
And if the xbox is going to have actual voice recognition? forget it.
Again, I'm not bashing the PS3, I like the machine. but there just aren't many reasons for me to go to it. While I'm always turning on my Xbox for something... just look how big an early success 1 vs. 100 seems already.
You do know why Halo is popular right? It was the first console FPS with a good control scheme that was workable. Otherwise it's a mediocre FPS where if it was to be released originally on the PC, it would have died a lonely death without any sequels against the heavy hitters like Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Tribes and everything else that's superior as a shooter.
The uniform style of Live does make everything consistent and most people like that, but Criterion did say that the PS3 surpasses live on one account that they can make the online service whatever they want rather then conform to microsoft's standards. Though because of this, we have games ranging with great online and interfaces, to games that are so bare bones that it's almost why bother.
Consoles are more where your friends are this gen. You basically get the one where they're playing if you plan on multiplayer games.
Honestly all that integration would be worthless if Microsoft only bundled a browser with the 360. So I don't really see much point in it. I don't really facebook or twitter. Twitter left a bad taste in my mouth after watching Broussard's company go tits up and watching him write "Gonna play Fallout 3."
